Way to be kinda harsh Jared, lol. Yeh Blake doesn’t have the best voice, but you can tell he wasn’t comfortable with the song and he tried his best. It’s clear that Jordin did better then him in that song though.

We all know that Jordin’s gonna win, so I see no reason for us having to bash on Blake. He’s had a good run on the show, and probably one of the most entertaining. Jordin will win, but I see that Both are gonna have great careers.

Jordin will win because she has the package, the face, vocal, charisma and very talented plus she is the youngest contestant that reach the finale of american idol. she sings better than anybody in american idol season..

Jordin did that song beautifully!

You’d think they would pick a song that both the contestants could sing within their “style” without sounding completely subpar.

I’ve liked Blake for awhile but his almost attitude over the song (”he’s not saying anything!”) might have left too sour a taste in people’s mouths.

i like both…jordin will probably win…however blake will probably be the most sucessful. jordin cud be successful if she makes like a whitney houston 80s/90s album something like that.

Blake all the way…Jordin fits the idol profile but ever, Blake is a much better performer and the one to watch definitely! Love Blake :) plus the results r fixed anyway…if anyone wants to talk about good voice –> MELINDA is ur answer NOT JORDIN…jordin is far from melinda n despite the song choice or whatever in the finale…definitely BLAKE over jordin!!

If Jordin had a single out on the radio - you wouldn’t be able to tell who the singer is. Her voice is GENERIC. you could mistake it for katherine mcphee’s song, another GENERIC performer. Jordin takes no risks, she just stands there. Jordin reminds me of Diana from season3 with Fantasia, as well. A forgettable person.

Blake has a unique voice and you could probably tell the distinctness on the radio. He’ll be remembered. He has so much potential to do great things in different areas of music - r&b, pop, reggae, electronica.

poor blake, that last song was so NOT meant for him. anyway, i hope he doesn’t win but gets his own recording deal. i like him, but you know an AI record wouldn’t work with his style. jordin’s a better “fit” for this type of competition… easier to “mold.”

I can’t help but think that Melinda would have delivered a goose-bumps making fabulously flawless version of that song. Jordin’s got talent but it is as yet raw. She is still young. Melinda should have been Idol’s winner. It’s the right time. Oh well, we can’t control the votes.

lots of people think blake can sing, and what is the problem. as much as AI would like to profes they are JUST a singing competition, we all know differently. and in today’s music scene, it’s not just about the voice. so, we can all get over it’s a singing competition angle. jordin was not the best singer this year, so that point went out the window when the best left.

it was so slanted last night, it was ridiculous. i didnt even care about the last song, because it was so ridiculous that they’d sing the same song. choose two songs, there is a concept. blake is who i’ve always wanted to see win, and that hasn’t changed.
