Brad is Back to Working Man Status
Brad Pitt looks like one Slick Rick on Tuesday on the Montreal set of his upcoming film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which tells the story of an odd romance that sparks between a woman (Cate Blanchett) of 30 and a man who, at 50, begins aging backwards.
Brad, 43, slapped on his prosthetic wrinkled mask and headed back to work, shooting scenes in his heavily made-up face.
Since he’s been busy at work filming his own movie, Angelina Jolie dropped off at school this morning in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is set for a May 2008 release.

Brad looks great. Read that this shoot will finally be over this week, after a 130+ days long shoot.

Well means he had not much say in the production dates. Usually powerfull actors arranged their schedule in order to not miss this kind of “important dates”. He couldn’t get out for Pax pick up and neither for shiloh’s birthday. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

It means that they are working parents that try there very best no to be seperated for long periods of time. However they are in a business where time is money and their time is not always there own so they maybe be seperated for a week or a couple of days. Brad is finshed taping by the end of the week. A week won’t kill them. Since Shilo is only 1 she isn’t even aware it is her birthday, she has a birthday or what exactly a birthday means. Before we get crazy here how do you know they didn’t celebrate her birthday early before Brad left? You wouldn’t know would you so why assume the worst?

The couple returned to their Prague residence - where Angelina is filming her new movie “Wanted” - for the special day with their four children, after a glamorous week at the Cannes Film Festival.
A source told Star magazine: “All these bright colored balloons were delivered to the house. They were planning a big party.
“Brad was planning to video it, he always tapes everything.”
Brad’s parents and brother Doug were expected to join the family in Prague for the celebrations and Angelina’s brother James Haven was also said to be in attendance.

Brad is being paid US$ 25m plus plus for doing BB, and he cant afford to be absent from filming or cause further delays as it will further bloat the prodcution costs. He is a professional, just like Angie who is alos paid well in Wanted, US17m, her asking price now.
Both movies have over US$ 100m prodcution budget. Thats how hot this couple are these days!

For a festival celebrating its 60th year, the Cannes Film Festival proved mighty frisky. Sure, a handful of the 21 international titles in competition were dolorous arthouse tush-testers – but enough films pleased, entertained and touched a viewer that Cannes 2007 turned out to be memorable.
This year’s top prize, handed out on Sunday night as the 12-day festival in this resort town on the French Riviera ended, went to 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, an emotionally wrenching Romanian drama about a woman helping a friend seek an illegal abortion in the waning days of the Communist regime. It’s expected to open in the U.S. later this year or next.
Two American filmmakers won major prizes: Artist-turned-director Julian Schnabel was named best director for his French-language film, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. It’s a visually stunning drama based on a memoir by Jean-Dominique Bauby, a successful French magazine editor who, after suffering a massive stroke at age 43, could communicate only by blinking a single eyelid.
And director Gus Van Sant, a Cannes regular, took home a special prize for Paranoid Park, his wispy drama about a teenage skateboarding enthusiast who accidentally kills a man. The Cannes jury said it was awarding the prize for Van Sant’s total body of work.
Here’s my personal scorecard on movies either competing or premiering at the festival:
Winners:
• Ocean’s Thirteen: The third chapter in the George Clooney-Brad Pitt-Matt Damon caper series is fast, funny and über-cool, adding up to a crowd-pleasing bit of sleek fluff. It opens wide June 8.
• A Might Heart: Angelina Jolie peels away the glamour to give a controlled, moving performance in a documentary-like drama about Mariane Pearl, the wife of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. It opens June 22.
• No Country For Old Men: Ethan and Joel Coen, the sibling directing duo behind Fargo, return to top form with a bittersweet crime drama based on a Cormac McCarthy novel. Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem star. It opens in November.
• Sicko: Director-provocateur Michael Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11) delivers another hugely entertaining documentary, this one targeting the ailing U.S. healthcare industry. Expect his film, due June 29, to jumpstart debate on the issue in the upcoming Presidential race.
Losers:
• Paranoid Park: Okay, so it won a prize. Big deal. As in his other recent films, Van Sant here focuses on a good-looking, mumbling youth dumber than a bag of hammers. He fails to make viewers understand why we should care about this kid.
• My Blueberry Nights: While as gorgeously lush as his previous arthouse hit, In the Mood for Love, Hong Kong-based director Wong Kar Wai’s first English language film suffers from a crushingly banal script. And singer Norah Jones proves a ho-hum leading lady. It also stars Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz.
Title That Had Me Laughing Hardest:
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead: Can’t say I bothered to see this no-budget screamer from Troma Inc. (a production company specializing in cheapie exploitation films) but I sure do love the title.
I read on one of AJ’s fan sites that she is slated to finish the Prague leg of her shoot on Friday (the Chicago portion is near the end of July). She and the kids will then be flying back to LA to be with Brad. I would assume if they haven’t already had a party then will be the official birthday party for Shiloh with family and friends.
If BB didn’t have these final couple of days to shoot he would still be in Prague with his family waiting for AJ to finish up. BB has been an extremely long shoot and with this being the final week it coincided with the ending of AJ’s Prague schedule…don’t pay attention to those who want to make it what it isn’t. There’s a big difference between being apart for 4 or 5 days than being apart for several months. A week seems to be all these two can manage being apart anyway :)
It looks like brad had flown to montreal probably sunday night after Shiloh’s b-day celeb. The pics above were taken May 29. There is no pic of him last friday or Saturday in montreal. what giof/inf shown on last friday’s pics were only the production staff. If there is, how come no site has published it and Brad’s pic wasnt even shown in theie main board.
I know there was a troll the other board who keeps on sying that brad was there and Us weekly had bought the pics. Unless there is a proof, I think Brad was in Prague last week-end.
I am amazed at how people have not yet gotten over the fact that Brad and Jennifer are no longer together. It is like this happened to them personally. Get a life of your own and stop living through them. Jennifer looks great and Brad & Ange look great. They are moving on maybe all of you should also.

Well, Angie’s birthday is on Monday and I read on another thread someone gave insight (which is turning out to be true since they reported that Brad is in Montreal) that the Jolie-Pitts had planned to celebrate Shiloh & Angelina’s birthday together. Which makes sense to me because grant it Shiloh is one year old baby it’s not like she going to remember that they did not celebrate her birthday on her actual date of birth, hell some people celebrate their birthday days before or later due to their date not falling on a weekend.
It’s not a big deal. Shiloh will have plenty of photos to see in the future from her first birthday cake and celebration with her mommy, daddy and siblings next week.

Ive seen 2 video footages, that George was talking to Angie and Brad seems to ignore him. One in the red carpet, when George was being interviewed and B&A passed by, he talked to Angie and she smiled, but Brad continued to drag her. Another instance, inside the theater on they way out after the screening, George talked to Angie and Brad just dragged her and continued to walk. It seemed to me also that Gerry weintrub wanted to hug Angie after the screening, coz he hugged everyone of the cast, but George stopped him.
So, i dont know whats going on with them, but Brad seems so possessive of Angelina during the O13 premiere.

Do you actually think that she would stand there and take that crap from any man? NOT ! Not even Mr. Pitt. He does have a bit of an ego but there are other things about him that are fantastic. I’m quite sure Angie can be that way sometimes. Angie was being very agressive for some reason. She was trying to prove a point. But he was also groping and kissing her in the theatre and looking for her and all over her too. He was just a bit smoother with his. He knew when the camera was on them and she just flat out didn’t care. That is just her. She has explained the differences in them before and you haters are not that dumb.YOu look for anything, and little move to say he doesn’t want her or she doesn’t want him. Now it’s he wasn’t there for a B’day. My first ? will be HOW DO YOU KNOW??? Give it a break. SHe’s a **** because they were making out in a limo. He was the one who jumped her. What does that make him? I’ve read several reports stating how they were out and about in Cannes a dinner w/ MP and a party w/GC making out like a couple of teenagers. He was more for it because there were no cameras. My only fault with Brad is that he likes to play games with the media and tries to play this role in front of cameras. That will not cut it for me or Angie long Buddy. That’s just being fake in my opinion. I know he doesn’t want to swap spit on the red carpet and neither does she, but people tend to get bit by their own games with the press.

It probably means the same thing as when Angie was filming AMH and Brad had to leave and do press/premiere work for Babel. Or maybe when AJ was pregnant and Brad went to the Dominican Republic for a work meeting/venture. Just like then, he was away from his family for a few days versus the opposite where both spend weeks/months away from each other and their kids. When that happens, you may have a theory to spin.
Basically, for the understanding impaired, it appears the two of them have made a commitment to have their family together as much as possible. There will be times when they have to be away from each other…the difference though seems that those times are few and for limited time spans.

I hope I don’t sound like I am preaching but the bottom line is no one knows where they celebrated, when, with whom unless we see any pictures or they decide to share it.
What I do know is, lets say if Brad took a 6pm flight on Sunday from Prague and it is a 9 hour flight to Canada, he would arrive at 3 am early Monday right, WRONG. He would arrive at 9 pm Sunday night since there is a 6 hour difference. All this is hypothetical, the HAPPY family will let us know when and if they want to share :-) So why bother.

The seven (7) hours time difference is a lot. Anyone with a brain can figure that out.
If you hate them, stop reading now. Because I’m going to describe to you what it was like, and how impossible it was not to get turned on by the Pitt Porn, their chemistry on the carpet, whatever it was that was going on between them was infectious. So I’m going to bring it, every sickening detail and if you can’t stand them already, you are going to hate them even more. Warning, skip to the next.
First…can you believe Angelina Jolie didn’t wear black? Or gray? It was yellow, it was Ungaro and Chopard and while I wasn’t all that crazy about the dress itself, the dress on HER was unbelievable. I mean she just POPPED, you know?
So is she thin? Of course she’s thin. She’s very, very thin. But at the same time, when she’s standing there in person, it’s not… it doesn’t take away from anything either. You don’t look at her and say – man that **** is gross, take it away and give it an avocado because it’s hurting my eyes. And I’m sorry for that. I genuinely apologise. I’m honestly sorry that I can’t tell you that she’s so skinny that she’s become ugly. Because that simply hasn’t happened.
Would she be even more beautiful with a little more meat? Absolutely, undeniably so. Angelina Jolie 15 heavier probably would have shut down the Croisette and caused a complete meltdown. Angelina Jolie at 50% however is still better than anyone else on their best day…she is a goddess.
And it was like this yesterday – the calm before the storm.
The fans shouted for everyone, the crowd went crazy for the boys, but before Angelina and Brad showed up there was a moment, really quick, almost imperceptible, when you could hear a pin drop – figuratively I suppose looking back – and then … total f&cking pandemonium.
And not entirely un-encouraged either. Oh yeah they worked it. There was seriously a little something extra about those two last night. She especially worked it hard. And she has not posed like that in a long, long time. The photographers were going mad – I spoke to a couple last night, they’ve seen her several times before and they confirmed: “oh she gave us everything we needed last night for sure”… in her own way, of course – I mean she’s not Victoria Beckham or anything but she was generous with her angles, she did what they wanted, she gave them their shots, she gave her dress its due.
But the best… the best is that Brad was watching while she had her moment. I’m telling you, that was the beginning. The rest of the night was like porn for me. A pervy but rather endearing smile played at the corners of his lips, then he put his arm around her again and his hand immediately shot down to her ass – you know how it likes to hover there? They did their thing together, he rejoined the boys for a few laps, and just as they headed into the theatre, as soon as they were off the red steps, she put her hand on the back of his neck and shoved her fingers into his hair – am embarrassed to admit this but I quivered a little. And she kept doing it all night.
And still their arrival was nothing compared to the departure. No idea what they were doing in that screening but by the time they came out, as they were descending the steps of the Palais, whatever was going on between them was even more palpable. These are the shots I’m attaching. Am now convinced she was probably c*ckteasing him all night in the auditorium because I’m telling you, these two just wanted to get home. They got into the car, they couldn’t get close enough together, and his hand immediately shot over to her thigh.
Trust me…we all saw it. Everyone saw it. And you remember that story way back when they first got together? About them in Africa at some hotel and the sounds of their lovemaking so ferocious the guards came running? And then they got all boring and had babies?
Yeah well the jungle sex phase is back.

ITA. He was very clear as to how happy and satisfied he is at this time in his life. He was very proud of Angelina in all their appearances in Cannes.
They were both dignified at the AMH premiere while staying in constant touch with each other.
Angelina was glowing and happy to be by his side at the O13 premiere which she attended to support him. Brad was happy and barely took his eyes off Angelina and almost always kept his arm around her in one way or another. He was more affectionate with her than any of his O13 costars-MattD and his wife, DonC and his wife, StevenS and his wife, etc. He spendt as much of his time with Angelina on the red carpet as he did with his other costars.
I just do not see any actions Brad took at the O13 premiere that anyone could see as negative toward Angelina. If anything they both were more open with the love they have for each other than ever before.
Brad is not Billy Bob, He does not have to display what they do behind closed doors out on the red Carpet.

In the VF interview.. I also thought she was refering to the fact that he hit the ground running. they decided to call it off together.. she was a little broken up over it and he went right into the M&MS publicity tour and suddenly he is free to do what he wants and there Angie and Mad are.. and he took the opportunity to start a relationship. I think she was hurt that he didn’t mourn the end of their relationship longer. It looked bad.. it implied something more was going on there even if it was untrue. Plus the W photo spread which was a great concept and executed perfectly but was timed horribly with the break up and the rumors.
Then she moved on with Vince..but the media and the public already had grabbed on to their favorite dead horse and they are still whipping it.

This morning someone posted an article from the washington post about US Weekly and their new mission of truth, great article. I love that us weekly is doing that because it just show how lame all tabloids are (of course us included) since they started doing so, janice min has become a celebrity in her own, doing interview left and right and trying to explain how the “vince proposes” cover was true. Tabloids are grasping for anything right now and the fact that their whole inner battle has became so PUBLIC only give us the public, a better view on how these lame publications lie to make a dollar.

CANNES, France, May 22 We’re invited to what the publicists describe as “an intimate press conference” with Angelina Jolie. They don’t have to ask twice. Jolie walks into the seaside bungalow at the Hotel du Cap looking very movie star, very glamorous, very “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” thin as a razor, a pair of golden aviator sunglasses perched on her head and bronze Christian Louboutin heels. Dressed to Cannes.
One of the dozen reporters begins by asking who she is wearing, then jokes that they never ask the guys that.
“Except for Brad,” Jolie says, laughing, flashing the big teeth, and thereby signaling that she is not unhappy to be here. That this could be okay. That we are not here with the icy distant planet Jolie, that actress who recently has appeared through the lens to be inscrutable, so wrapped in wrapping that she is unwrappable, just physically recoiling from the media’s need to feed on any bit of exposed flesh, the relationship with Brad Pitt, the serial international adoptions, the baby-birthing in Africa, the globe-trotting Hollywood do-gooderisms, etc., etc.
Jolie is at the Cannes Film Festival to promote “A Mighty Heart,” a small-budget project produced by Pitt (also here, for “Ocean’s Thirteen”) about the life and death of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter. The movie (a love story, a thriller, a police procedural) is told from the harrowing perspective of his wife, Mariane Pearl, whom Jolie portrays in the weeks between his disappearance in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2002 and his terrible end by beheading, which was captured on video. The film has been warmly received by the critics at Cannes, and they have praised Jolie and British director Michael Winterbottom for their restraint, for not turning the movie into a movie about Angelina Jolie. (Nor is the beheading shown; it is witnessed through the reactions of actors seeing the tape. Nor is Jolie’s French accent a distraction.)
And her celebrity, it helps? “I would love to think it’s a help, but sometimes it can be a distraction. With a subject matter and a character like Mariane, it has to be handled so carefully,” Jolie says. “Because sometimes I’m so public in so many other ways, it could have hurt. I’m very conscious of that, more than feeling confident it would help. But now the film is made and we’re very proud of it. I’m glad to do everything I can to bring attention to it.”
Jolie recalls her three visits to Pakistan on humanitarian and refugee missions for the United Nations. The film depicts a complex Pakistan, beset by layers of intrigue, by anti-American jihadists, terrorists and their sympathizers, by corrupt officials, by double-dealers, but also people truly trying to help, including a Pakistani anti-terrorism captain who first appears to be a bad guy, then a good guy, who also tortures suspects to find Pearl.
“We’ll see if I get my next visa to Pakistan,” says Jolie, who continues: “It’s a very balanced film,” and “I have a love for that part of the world and I’m very sad how much every day it is breaking apart.”
The film contains scenes of the actor playing Daniel Pearl, Dan Futterman (who was nominated for an Oscar for his “Capote” screenplay), that were shot in Karachi, portrayed as a chaotic megacity of great poverty and brutality, yet with moments of humanity and grace. Jolie did not work in Pakistan for the film (it was too dangerous, Winterbottom says), but shot her scenes in India, which serves as a stand-in for the site of the house-headquarters where Mariane Pearl and her colleagues gathered to await news of the reporter’s fate. Pitt joined Jolie in India. “He’s a really good producer,” she says, “and he also spent most of the time at the hotel with our three kids, being an even better father.”
What does Jolie hope for the film? “I think there is a bigger message. I think we’re at a time in our lives where there is so much fear and there is so much anger and it’s hard for people to calm down enough to have a dialogue about finding solutions, and I think she, Mariane, is a great example of that because she, under the most extraordinary circumstances, remained very focused on having sympathy for the other side, even after what they did to her husband.” Jolie continues, “She said a few days after her husband was killed that she loved Pakistan.”
Jolie met with Mariane Pearl many times and says they have become friends.
“This story and this time is something everybody remembers, even studio heads; they actually care about it. They care about Danny Pearl and they care about Mariane,” Jolie says. “And even when we came to publicity, nobody asked for anything silly and nobody pushed.”
And that is the atmosphere here at the Hotel du Cap for the minutes we spend with Jolie. Nobody asks about Brangelina. We ask if the Pakistani captain who ferreted out Pearl’s killers had seen the film? “He saw it last night,” Winterbottom says, “and said it was like reliving it.” Jolie wonders whether we should put that in the newspaper and Winterbottom says it is fine. We like that Jolie is concerned about his safety.
She says she will finish up a film now shooting in Prague (the thriller “Wanted,” with Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy), and that soon she and Pitt plan to take a year off. She will keep flying planes. She just got instrument-rated and Pitt now has a pilot’s license. She says she takes precautions in her travels but will continue to see and experience the world. She might even learn how to cook. “I’ll say to Brad I’d like to make us some eggs,” Jolie says, “and he says don’t.”

BBT said things that should never have been uttered that people keep attributing to Angelina and he did not care at all how it would affect Angelina as he was a selfish person who was concerned only with his wants and needs. Angelina’s wants and needs did not matter to BBT.
Angelina has since said that “she said and acted certain ways with BBT because he was her husband and he wanted her to do so and it made him happy”. BBT did not give a dam* about Angelina the person, all he wanted was a “wild hot young thing” that he could bragg about and puff his scrawny chest out with the guys. When Angelina began to grow up and mature and adopted Maddox and became a mother BBT walked out in a naonsecond and never looked back. Brad values Angelina, BBT most certainly did not.

I posted this on the other thread but what I would like to know is howpeople will take pieces of videos and come to the conclusion that he is dissing her. Do you actually think that she would stand there and take that **** from any man? NOT ! Not even Mr. Pitt. He does have a bit of an ego but there are other things about him that are fantastic. I’m quite sure Angie can be that way sometimes. Angie was being very agressive for some reason. She was trying to prove a point. Well, evidently there are some no-brain trolls posting on this blog, insisting that if Brad was in Montreal on Sunday, he must have missed Shiloh’s birthday, therefore he doesn’t love Shiloh, therefore he’s about to leave Angie, yadda yadda yadda.
Obviously, nobody can be in two places at the same time — but given the seven hour time differential, he could very well have been at Shi’s party if it was held early in the day (appropriate for one-year-olds) and be in Montreal the same evening.
Even if he had to miss Shi’s birthday party due to contractual obligations, it doesn’t mean zilch. He couldn’t go with Angie to Vietnam to bring Pax home because he had to work, so the trolls started saying he never wanted Pax to begin with.
I don’t think the haters are ever going to give it up. Hating Brad and Angie has become the sole meaning for their existence.
What a pathetic lot they are. They’ll probably spend the rest of their lives fat, bitter and alone.

Besides, their appeal is timeless. You don’t have to be either Angelina or Brad’s age to appreciate the heat. For example, the main reason why I liked the fight scene in MAMS is because it reminded me of that ticklish age when your mom or dad gently suggests that you shouldn’t wrestle with boys anymore. Cannes sort of reminded me of prom - you know, that couple that wanted to go straight to the hotel instead to the actual festivity. Or maybe, that first boyfriend that pulls away from you because he’s afraid that his unfurled flag(pole) may freak you out. ;)
These negative posters have to be paid trolls. No self-respecting person would subject themselves to pain by going on the thread of somebody they despise. Not once but continuously even upstaging most of the fans by being first in a new thread. You’re just making who you hate even more popular by all your hits.
If you really are just embittered fans of someone else, then you really are not very normal in persisting to be masochistic. Such a bad reflection on your idol. Makes people think she is likewise if she attracts this kind of fans.
Fans on this thread have all the right to be adoring of Brad and Angie. They are on their thread. They also have the right to defend them vigorously on their turf.
Let’s be patient Jolie Pitt fans. This negativity is to be expected. Our favourite couple ruled the red carpet in Cannes, shined professionally, showed that they are not only respected but well-liked by their peers and to top it off gave us a glimpse of their passion and chemistry.
We saw that separate and apart from their children, they have a lot going on as a couple.
While all of this put smiles and grins on our faces, it was bound to bring out the bile and venom in others, driving them to accusations of missing birthdays and kisses being snubbed.
After such a week of triumph we should try (try being the operative word) to be charitable.

Ive seen 2 video footages, that George was talking to Angie and Brad seems to ignore him. One in the red carpet, when George was being interviewed and B&A passed by, he talked to Angie and she smiled, but Brad continued to drag her. Another instance, inside the theater on they way out after the screening, George talked to Angie and Brad just dragged her and continued to walk. It seemed to me also that Gerry weintrub wanted to hug Angie after the screening, coz he hugged everyone of the cast, but George stopped him.
So, i dont know whats going on with them, but Brad seems so possessive of Angelina during the O13 premiere.

Brad is being paid US$ 25m plus plus for doing BB, and he cant afford to be absent from filming or cause further delays as it will further bloat the prodcution costs. He is a professional, just like Angie who is alos paid well in Wanted, US17m, her asking price now.
Both movies have over US$ 100m prodcution budget. Thats how hot this couple are these days!

Actually it’s not, because Brad stands to make more than $25MIL on CCOBB. His deal is either $25MIL or points - whichever is greater. I’m not sure how many points he got on this movie, but if it’s the same as M&MS - IIRC I read that he got something like 10% of the B.O. GROSS + a percentage of DVD sales. Nice work if you can get it.

According to a survey conducted by the medical firm Benenden Healthcare Society, of the 1,000 men questioned, more than one in four picked Pitt as the celeb with the best bod, the UK’s Mirror reported.

I for one do not believe for a MINUTE that Angie or Brad would take a year off for their family. They are way to money$$ and career obsessed. Yeah sure baby….I’ll only beieve it when I see it. She is obsessed with getting good publicity.
