Bar Refaeli, aka Leo DiCaprio’s Israeli supermodel girlfriend, wore a golden Elie Saab Spring 2007 creation to the premiere of A Mighty Heart on Monday at the Cannes Film Festival in France. She accented her look with turquoise jewels.
Halle Berry wore the same golden delight to the Ebony pre-Oscar party in Hollywood back in February. The actress finished off her look with matching gold bracelets.
Who wears it best — BAR REFAELI or HALLE BERRY?

i have 2 admit they are both beautiful but the dress goes better with halle’s skin tone and it looks more polished and elegant on her than bar. plus i dont like bar’s blue jewelry.

For a “supermodel” Bar seems oddly clueless about how to show and model a dress. Look at the awkward way she’s holding the dress out to the sides. She looks like she’s folding a sheet!
Look at the smooth confident way Halle wears the dress. Halle looks the supermodel in these photos, not Bar.
Halle! I think the dress matches her skin-tone better and she got her accessories just right. Bar looks nice too, but it just look better on Halle! woo.

Halle. She look incredible in that dress. But Bar… Honestly, I don`t really understand why is she even there on the first place and second what is the big deal about her. I don`t she is anything outstanding. And her necklace is horrible.

“woman”. They both look wonderful, but with Halle’s sophistication and bearing (you’ll get there Bar, it takes a little time, you have to live a little), I’d have to say there is no contest. At 40, Halle Berry has finally come into her own; her true beauty.

So what’s that story about Leo cruising with another girl in Cannes, Daya Gonzales or something, if Bar is there all the time with him? I swear, I almost believed that gossip this time.
Usually there is a clear winner in these things but I think they both look stunning, even if I don’t even like that dress too much. I agree though that the gold bangle fits better than the turquoise - maybe the jeweler Chopard chose that for bar to wear since she’s posing with the vp of that company on the red carpet. I think Bar is showing off the dress really marvelously; its only in that one pic that she is holding it out like a sheet, probably having fun with the photog’s. Lola, you didn’t really belive that gossip did ya? NY Daily news had an item today that fully debunked it about Leo and a new woman.
Whoever says Bar is not beautiful is either jealous or not objective. She clearly is. Hate her or like her for whatever reason but she’s more beautiful physically than most people.
Bar is pretty, but she’s really just neither here nor there for me. I think she’s okay.

The dress colour suits Halle better and I also don’t like the jewellry Bar is wearing. But they both look beautiful and I am glad that Leo took Bar to the festival with him.

I don`t think Leo took Bar to Cannes. He was without her last weekend and he started shooting his new movie today ( Tuesday ) in New York. And just because I think she is not that pretty it doesn`t mean I`m jelous of her. She doesn`t look good on these pictures, her jewelry and her dress don`t match and she really doesn`t look like a `super`model showing off that dress.

They both look great, the gold color suits Halle better, but Bar’s accessories make the dress more interesting.
They both look great, but I think this dress is hard to wear because of the way the fabric drapes and the color–gold doesn’t really look good on most women. Halle can carry it off far better than most because of her darker skin tone.

First off, since when is Bar a supermodel. No one in the industry would call her a supermodel. She’s lovely, but nowhere near an an industry darling. She hardly gets any editorial work (she mainly does print campaigns) and it is well known she can’t pull of couture. There is a reason Italian Vogue refused to work with her!
Secondly, Halle wears it best! The woman has poise, and look at that amazing bone structure.

Halle. Golden tones are meant for darker skin tones, and even though Bar is really pretty, she kinda looks washed out and those blue accessories are not doing anything to revive it

some of you guys must be blind or prejudice cause Halle definitely looks the best. If I see another girl that is pretty, I’m not afraid to say so, no matter what race. Halle knows how to accessorize better. The other chick is cute but that jewelry was what made it a bad ensemble for her… and the way she held her dress out. Be plain and simple and you can’t go wrong.
