OlderAll Aboard, Ocean’s Thirteen!
Brad Pitt (in Tom Ford again) and the rest of his A-list costars — George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia — leave the Eden Roc Hotel to have attend the Ocean’s 13 benefit cruise aimed at ending genocide in Darfur.
Says Reuters, “A Cannes debut represents a risk for a major Hollywood movie like Ocean’s because reviewers in the French Riviera resort tend to throw their support behind European, Asian and U.S. art house films, and foresake Hollywood studio fare like Ocean’s.”
Brad said, “There is a fair argument for deep and thought-provoking … types of films as well as pure, unadulterated entertainment.”
Damon added, “You still want the bigger movies to be good.”
Clooney quipped, “It’s really not about the film, as much as winning the [Palme d'Or] award.” (It’s handed out to the best film in Cannes but Ocean’s Thirteen doesn’t even qualify.)
Damon joked, “We think we’re going to win.”

ITA! Didn’t someone in the other thread say that Angie was doing press with foreign journalist while Brad was doing the Ocean’s 13 stuff? If so, isn’t it really possible that she was tired and wanted to chill with her kids and just be instead of trying to work a room to get people to donate more money. She’s damned if she doesn’t and damned if she does I guess.

Watching Showbiz Tonight and they are reviewing AMH and Leah Rozen, film critic from People Magazine said that Angie did a great job.

The boys spend the day at the Eden Roc Hotel hotel doing promo for Oceans and then went to the charity event later, angelina was at the Hotel du Cap doing promo for AMH. It was the time for the boys to shine, it wasn’t a brangelina event like yesterday,nothing wrong there.

Althought I think both Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are equally hot…Matt has made better decision on movie roles and overall….IMO….Matt is the better actor. I even believe that Casey Affleck is a far better actor than his brother. Both Casey and Matt have better range than Ben….again all in my opinion.

Don’s wife and Matt’s wife don’t draw the attention that Angelina and Brad do. I’m not saying she didn’t go because she would over shadow everything, but she can support him from the hotel. Maybe Brad hung out with George. She’s still doing press and other things for AMH. Brad has to work and so does she. Thankfully, sometimes they can go together. I’m pretty sure she’ll go to the premier, but I doubt you’ll see her at smaller events like this one or the one earlier. Brad only went to AMH because he produced it.
Are fans really that easily swayed? lol. I can’t believe anyone would think anything is wrong. They said Angelina was in the hotel and went to greet them when they came back. Sad.
for me what i find sexier with the 013 gang is their sense of humor esp. george’s & brad’s. remember that interview of julia roberts with george & then brad calls up about that sexiest man alive thing, that was really a gag.

Calm down. I was just commenting on the state of the tabloids who take the littlest thing and make a big deal out it. It’s given that couple of tabloids are going to take something like this to fuel the break up and they are faking their relationship stories they’ve writing about the past month or so. Seriously none of us here know what’s really going on. They could be happy and in love or they could be indeed staying together until they get their movies and promotion out of the way. Who the hell knows.

Once in a while it is good to venture out on your own without your loved one. Brad and Angie are showing us that they are in a committed relationship and that they don’t always have to attend social functions together. It makes it more special as a fan to see them once in a while. Yesterday, they were hand in hand for the photocall and the premeire of A Mighty Heart. Brad and Angie’s appearances were breathtaking especially when they walked the red carpet.
This fundraising for Darfur is admirable , the Ocean’s gang is doing a lot of good and I bet that Angie is proud of Brad’s part in the endeavour. Let us not forget that the Jolie-Pitt foundation donated a cool 1 million dollars to the cause along with a donation to a Sudanese clinic a few months ago.

Well Said and I agree. And maybe one of the reason Angie did not go is because they did not want to leave the kids for 2 nights in a row, so it was best for Brad to go since it is a O13 fundraiser; and I am sure that Angie will attend the O13 premiere tomorrow

Don’t hate me but I’m happy angelina wasn’t there. You can see that the event was a “cast” thing, Andy is there, Ellen is there the spotlight is supossed to be on them.

LOL! maybe I am and hey good for your 4 year old nephew, he is learning young, maybe he can come and hook up my VCR jk. Yep that is what boyfriends are for lol, and I won’t tell him, cause he still can’t believe that I don’t know how to hook up a VCR, he laughs at me lol

I agree. yesterday it took me a couple of minutes to adjust my eye–i wasn’t expecting that, but he looked phenomenal. my only complaint is that it’s darker. a little more golden and it would be perfect!
