OlderAngelina Jolie: ‘Today Show’ Interview
Angelina Jolie sits down with NBC News’ Anny Curry to discuss her new movie A Mighty Heart, having a fourth child and losing her mom, Marcheline Bertrand.
Said a tearful Jolie, “This has been a heavy year in losing my mom and having a fourth child. I’m very aware of time and of memories and of doing and enjoying life, not just doing the right thing and being a useful person, which I certainly want to be and believe I am. I want to be a great mom like my mom was. And I want to also do the things that I love. So I’m at a strange place in my life. That happens when you lose a parent, where you drop into a different kind of serious. Yet at the same time, you want to enjoy and laugh as much as possible everyday. But I’m holding onto my family really tight at this moment because of that and trying to be as good a woman as I can be in my life. Dammit. You got me crying. (Curry apologizes) That’s alright. It’s part of life. … I lost my mom. It’s a natural thing for a child to lose a parent. I lost my mom too young, but it happened. And I’m happy she’s out of pain, because I love her and she’s my friend.”

I think Ann knows what she can talk about to Angelina and Angelina and Brad always go back to her, so I think they trust her. She’s not annoying or unprofessional to me. Ann is their hand picked interviewer and they obviously like something about her. She does go into other subjects, but people also want to know about her private life.

Angelina Jolie is going to have a VERY blessed life from here on out because her energy is good. When she adopted Maddox, her energy changed from negative to positive. She is constantly sowing good seeds into the earth and that’s why she has attracted Brad Pitt and her wonderful children into her life. You reap what you sow. That is the truth in life for everybody. It’s really true.

Love the interview. I am glad Ann Curry and not Diane Sawyer who did the interview. Can’t stand Sawyers interview. Also I hope Meredith V will not get any interview from Angie. She is on the same boat with Diane, Baba W and Elizabeth on the View.
I know how Angie feels about losing her mother. I lost mine almost ten years ago and I am still grieving. The interview made me cry, but loved Angie’s response to the questions about the paps.

Please, don’t post the cover whoever wants to go ver over there can. We have a lot of positive things going on over here. A mighty Heart has gotten rave reviews from almost every news outlet and paper why bring trash over here.
This endless (mostly false) speculation over everything Jolie-Pitt is so sickening to me! I cant imagine what it’s like for that family. Good thing they say they don’t read tabloids. I’m in PR, and if I was their publicist I would be getting a coronary. The thing is u can’t win..even though AJ has always been vocal about herself the tabs twist her words or say she’s lying. When she keeps quiet they say she’s hiding something…aarghh!!

Well, you know, they do break up every few weeks and get back together. They’ll probably say they’re having babies to ’save the relationship’. You know, they gotta bring the negative in with the positive. Tis a tabloids tale.

I bet she is really loving all the attn right now, putting the final touches on her scrapbook. She once said that she loves the pics that are taking of her for her scrapbook. She looks much better when she is mad, angry or trying to look sexy … when she smiles or laughs she looks SCARY!

Ok I saw this morning’s interview and there was Ann Curry again with the over dramatic facial expressions, arms out, etc….Way to go in scaring Angelina and bringing her to tears. If she has stayed on topic, A Mighty Heart, there would not be people trying to get an interview with her becasue she got an interview of Angelina. This is such a serious film may I ask something to the fans out there? who in television news would be able to get the best interview of Angelina & Brad right now? After scouring th usual places my only conclusion was CHARLIE ROSE. Yes it seems like yesterday that Angelina was on with The Good Shepherd and he seems to talk way too much but he won’t go on and on about trivial matters. What do you guys think?
