OlderAngelina Jolie: ‘Today Show’ Interview
Angelina Jolie sits down with NBC News’ Anny Curry to discuss her new movie A Mighty Heart, having a fourth child and losing her mom, Marcheline Bertrand.
Said a tearful Jolie, “This has been a heavy year in losing my mom and having a fourth child. I’m very aware of time and of memories and of doing and enjoying life, not just doing the right thing and being a useful person, which I certainly want to be and believe I am. I want to be a great mom like my mom was. And I want to also do the things that I love. So I’m at a strange place in my life. That happens when you lose a parent, where you drop into a different kind of serious. Yet at the same time, you want to enjoy and laugh as much as possible everyday. But I’m holding onto my family really tight at this moment because of that and trying to be as good a woman as I can be in my life. Dammit. You got me crying. (Curry apologizes) That’s alright. It’s part of life. … I lost my mom. It’s a natural thing for a child to lose a parent. I lost my mom too young, but it happened. And I’m happy she’s out of pain, because I love her and she’s my friend.”

Angelina did make an appearance at the bar. Serene and secured – that wicked bodyguard pacing incessantly making sure none of the super rich people were about to attack her and preventing trespassers from getting too close. Sorry to disappoint the haters but away from the cameras, I’m told she and Brad are – and I quote – “ridiculously in love”. To the point where they will find each other’s eyes in a crowded room and send over a secret smile. Trust me…I just heaved a little too.

I agree she does seem like an intelligent empathetic woman. That is why she is the paparazzi magnet she’s become. She doesn’t appear to be a tramp just out to take a man away from his wife and family,yet she did just that. She repeatedly claimed she knew how her mother felt when she was cheated on by her father and she could never be ‘that’ woman. Yet she was clearly pregnant before the divorce was finalized. I think the world is trying desperately to figure her out, do we love her or hate her?! She seems to want to grab hold of all the things in her life that others hold dear because she doesn’t have that in herself. She adores the children she adopts because they need her and she feels superior to other moms. Not only is she attempting to be a supermom but she’s doing it with refugees unlike us average mom who birth our children naturally. Nothing shows this more than the constant photos of her with her adopted children (I’d bet there isn’t a photo of her without that baby carrier & little Z in the first year she had her) yet not one single shot of Shiloh in the same comforting hold? Her actions seem to contradict her interviews completely!

Ok, they have both interview ( OC13 and AMH) at the same time) so I pick OC13, because I knew that MSNBC always put the interview on their website right away. Sure enough they did. I laughed at the OC13’s boys interview, but I love Angelina’s responses at the interview, I cried. Ok, now what is up with Ann Curry facial expression?…she make me feel like she needs to go to the bathroom or something. LOL.

Antibes is like a sea of people, very crowded. It’s becoming like Cannes nowadays. I was even not able to find a parking it. My daughter got fed up in the car, we came back home.
