OlderAll Aboard, Ocean’s Thirteen!
Brad Pitt (in Tom Ford again) and the rest of his A-list costars — George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia — leave the Eden Roc Hotel to have attend the Ocean’s 13 benefit cruise aimed at ending genocide in Darfur.
Says Reuters, “A Cannes debut represents a risk for a major Hollywood movie like Ocean’s because reviewers in the French Riviera resort tend to throw their support behind European, Asian and U.S. art house films, and foresake Hollywood studio fare like Ocean’s.”
Brad said, “There is a fair argument for deep and thought-provoking … types of films as well as pure, unadulterated entertainment.”
Damon added, “You still want the bigger movies to be good.”
Clooney quipped, “It’s really not about the film, as much as winning the [Palme d'Or] award.” (It’s handed out to the best film in Cannes but Ocean’s Thirteen doesn’t even qualify.)
Damon joked, “We think we’re going to win.”

You know what, I like that the press respected this film enough that they are not asking “Brangelina” type questions, but relevant questions. She’s so cute though with her last answer.
“He’s a really good producer,” she says, “and he also spent most of the time at the hotel with our three kids, being an even better father.”
The trolls are trying to derail the site again. There is nothing wrong. These people were together all day yesterday and last night. It was a Ocean’s 13 event. Had Angie gone it would have been a Brad and Angie event. I am sure Brad and Angie both decided not to turn it into the B&A show. That’s called respect. Mygawd this could go on all night and nothing would ever be decided, because no one knows anything. Let it go. Don’t let them dictate the tone of the site. peace.

Angie is in LOVE with Brad it’s so cute…..this woman can love and lucky her, she’s in love with a wonerful man who knows how to love too. No wonder they don’t care for all the hype about them…coz when they are together with their family, nothing else matters. They must have such a sweet family life.
She says she will finish up a film now shooting in Prague (the thriller “Wanted,” with Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy), and that soon she and Pitt plan to take a year off. BOTH OF THEM??? MAYBE BACK TO NOLA?

That’s what a poster in the last thread stated but the haters want to take something and run with it especially after the whole 2kids2plus9 thing today. The haters are really grasping at fake straws now.
And I think the whole Angelina and Brad Wife and husband thing is cute. It’s not the first time they have been refered that way and I guess it’s because they really are as close to a married couple you can get with out the paper. I just love that GC and Ocean boys refered to Ms. Jolie as Brad’s wife. Maybe Brad did give Matt lesson on how to kiss his wife?
Angie is the perfect woman to fall in love with. She is open, honest, childlike, inspiring, hardworking, vulnerable yet so strong, inquistive, engaging, down to earth, fearless, sturbbon, kind, nurturing, extreme, loving, appreciative, gentle, straight-forward….gosh I could go on and on. I don’t think there is any other female actress who is this open about the good and the bad in her life. For her it is what it is, you either take it or leave it.
I saw the video of Brad and Angelina premier, especially the part when the enter the screening and they get a standing ovation. It’s so INCREDIBLE and probably even for Brad and Angelina, rather overwhelming. Lainey is absolutely right about them attaining even greater ICONIC status with the successful filming of AMH. Their glow/light/ what ever you call it, has been commented upon by SEASONED Journalists, who are not easily impressed by “stardom” and each of them talk about how these 2 just GLOW, seem to have a key light trained on them.
From their interviews, AMH was a very very special project for them. They care deeply for the message but even more important, they care very deeply for Mariane, Adam and probably the Parents Pearl. They wanted this movie to be good, because, ultimately it is validation not only for them but also Mariane, Adam and the parents Pearl. The days leading up to Cannes, probably did carry some tension - would people like it? Would the message of loving thy neighbour, be well received or would the message be buried in a stream of negative comments over the acting, the accent, the movie itself. And positive validation did come in spades. But the sense of relief, it is no surprise that Angelina must feel some exhaustion.
its so nice to read actual news and facts about the Joile-Pitts as opposed to the constant yammering on from people who don’t know anything, but hope for the worst. lol..
