OlderSheryl Crow: “Wyatt is Now a Humanitarian!”
Sheryl Crow multi-tasks as she chats away on her cell phone whilst picking out jewelery in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The singer-songwriter just updated her official website about her and Wyatt making the cover of OK! Magazine.
“Hi Everyone! Well, as you no doubt have seen, Wyatt and I did our first, and probably only, photoshoot for a magazine. I have always made it a practice to keep my private life out of the public light but to be honest, I was being heavily stalked by photographers who wanted the get the “first shot.” And rather than have someone I don’t know sell a shot to a magazine, we accepted OK magazine’s offer to make a generous donation to an amazing organization called the World Food Program in Wyatt’s name.
So….Wyatt is now a humanitarian! Because he and I happened to catch an interview with Drew Barrymore on the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer about this organization, we were inspired to get involved with the WFP.
In a nutshell, this United Nations non-profit organization feeds millions of starving children at schools in third world countries as an incentive for them to attend school, which in turn might better their futures. They do so much more but I was so struck by this story that our relationship with the WFP was born, with the help of OK Magazine. Hope you enjoy!”

To someone, that is not true…people magazine themselves said the money goes to various organisations. The Jolie-Pitts did not take the money but ensured that it was distributed.

With a fan like this who needs enemies? God forbid anyone in the world with a slight connection to JA ever do anything charitable, why bother right? Lol plllls do not compare Sheryl to Angelina Jolie. Angelina goes where the plague is whereas Sheryl only donates. No comparison there. All hollywood stars donate but we never heard of it because they choose not to make it public. The day Sheryl will start globe trotting to the poor, third world countries to see for herself how bad life over there is ( Oprah did that, Angelina Jolie constantly does that) then yeh, you could say she’s a copycat.

Angelina Jolie did not invent adoption. Angelina Jolie did not invent donating money. It’s been done for hundreds of years. Get a grip.
Congratulations to Sheryl on becoming a mom and finally realizing this dream she’s been talking about for at least ten years. Glad she’s at a point in her life where she feels she’s well grounded and she’ll be a great mother.
She’s always been great about doing charity shows, making donations, and speaking up for what she believes in.

Some people here should probably go to the doctor and inquire if it’s unhealthy to be so darn rabid.
Of course Angelina & Brad didn’t invent any of those things, that’s not the point.
The POINT is, THAT is why it’s so ridiculous that Crow seems to think she has to make up the whole Drew Barrymore thing to basically do the same EXACT thing that Brad and Angelina did with their baby.
It’s silly to pretend she didn’t get clued up to do what she did from Brad & Angie.
Matter of fact, I think she’s even quoted Brad verbatim up top: ‘Why give the pic to someone who will make money off of it?…blah blah blah,’ she says — PLEASE…that is taken verbatim from Brad Pitt’s mouth. Hahaha!
All I’m saying is, she is going out of her way to assign influence elsewhere and all because of Jennifer Aniston and her weakness of character. She can’t do anything that might show she isn’t completely on ‘Team Aniston,’ now can she?. It’s just so BIZARRE the way these grown women act, like they’re in high school. GROW UP!
If those women hadn’t chosen sides to begin with and tried to ruin Brad, they wouldn’t be in the predicament of having to go all around the world and bend themselves into pretzels just to avoid not mentioning Brad and Angie’s names. It’s just soooo stupid, and soooo transparent.

…actually, Drew was heavily influenced and has great respect and admiration of Angelina…and she’ll gladly tell you so.

Jolie introduced her to Dr Jeffrey Sachs, and was working with Angie on a project in Kenya (what you refer to) at one time, it started with Drew’s reading ‘Notes from My Travels’ — there’s a great pic of her with book in hand talking to Angie.
Face it, there’s a reason why Jolie lands on The most Influential List of Time magazines twice in two years.
That’s why Crow seems a bit disingenuous and a little silly parrotting back Pitt’s words and actions. It comes across as very immature, and yeah, like she is maybe protecting Aniston, not wanting to seem like she has been so blatantly influenced by ‘Brangelina’s’ actions with their newborn.
But hey - good luck, congrats, and God bless.

You can’t expect Sheryl to say Jolie and Pitt inspired her; she’s Aniston’s mate. And after all she chose Drew’s organisation and she doesn’t need to justify herself about that. C’mon, be happy for her and the baby. She may choose to do like Jolie, but she will never be Jolie. I hope you won’t react this way when Aniston will have a baby and does what Sheryl did. She is copying Angie and Brad and they are the greatest humanitarians in HW, BUT she can’t admit that bacause poor talentless, ugly, aging, jobless, childless exsitcom hacks feelings would be hurt! Like I said, if she was honest I would give her credit, but now she made a joke of herself! Hey, can I be invited to the next pity party for the fugly !
