OlderAll Aboard, Ocean’s Thirteen!
Brad Pitt (in Tom Ford again) and the rest of his A-list costars — George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia — leave the Eden Roc Hotel to have attend the Ocean’s 13 benefit cruise aimed at ending genocide in Darfur.
Says Reuters, “A Cannes debut represents a risk for a major Hollywood movie like Ocean’s because reviewers in the French Riviera resort tend to throw their support behind European, Asian and U.S. art house films, and foresake Hollywood studio fare like Ocean’s.”
Brad said, “There is a fair argument for deep and thought-provoking … types of films as well as pure, unadulterated entertainment.”
Damon added, “You still want the bigger movies to be good.”
Clooney quipped, “It’s really not about the film, as much as winning the [Palme d'Or] award.” (It’s handed out to the best film in Cannes but Ocean’s Thirteen doesn’t even qualify.)
Damon joked, “We think we’re going to win.”

Brad looks like George dressed him and styled his hair. It’s gonna be funny here if she doesn’t show up to the O13 premiere with him.
#60 ITA…it’s not that serious. Since she was doing international press for AMH earlier that day she probably just wanted to chill. If there was an issue she wouldn’t have been in the lobby to meet him upon his return. As for the tabs, it’s a given that they are going to say what they want. If the JP’s were worried about ‘refuting’ them they would have been slobbing each other down on the red carpet last night. Instead, they were business as usual…acting like they always have.
As fans/haters we don’t know what their lives are BUT I don’t think Angie is the type to sham a relationship because of a movie. She’s with the man because she wants to be and vice versa. Time reveals all. If I were betting gal, I’d say the two of em’ will still be together this time next year. Haters still complaining and fans still losing their minds over their pictures LOL
johana: I understand what you are saying: it was a cast event. The thing is that when Angie arrives at some place is so wonderful to see her…and I’m talking about pics only, imagine if you can see her personally with Brad…WOW, like on monday…

Hi all, just catching up with all these reading. Geeeze. Anywhooo, just got her a little while ago. And if you guys are wondering about two2, and she ain’t here yet, it’s because somebody named June gave her some sound advice on the last thread and it wasn’t me! I’m Juno. I have to say that it was pretty darn good advice though, I totally agreed. My gut feel is two2 is most likely going through relationship issues much like JA’s and she is still in that denial stage or maybe in the anger stage. You guys know what mean - that 7 stages a person goes through when either they are dying or going through some ordeal. I thought she was a troll, but more and more I think it ’s just someone who is battling some painful marital problems. Trouble is , instead of working on her own issues, she is looking at others issues or putting down people she may identify in her situation, to either make herself feel better or just to vent out her anger. Maybe her hubby/BF is fooling around with someone pretteir than her and she is looking at this person as Angie. Thus she can’t let go, and also the reason she is not anwering you directly Dean. Okay, just my 2 cents.
I really need to get to bed, or I’ll be paying big time tomorrow. Good night!

Angie doesn’t haven’t to go especially at this time when she has AMH press and business to take care of. she was asked what she has planned to do in Cannes and she said they plan to hang with the kids and do what they are scheduled to do—–hence promote their movies. All the other spouses don’t have movies out as their husbands. Angie has interviews with numerous journalists and all that comes with showcasing a very important movie.
However, she will be there come thursday for the Ocean’s 13 premeire….wait and see!!

Didn’t someone in the other thread say that Angie was doing press with foreign journalist while Brad was doing the Ocean’s 13 stuff? If so, isn’t it really possible that she was tired and wanted to chill with her kids and just be instead of trying to work a room to get people to donate more money. She’s damned if she doesn’t and damned if she does I guess.

It was a cast event. Of course other people could go, but again people forget that Angelina also has to promote her movie (which helps Brad as well). Angelina going makes it all about Brad and Angelina. As you might have saw, didn’t they get a standing O for walking into a room? They would over shadow everyone and it would be about everyone seeing THEM, and not the rest of the cast. You know I’m sure Brad would have liked to stay home with the kids but he had an obligation to go because people paid huge sums of money to go to the event. He did not go to the dinner a few nights ago and of course neither did Angelina.
Tabloids will continue to say what they always say. To even slightly believe they are faking is believing someone like Life and Style magazine and I just can’t believe anyone would possibly do that. I know people worry because they love the couple, but let’s have faith in them. I believe their words. Simple as that.
The video was great, the crowd was going nuts over angie :D
