Brad is Back to Working Man Status
Brad Pitt looks like one Slick Rick on Tuesday on the Montreal set of his upcoming film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which tells the story of an odd romance that sparks between a woman (Cate Blanchett) of 30 and a man who, at 50, begins aging backwards.
Brad, 43, slapped on his prosthetic wrinkled mask and headed back to work, shooting scenes in his heavily made-up face.
Since he’s been busy at work filming his own movie, Angelina Jolie dropped off at school this morning in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is set for a May 2008 release.

If I was Brad, I would love myself too… achieving the ‘impossible’; creating a loving family with ‘wild child’ Jolie, balancing work and job responsibilities, keeping the flame going between his woman and himself; and producing another small film, besides God Grew Tired of Us, that could be in contention for Oscar.

Brangelina Celebrate Shiloh’s First Birthday

Prague, Czech Republic (BANG) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had hundreds of balloons delivered for daughter Shiloh’s first birthday on Sunday.
The couple returned to their Prague residence - where Angelina is filming her new movie “Wanted” - for the special day with their four children, after a glamorous week at the Cannes Film Festival.
A source told Star magazine: “All these bright colored balloons were delivered to the house. They were planning a big party.
“Brad was planning to video it, he always tapes everything.”
Brad’s parents and brother Doug were expected to join the family in Prague for the celebrations and Angelina’s brother James Haven was also said to be in attendance

Do you remember at all Paramount shutting down production on TCCOBB for 2 weeks so Brad could be with Angie during the period her mother passed away or are you just pretending not to remember? We are talking about a movie production where hundreds of scheudles have to be re-arranged. Where hundreds of people work not a school play. They are not going to shut down production so Brad can attend a 1 year old birthday party, lets all use a little common sense here.

Production for Benjamin didn’t stopped, they were working on other scenes that didn’t inlcude Pitt. Studios only shut down production when the main actor or director dies.

Brad and angie is going to ahve a big party in LA to celebrate shiloh and Angie’s bday! Its going to be held just in time for 013 premiere, so most of Brad’s castmates will attend.

Brad is being paid US$ 25m plus plus for doing BB, and he cant afford to be absent from filming or cause further delays as it will further bloat the prodcution costs. He is a professional, just like Angie who is alos paid well in Wanted, US17m, her asking price now.

The people baiting posters on this board are seriously mental. Seek therapy. There is no way Brad missed Shiloh birthday. He even said in Canne that their youngest birthday was Sunday, and the entire family would be celebrating it. That’s when Don Cheadle said “strippers”. He is a devoted dad and partner and he wouldn’t miss any of his kids birthday. JMO.
It’s not that hard to figure out why he has to go work for a few days
1. TCCOBB is a huge budget movie.
2. He got off nearly 2 weeks after Angelina’s Mom died.
3. He is a pro and knows he is getting paid tons for this. He can’t shut down production again.
Also, please don’t believe Star magazine. Even if tabloids say something nice - doesn’t make it true. They are the same ones who wrote blatant lies about Brad and Angelina after the 013 premier.

Cannes Diary: Thumbs Up for Ocean’s Thirteen

For a festival celebrating its 60th year, the Cannes Film Festival proved mighty frisky. Sure, a handful of the 21 international titles in competition were dolorous arthouse tush-testers – but enough films pleased, entertained and touched a viewer that Cannes 2007 turned out to be memorable.
This year’s top prize, handed out on Sunday night as the 12-day festival in this resort town on the French Riviera ended, went to 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, an emotionally wrenching Romanian drama about a woman helping a friend seek an illegal abortion in the waning days of the Communist regime. It’s expected to open in the U.S. later this year or next.
Two American filmmakers won major prizes: Artist-turned-director Julian Schnabel was named best director for his French-language film, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. It’s a visually stunning drama based on a memoir by Jean-Dominique Bauby, a successful French magazine editor who, after suffering a massive stroke at age 43, could communicate only by blinking a single eyelid.
And director Gus Van Sant, a Cannes regular, took home a special prize for Paranoid Park, his wispy drama about a teenage skateboarding enthusiast who accidentally kills a man. The Cannes jury said it was awarding the prize for Van Sant’s total body of work.
Here’s my personal scorecard on movies either competing or premiering at the festival:
Winners:
• Ocean’s Thirteen: The third chapter in the George Clooney-Brad Pitt-Matt Damon caper series is fast, funny and über-cool, adding up to a crowd-pleasing bit of sleek fluff. It opens wide June 8.
• A Might Heart: Angelina Jolie peels away the glamour to give a controlled, moving performance in a documentary-like drama about Mariane Pearl, the wife of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. It opens June 22.
• No Country For Old Men: Ethan and Joel Coen, the sibling directing duo behind Fargo, return to top form with a bittersweet crime drama based on a Cormac McCarthy novel. Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem star. It opens in November.
• Sicko: Director-provocateur Michael Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11) delivers another hugely entertaining documentary, this one targeting the ailing U.S. healthcare industry. Expect his film, due June 29, to jumpstart debate on the issue in the upcoming Presidential race.
Losers:
• Paranoid Park: Okay, so it won a prize. Big deal. As in his other recent films, Van Sant here focuses on a good-looking, mumbling youth dumber than a bag of hammers. He fails to make viewers understand why we should care about this kid.
• My Blueberry Nights: While as gorgeously lush as his previous arthouse hit, In the Mood for Love, Hong Kong-based director Wong Kar Wai’s first English language film suffers from a crushingly banal script. And singer Norah Jones proves a ho-hum leading lady. It also stars Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz.
Title That Had Me Laughing Hardest:
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead: Can’t say I bothered to see this no-budget screamer from Troma Inc. (a production company specializing in cheapie exploitation films) but I sure do love the title.
I read on one of AJ’s fan sites that she is slated to finish the Prague leg of her shoot on Friday (the Chicago portion is near the end of July). She and the kids will then be flying back to LA to be with Brad. I would assume if they haven’t already had a party then will be the official birthday party for Shiloh with family and friends.
If BB didn’t have these final couple of days to shoot he would still be in Prague with his family waiting for AJ to finish up. BB has been an extremely long shoot and with this being the final week it coincided with the ending of AJ’s Prague schedule…don’t pay attention to those who want to make it what it isn’t. There’s a big difference between being apart for 4 or 5 days than being apart for several months. A week seems to be all these two can manage being apart anyway :)
It looks like brad had flown to montreal probably sunday night after Shiloh’s b-day celeb. The pics above were taken May 29. There is no pic of him last friday or Saturday in montreal. what giof/inf shown on last friday’s pics were only the production staff. If there is, how come no site has published it and Brad’s pic wasnt even shown in theie main board.
I know there was a troll the other board who keeps on sying that brad was there and Us weekly had bought the pics. Unless there is a proof, I think Brad was in Prague last week-end.
I am amazed at how people have not yet gotten over the fact that Brad and Jennifer are no longer together. It is like this happened to them personally. Get a life of your own and stop living through them. Jennifer looks great and Brad & Ange look great. They are moving on maybe all of you should also.
