Hot off the heels of his trip around Europe, Jake Gyllenhaal enjoys a Sunday morning stroll with Papa Stephen in West Hollywood, Calif.
Earlier this month, Jake promoted his Palme d’Or-nominated film Zodiac at the Cannes Film Festival in France. The procedural thriller lost out to Romanian abortion drama 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days, written and directed by Cristian Mungiu.

Ppl keep saying his father is hot and I just do not see it. But I think Jake is adorable and the sexiest man who ever lived!!! LOL!!!!
I saw a picture of his mother when she was much younger and she is a beauty!!!! I think Jake looks like his Mother did at that age. His father is plain looking to me. I’m glad he is close to his family and seems to enjoy their company. I don’ty know if he is really dating Reese or if they are buddies and ppl have exaggerated the relationship. Personally, I’d rather see him with Natalie Portman who is also an amazingly beautiful, smart, talented, sweet person. A good match.
I agree Anon that Jake and Natalie would look good together but I think they’ve tried twice to give it a go and it just didn’t work out. I think Jake should date someone who’s not famous so he could have a real shot at a lasting relationship b/c these celeb couples don’t have a great track record

Natalie and Jake were in their teens when they last tried steady dating. They were “over” by the time he was 19 and she was 18. He was getting ready to quit Columbia and she was on her way to HArvard. I think they are both more settled now. She will be 26 in a couple of weeks and he will turn 27 in December.I think they both needed to find out things about themselves. I think they have a better understanding of who they are now. I read on some fansite that Jake adores her as a friend.
Who can say. They are both very very fond of each other and have known each other since early teens. I think 13 or 14.
