OlderBrad to Angelina: Don’t Make Eggs
Wearing a pair of golden aviator sunglasses and bronze Christian Louboutin heels, Angelina Jolie gets interviewed by The Washington Post at the Hotel du Cap in Cannes, France.
Here are some fantastic excerpts from the recent article from The Washington Post titled “Angelina Jolie, Baring Her Soul On Behalf of A Mighty Heart“:
On guys never being asked who they’re wearing: One of the dozen reporters begins by asking who [Angelina] is wearing, then jokes that they never ask the guys that. “Except for Brad,” Jolie says, laughing, flashing the big teeth.
On Brad Pitt executive producing A Mighty Heart: Pitt joined Jolie in India. “He’s a really good producer,” she says, “and he also spent most of the time at the hotel with our three kids, being an even better father.”
On taking a year off: [Angelina] says she will finish up a film now shooting in Prague (the thriller “Wanted,” with Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy), and that soon she and Pitt plan to take a year off. She will keep flying planes. She just got instrument-rated and Pitt now has a pilot’s license. She says she takes precautions in her travels but will continue to see and experience the world. She might even learn how to cook. “I’ll say to Brad I’d like to make us some eggs,” Jolie says, “and he says don’t.”

JUst saw the interview on the Today show……I can’t wait to see the rest
George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle and Matt Damon — all partners with Weintraub in Not On Our Watch — were present, as well as Ellen Barkin, Scott Caan and Elliott Gould from the film’s cast. I’m told OK! Magazine paid a lot of money for the exclusive rights to photos and interviews with the stars, and that the fee goes straight to the charity. Everyone wins

I think People mentioned that they do not know whether Brad will take a year off so may very well do so.

FOX waxing postively about Brad and Angelina for two days in a row! Never thought that would ever happen. The tiny negative gnats sprouting minute bits of negativity from under their rocks have been rendered totally insignificant. Life is sweet for the Jolie-Pitts.

…but it makes sense. not even people magazine has the deep pockets and the utter recklessness to empty them that OK magazine has. This event was about making money…alot of it. i wouldn’t be surprised if they paid 5 million dollars for the rights.
but please…PLEASE, tell me that brad didn’t talk personal details with them.

They are like Star or L&S, talking about Brad talking to jen, angelina secret meeting with jen.. **** like that. It pisses me off that they will get and exclusive interview with Brad, George and crew.
yeah , tabitha all of the journalist that interviewed angie yesterday were all in the same room ap,washington post, people and others-they all heard the questions being asked and the answers angie gave, she didn’t specifically say brads name but said we when talking about clearing their schedule.
you have to take the good with the bad unfortunately, weintraub said they raised over 9 million dollars last night and as long as the money goes directly to the relief agencies in darfur thats a good thing-ps ok probably is just a little pissed that angie didn’t go-lol

The purpose of the fundraiser was to raise the most MONEY, so the HIGHEST BIDDER WON!! OK is not doing as well in the USA as they thought they would so it makes perfect sense that they would be the highest bidder. OK also admitts that it always pays for every interview they have. PEOPLE/HELLO, US knew that this fundraiser would not generate that much of an increase in sales.

So thats why OK mag did that clearing up the rumours thing or something to that effect. Atleast they did not get Angie. You know they will be disappointed about that.

I don’t know, but I’m really not that shocked that it was OK magazine that bought the rights to the event. This event wasn’t planned by Brad and Angie, it was planned by somebody else and if OK was willing to pay more money than everyone else, good. In the end, the money is going to charity and is going to be used to help people, so it doesn’t really matter where it came from. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to be buying the magazine though, I’ll just look at the pictures online.

I can’t wait to see the rest of the interview with Angelina. Anne Curry might not be close to having the best interview techniqes, but I think she genuinley likes Angelina . So I’d rather see her interview Angelina than a more polished one who does not care.
