Good news for Ocean’s Thirteen as positive reviews are rolling on in!
Variety reports, “As smooth as a good mojito, as stylish as an Armani suit and as meaningful in the grand scheme of things as yesterday’s Las Vegas betting odds, Ocean’s Thirteen continues the breezy good times of the first two series entries without missing a beat.”
The Hollywood Reporter reports, “Rolling the dice for a third time in “Ocean’s Thirteen,” Steven Soderbergh and his team beat the odds. Final chapters of trilogies invariably suffer from lameness. This, of course, already transpired in the “Ocean’s Twelve,” where subplots misfired and the script resorted to all sorts of slight-of-hand trickery. The new film, which screened Out of Competition at Cannes, returns to Las Vegas and does recapture much of the spirit of the original film.”

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Thanks so much for sharing the awesome pictures. I couldn’t help a wide grin when I saw Brads facial expression in # 1177 (what part of Angie’s body is Brad looking at?). He had Shiloh’s longing look in that precious picture a while back when he was holding Shiloh and she wanted to grab the other little girls cookie. hahaha.

Cliniqua, I think this is the article I was referring to in another post responding to Me too…here is a portion of that post I wrote and this JA quote now helps clarify what I was referring to and responds to your notation on how bizarre to say such a thing when still married to Brad Pitt.

Clini…My speculation is JA was living in her “hell” because of the insecurities, jealousies and “wannabe a A- star” state of mind. My stance was that JA gambled by taking on movie parts she may not have had another chance to get and she lost her marriage in the gamble because the movies were flops and she lacked the talent. I now recall she also said something to the effect of the pressure of “living up to his popularity or reputation”, can’t remember the exact words.
Patsy if you are still around, do have references where JA was quoted?
