Brad Pitt has some fun on a rundown scooter on the Montreal set of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on Tuesday.
Pitt was spotted out of costume earlier on in the day looking like one cool dude. The father-of-four also waved a big hello to fans and passersby, as he filmed scenes with a newspaper in hand.

So may be after that they going back together. I don’t know.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie put on a brave face for the cameras at the Cannes Film Festival at one point making out for the cameras in the back seat of an awaiting car to try and show that they are not on their way to a split. But reports continue to dog Brangelina that they are unhappy and are headed for splitsville. A report from Now Magazine claims that Jolie is ready to adopt another tot and the message is that the kids may be the only thing holding the pair together.

The report notes that their four children – Maddox, five, Pax Thien, three, Zahara, two and Shiloh, one, must be quite a handful but Angelina is said to be already planning the adoption of another child.

Angelina, 31, is reported to have blurted out to one interviewer who asked about their relationship: ‘So many parents today do separate and they still have a commitment to the children.’ And a source tells the Daily Mail: ‘If they look unhappy it is because they are.’
They did have a rough time with a Kid Rock party, where reportedly he was asked to turn down the music as he was disturbing Angelina in the middle of the night. Kid Rock wouldn’t do it and management sent up earplugs to the Jolie-Pitt clan, reports claimed.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a long time. This trashy news always wants to fool us fans of Angelina and Brad. I’ve been a long time fan of Angelina and the things I read about her (the legit ones) says so much truth about her as a person. My impression is she won’t stay in a relationship if there is a major problems bet. her and her partner. It does not matter if there are children, we know that these children will be taken care of no matter what. So if the realtionship is really on the the bad side, Angelina will get out of this relationship. This is so pathetic!
It really makes me think that People definitely has an exclusive and US Weekly is trying to scoop them. Just look at US’s recent covers - weight loss stories, baby pics of the B-List, etc. all of which are People’s trademarks.
I want to laugh at this, but their use of Shiloh’s pic feels a lot like Madame Trussaad’s wax figure of Shiloh… it’s just creepy and I don’t trust their motivations for shining their spotlight on her.
Mind you, this is the perfect time for those with Photoshop/collage skills to juxtapose all of the erroneous US covers about the J-Ps with this current cover, starting with that December 2005 issue claiming that Angelina was taking prenatal vitamins in order to assist in conception with the recent ‘The Final Insult: Shiloh was planned’ issue.

The shoes, called Heelys, are a brand of sneakers, under the company Heelys, Inc. that have one or more wheels embedded in each sole, similarly to inline skates. Thus, the wearer can walk, run, or - by shifting their weight to their heels - roll.
A source revealed that Jolie will be sporting a pair made especially for her in the big-budget sci-fi thriller Wanted, in which she plays a hitwoman.
“Ange is really under pressure preparing for this film. She is learning three different martial arts for the action sequences and will have to take on a serious fitness regime to build up her muscles. She is also facing the prospect of learning how to spin around on Heelys,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
Jolie, who beat ‘Bootylicious’ Beyonce to the role, will be playing the lead opposite Scots star James McAvoy and veteran Hollywood hero Morgan Freeman in the action flick.
Filming for the flick starts in Prague in June this year. (ANI)

Moscow in winter, period Paris - our city shows its versatility for Brad Pitt shoot

It seems a little odd that director David Fincher would choose to come to Montreal in late May to shoot scenes of Moscow in winter. But that’s just another quirk of the movie biz, said Bill Doyle, supervising location manager for the big-budget Brad Pitt flick The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Fincher is having Montreal stand in for both Moscow and Paris.
On the phone from the Benjamin Button set in Old Montreal late last week, Doyle said the shoot is happening here now because the filmmakers weren’t able to interrupt filming in New Orleans this winter, when Montreal was actually covered in snow. They will be manufacturing fake snow for the wintery Russian scenes.
The New Orleans leg of the ambitious production lasted from early November to early March, followed by two months of studio work in Los Angeles. The original F. Scott Fitzgerald short story, which was adapted by Oscar-winning Forrest Gump scribe Eric Roth, is set in Baltimore, but the producers switched the setting to New Orleans because they felt it would be easier - and cheaper - to work in Louisiana. Pitt stars alongside Cate Blanchett, Julia Ormond and Tilda Swinton in this story of a 50-year-old man (Pitt) who begins aging backwards.
Doyle, who has been scouting locations for Benjamin Button for three years, said Montreal was always on the filmmakers’ short list because they felt it would be an ideal place to stand in for snow-covered Moscow, as well as Paris in the 1940s. Filming in Paris and Moscow was ruled out early on because it would have been too expensive.
“New Orleans is a great city, but it’s not Paris,” Doyle said. “It doesn’t look like it. When you think about where you’re going to go (to shoot Europe in North America), it’s either Quebec City or Old Montreal, and Quebec City has its issues, including a lot of it being on hills. Paris is not known to be a very hilly city. So here we are in Old Montreal.”
Old Montreal is perfect for period Paris, but Doyle admitted it’s a bit more of a stretch for Moscow.
“You have to be a little more picky because the architectural style is much more ornate, thanks to the French architects who built Old Montreal, and then even the English, who came in afterward, kept with that same flavour,” Doyle said. “Russia, you have to go a little more banal, which is a little harder to do here.”
Last Wednesday, the filmmakers had done their best to make Vaudreuil St. - a one-block street off St. Paul St. near Place Jacques Cartier - look like Paris in the ’40s, complete with vintage black Parisian-style taxis and period Citroens.
The crew had stretched a huge piece of silk fabric above the street, laying it on aluminum beams connecting the buildings on either side. It was an attempt to reduce reflections and shadows caused by the sunlight.
A few days before the shoot, several condo owners who were unhappy with these beams being placed on their roofs sent a letter of complaint to the production.
Doyle admitted that the film team didn’t successfully get all the information about the structure to the people living in the buildings. When he saw the letter, Doyle called a meeting with the residents on Tuesday evening. He brought along his engineers to show why they felt the pylons were safe and would not damage the roofs. At the meeting, Doyle agreed to extend the insurance policy the producers had taken out on the roof to last a full year. The producers paid the two condo associations for using their property (Doyle would not reveal the amount of the payment).
He said he takes these complaints seriously. “This is definitely very uncommon. As I explained to them, in 22 years of doing this, there is no place that I’ve shot that I can’t go back to and shoot again. So it’s important to me that they come away with a positive experience, and it’s very unfortunate that so far some of them have not.”
The Old Montreal filming - and the entire Benjamin Button shoot - will wrap Wednesday, after more than 130 days of production. The budget is reported to be $150 million U.S.

The more I think about it, the more creeped out I’m getting.
There is a niche market that features babies/small children on their covers - Parents, etc. but on an entertainment magazine? The most recent People cover featured a pic of Madeleine, that missing toddler. And think back on other covers featuring children, sans parents: Alex and Michael Smith (Susan Smith’s victims), baby Jessica (fell down a well), Baby M (1st test-tube baby), any set of quad-quint-sex tuplets or multiple births.
US Mag is making a freak show of Shiloh for no other reason than that they can! JMO!

Melbourne, May 28 (ANI): American actress Angelina Jolie is reportedly set for a guest appearance in the upcoming flick, Confessions of an Action Star.
The film revolves around the journey of a male stripper turned composite action star Frank Sledge.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, real action stars will appear in cameos in the genre spoof.
A, B and C-list actors will be playing themselves as Frank’s fictional cronies, who watch his rise to mega fame.
Other stars to appear in the film are rumoured to be American film/stage actor Eric Roberts and Matrix co-stars Hugo Weaving and Carrie Anne-Moss. (ANI)

Alexanderina - it does appear that way if this is to be believed (and everything else they reported about his time of arrival etc. seems to be accurate). Pics of Angie dropping Z and Pax at playschool today could support that too - she is looking a little ‘fuller’ up top lately.
All I can say is that I would be thrilled to see them have another child by spring 2008. Poor Angie though - she was pregnant while filming The Good Shephard and now may have to go through the same ordeal while filming Wanted. Can’t be easy to film with morning sickness etc.

I’ve all along thought that Angie’s “year off” will possibly be spent pregnant. A little early to think she already is, as we saw her drinking wine the past few weeks. That’s what I am saying. Brad was George’s main running buddy, they pretty much were free to run around together when ever they wanted to, and now Brad is not. Brad has changed, and George has not. Just like George saying that he was sitting at the bar on the O13 set surrounded by kids in diapers, having a vodka. Yes a joke, but also some truth that he recognizes that others, specifically Brad and also Matt have changed their priorites.
Also wasn’t George quoted somewhere as saying Brad could come to his home in Italy but that Brad couldn’t bring his 15 kids?
I do not believe that there is any problem whatsoever between Brad and George. They are both navigating their new realities. Cannes was the first opprotunity for all to see just how much Brad values Angelina and the kids and has made them his main priority. It’s sort of like how Warren Beatty changed after he fell in love with ABenning. It requires an adjustment, but it’s all good.

Mind you, I haven’t visited the E site in a long time and quite frankly, there’s nothing compelling me to go there.
And remember… E didn’t get the access to Brad, Angelina, George and the rest of the O13 cast like other entertainment outlets. And you all know how E gets when they are left in the cold… :twisted: pi$$y, to say the least.

A bit late to the party but:
(1) I like Angelina’s outfit. It looks really comfortable and easy to wear when you are running around after kids. White is a great colour coz if there are any stains, you just put a bit of bleach on it and presto, its white again.
(2) Insider info about Jen and Brad and Plan B. I believe it. Not because insider might actually be an insider but because of the things Jen has herself said about Plan B and what has happened to Jen’s career.
Anyone who has ever tried to raise funds for any sort of fund, be it a private equity fund or what ever, knows that the first thing the money people look for is TRACK RECORD. Has that person tryng to get you to hand over your hard earned cashed, successfully invested in companies (or in this case, made any movies) in the past?? Who is on the team? Jennifer has no track record and unless she has built up a team with a track record, its gonna be tough to raise money. She might still be able to do it. Her box office record is not so bad - really it isn’t. As long as she picks the right roles and right movies.
But another reason for believing the insider is this, despite Jennifer’s lack of a track record, you’d think that some producer or director would want her to star in movie - especially after TBU. But no one did. Could it be that many people in the industry DON’T LIKE HER or RESPECT HER? When decisions are made whether to hire one actress over another, my guess is, a lot of that decision comes down to a gut feel. And if you don’t like someone, you’re going to get a “bad” gut feel and you won’t get hired.
And also on the issue of wanting to be married. It seems to me that Brad and Angelina want to be together, at least for now. Both are aware about the fragility and changeability of their relationship. Both have invested a huge amount of time and effort to be together, sacrificing career and real $$$ so that whilst one works, the other is at home, keeping the home fires burning. Will they last? Who knows? But they clearly are committed to trying their hardest, the way neither of them did with their previous exes. For the sake of their children, I’m hoping that they will.

It’s much ado about nothing as usual - many of my friends have started their families in the past few years, and of course our friendships have changed, but we all still love each other alot, if not more! Friends having children just gives everyone more to be happy about and celebrate, and brings home the preciousness of life and frienships. Anyone who thinks that George has a problem with Angie or their children is just seeing what THEY want to believe!

Angie said in her RD interview she is going to work for two months in Prague on Wanted, she’ll have two months off and work for another two months which I assume to be the C Eastwood movie and then take a year off.
I am assuming again, she will get pregnant towards the end of the year hence the year off.
I have been following this couple since they got together. Brad is not so easy to read, but Angie when she says something you have to trust and believe her.
Six weeks after Shi was born she was on Anderson Cooper, she said it LOUD and CLEAR NEXT we will ADOPT. But, no one listened and kept saying she is pregnant almost every other month.
I am sorry for bursting anyones buble. I want her to be pregnant again but lets just be realistic and stick to the facts and listen to what Angie is saying. I hope I am wrong b/c I’d love to hear that great news as much as all of you want to hear it. Peace :-)

Besides, could just be an impulse purchase because he is excited - there doesn’t necessarily have to be anything special about the cream. Probably just a ‘little something’ to bring home to his love to show her he was thinking of her while in Montreal. People in love do sweet things like that for each other. Just like some of the little pieces of jewellery that he bought for her in India - not necessarily very expensive or valuable, but a ‘local treat’ nonetheless. I just got back from the DR last week and my cousin and I had a great time picking out ‘local treats’ to bring home for family and friends.

I think what he said 2 years ago about his relationship with Brad was the right thing, that he isn’t like the kind of friend that Brad would spill all his intimate details to. They are male friends. I don’t think male friends relate that way to each other.
Looking at some of the photos of George gazing at Brad, I think George is half in love with Brad. I don’t see any malice but I think George probably has felt a little left out as his good friends have all got families and loving wifes back home and he - well, I think he is a little envious and lonely.

#199, you do realize that Angie made those comments about being on the pill, way back during the Christmas and New Year holiday I believe (when promoting TGS). That was 6 months ago! LOL! Just because she was on the pill then, that doesn’t mean she’s on it now, or was on it even 3 months ago.
…also, you had that right about the wine, she was indeed “holding” it. If you get a pic where she’s actually ‘drinking’ it - let me know. ;-) The party pics we saw after the Ocean’s premiere, she had a regular beverage like tumbler (for water and the like) with a straw in it. She also looked sure footed and clear eyed coming out of the par-taaay, as opposed to Brad who might have had indulged. Not that he looked 3 sails to the wind or anything, but one could say he was, ‘happy.’ Between the kiss, and almost getting in on AJ’s side when they were leaving. I think he was feeling no pain. AJ was stone cold sober in my opinion.

Well, I just think the opposite. I used to think that Brad only had (of course he still has) the look but nothing else. However now, I think Angelina is right, he is far more than just having good looks — besides that, he is a good man, a great father of 4 young kids, and a supportive partner of Angelina.
Yes, you may be right that there are younger actors or maybe some of them are goodlooking too. But no one, I mean, no one male actor in Hollyweird can be like him who can attract so many fans in the world. It wasn’t until he got together with Angelina (whom I have truly admired since she adopted Maddox and started her work with the UNHCR) that I really got to know more about him as a person (and not just as the pretty half of the ‘Golden Couple’) that I truly started to admire him as a person. Okay ********…I’m back now…to answer your question - what did X do to extort Brad? Do you want to start with while they were married or after he finally told her to file for divorce or he’d blow her “America’s Sweetheart” cover and show the world her inner beeyotch?
Cuz ya know…telling your husband, who desperately wants kids, that you’re pregger and then giving him a false pregnancy test would be considered “extortion” in anyone’s book. Or is that merely X’s “missing sensitivity chip”?
Then we can segue on to all the times she gave interviews telling the public that a child was on the way…knowing that her husband no longer wanted to have children with her.
Oh yeah…and let’s not forget all those times that she promised him she’d start thinking about having kids and then signed up to renew her TV show…then signed up for movies during the tv show’s hiatus…and finally signing up for 6 movies after the tv show. Is that extortion or blackmail or merely lying through the teeth? Cuz, ya know how they can all blend into the same thing sometimes and you can’t tell them apart anymore.
Now bear in mind X was saying all these times how much she wanted Brad’s children and never getting the job done. But, then the cow has the audacity after the separation to get her friends to tell VF that the whole not having kids issue was Brad’s fault because he didn’t want to spawn with her, and really, who could blame the guy. You don’t think that’s talking bad about Brad?
How about when she gets her buds to tell VF that Brad “checked out of the marriage emotionally” after he met Angelina…knowing full well their marriage had been doing a doggie paddle for at least 2 years? Is that talking bad about Brad or merely re-writing history?

Let’s see…then there’s X intimating to VF that Brad was having an affair with Angelina while they were married and saying she “chose to believe” her husband when he said he hadn’t…when she knew full well he hadn’t. BUt…that’s probably doesn’t count as saying something hurtful in your book. Dishonest doesn’t equal hurtful…does it?
I’m not even going to get into all the various rumors of things that X did and said that were hurtful to Brad, although I do find it humorous that at one point after it was painfully obvious that he had moved on with Angelina, that X had the audacity to issue him a “take me back” ultimatum…which was met with gales of laughter from Brad as he got on the plane to England and proceeded to adopt Z with Angie. Plus, there’s my favorite story of how X went to London on the pretense of reshoots for Derailed and basically stalked Brad and Angie. But, hey, that’s not really SAYING anything hurtful…it’s just being a glutton for punishment.
You know - I could take that VF article and run through it point by point and show you the lies and hurtful things she said about Brad, but you’re never going to see it, so I’m going to save my fingers some exercise and quit typing now. You are delusional if you think X hasn’t deliberately said and done things to hurt Brad and or to “extort” what she wants from him, mainly public sympathy as the wronged party. She couldn’t care two beans about Brad’s reputation or she would have kept her mouth shut about the circumstances of their divorce the same way he did. The fact that she spoke publicly on the matter at all is all the proof of “hurt” and “extortion” that you need.

I knew when Brad went to Montreal and Angie stayed in Prague that the tabs would come out with stories of them splitting. These guys love each other and will stay together. Brad said in one of the interviews that he is the happiest he has ever been. He really looks good in Montreal. Angie has her hands full. She is a great woman, mother, companion and lover. I don’t care what anyone says “I LOVE THIS FAMILY”!.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a long time. This trashy news always wants to fool us fans of Angelina and Brad. I’ve been a long time fan of Angelina and the things I read about her (the legit ones) says so much truth about her as a person. My impression is she won’t stay in a relationship if there is a major problems bet. her and her partner. It does not matter if there are children, we know that these children will be taken care of no matter what. So if the realtionship is really on the the bad side, Angelina will get out of this relationship. That’s why I definitely don’t believed this trashy tabloids trying to put bad mark on this couple’s relationship. Like Lainey says good, mushy news does not sell much. I more than 100% agree with you on this. As Matt D said in his TGS interview, Angie is not a person who stays in relationship if the relationship goes bad. Angie is the person who just takes children and leave rather than staying in bad relationship. If she suffers in relationship it will affect on their children (bad effect). We saw this in JV case and BBT case. So I do not believe any of the tabloid stories not because tabloids are well known for their made up stories but I think I know how Angie works.

Nobody with sanity can say they are splitting just two days after gushing about how hot & heavy they were in Cannes. It’s schizo. The most that they have spent away from each other is a week and that is really saying something. Why don’t we read about the closeness of this family? it’s noted and discussed as nauseum when Brad is or is not with the family for one day, but there’s no screaming about how he has never spent more than one week away from Angelina and the kids since 2006! I would say even as far back as 2005! I can’t remember them not being together. Maddox can’t probably remember the time before Brad was in his life. They always seem to be together.

Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are fast-tracking “The Changeling,” with Clint Eastwood looking to direct and Angelina Jolie in talks to star.
Scripted by J. Michael Straczynski, the film will become a co-production of Imagine and Eastwood’s Malpaso. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard will produce with Malpaso’s Rob Lorenz.
Plan is to start production later this year.
Jolie would play a woman whose son is abducted but retrieved; she suspects, however, that the returned child is not her kid. The woman must then confront corruption in the LAPD. Story is based on true events in 1920s Los Angeles.
U and Imagine have been high on the project since acquiring it last summer and placing it on a shortlist of films that Imagine partner Howard intended to direct next. When Howard instead committed to adapt the Peter Morgan play “Frost/Nixon,” he and Grazer began thinking of other filmmakers. Since they expect to follow up “The Da Vinci Code” with a pic based on the Dan Brown novel “Angels & Demons,” it was clear Howard wouldn’t get to “The Changeling” for two years.
Howard, Grazer and Imagine exec Jim Whitaker then called Eastwood and asked him to read the script. Though a fixture at Warner Bros., Eastwood had to enlist outside partners to get his most recent films going: “Million Dollar Baby” and the dual pics “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Letters From Iwo Jima.”
Jolie, who’ll next be seen as Marianne Pearl in “The Mighty Heart” and then in the Bob Zemeckis-directed “Beowulf,” will have to juggle “The Changeling” with another plum project. She’s booked to star in “Atlas Shrugged,” a Randall Wallace-scripted adaptation of the Ayn Rand classic for Lionsgate.
She’s repped by Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski. Eastwood is managed by Lenny Hirshan.

Tabloid editors may be going through serious withdrawal for the next 12 months.
Angelina Jolie has announced plans to take a year off from acting duties and lay low with her ever-burgeoning family, once she wraps production on a handful of projects.
“I’m working this summer. I’m in Prague for a few months, then I take two months off, then I work for two months,” she told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival Tuesday. “And then I take a year off.”
“We’re getting work out of the way at the moment.”
The 31-year-old Oscar winner failed to reveal whether her use of the word “we” meant that partner Brad Pitt would be joining her in the temporary unemployment line, though it’s not likely. The actor has five projects in the works.
As for Jolie, the time off announcement is hardly a surprise—just slightly delayed.
Back in March, the mother of four announced that she would not be taking on any more projects in the immediate future to focus her newest addition, son Pax. However, just a week after making the announcement, Jolie signed on to star in the action flick Wanted, which she is in the midst of filming in Prague.
Jolie will now finish up her year with the Clint Eastwood mystery thriller The Changeling, as a woman whose kidnapped son returns home only to begin suspecting that the boy is not hers. Then she will take her leave.
As it is, Jolie, Pitt and their brood—five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and Shiloh, less than one week shy of her first birthday—have been getting a head start on their quality bonding time this week in the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival.
The family arrived on Sunday to promote two films: the Jolie-starring and Pitt-produced A Mighty Heart, about Mariane Pearl, the widow of the slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, and Pitt’s significantly lighter and much more blockbuster-friendly fare Ocean’s Thirteen.
For Jolie, the role of the pregnant widow hit close to home, not only because she had befriended Pearl in the months before signing on to star in the biopic, but because she found herself six months pregnant while filming the movie, exactly how far along Pearl was when her husband was killed by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002.
“It was something that haunted me through the whole thing and haunted, I think, everybody involved,” she told NBC’s Ann Curry in an interview airing on both Today and Dateline Tuesday. “Nobody ever really voiced that and nobody ever really talked about it, but I’m sure it was something that she did become a friend.
“What that took away from this time in their life, this is the happiest time in their life. And what that must be, I just can’t imagine. I thought about that when I was breastfeeding. I thought about that all through kind of the birth of…you know, that haunted me.”
Other things that unfortunately seem to haunt Jolie is the incessant tabloid coverage of her and Pitt’s private lives—the story du jour being that the genetically blessed duo is teetering on the brink of separation—though the actress told Curry that the rumors, which she opts not to read, are simply not worth setting straight.
“I know there’s a cycle of certain things that they keep writing or whatever, but I can assume things are made up. But no, I haven’t a clue. And why would I, you know? There’s nothing I have to hide or defend. You know, I’m gonna live my life. And there are gonna be times when people wanna try to attack me and I don’t know why, but they will. And that’s okay.”
For Jolie, she said her only concern is her family—the reason for her hiatus.
“My kids are healthy. I have a lot I want to do in this world. Before I do, I wanna do a lot of things as a woman, as a mom, and that’s my focus. At the end of the day, I’m gonna be dead…and what people say about me is gonna be what I accomplished and what I did in my life and how my children are.”
It’s a sentiment that appears to have rubbed off on partner Pitt, who told Curry in a separate interview that, as far as his livelihood is concerned, “it’s just not enough anymore to say that ‘it’s entertainment and enjoyment.’ ”
So, no Ocean’s Fourteen?
“For me personally, I’m saying, in my life, if you can move the ball forward a little bit…that’s what this is about. Where is it going to go? The interesting thing is how it evolves for me individually for myself, and watching the same with Angie.”
You know it’s true that Brad and his family have been practically inseperable the past couple of years. Remember when he flew from India to the States for Babel premiere just for the night and left for India the very next day? I think you have to go back to 2004 to remember them not being together. But I can’t remember now. It’s like the brain doesn’t want to remember. LOL!!

`Ocean’s 13′ Cast at Cannes Film Fest

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and company became good friends while playing a bunch of crooks and con men. They’re still as thick as thieves _ and that was reason enough to get together again for “Ocean’s Thirteen.”
Friendship _ and the importance of sticking by your buddies _ is the running thread in the story line for the movie, the third in a series that began with “Ocean’s Eleven” in 2001.
“We all love working together, and making movies is about as fun a thing as you can do,” Damon told The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday. “The only thing that tops it is making it with your friends. When the call came, I think we all jumped.”
After the gang’s foray into Europe for 2004’s “Ocean’s Twelve,” the new flick returns the action to Las Vegas, where Reuben (Elliott Gould) thinks he’s getting in on a casino deal with ruthless, sleazy Willy Bank (Al Pacino, a newcomer to the series). But Bank double-crosses him _ giving Reuben a heart attack.
That’s when the crew, led by Danny Ocean (Clooney), decides to avenge Reuben’s losses by sinking Bank on his casino’s opening night. Robin Hood-style, they rig the casino so that all the gamblers win, sucking millions from the slot machines and blackjack tables.
Clooney said the actors “wanted to go out on a high note” in what is expected to be their last “Ocean’s” film together.
“We felt that `Twelve’ was not, was not certainly received as well (as `Ocean’s Eleven’),” Clooney told AP Television News. “So we wanted another crack at it, too.”
Visual gags abound: Clooney briefly turns up in a thick mustache and gold chain. Damon, who sports an enormous fake nose for much of the movie, has to seduce the enemy’s right-hand woman, played by Ellen Barkin, the lone female star in the ensemble movie.
“Ocean’s Thirteen” was to have its black-tie premiere Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, cast members hosted a fundraiser for Not on Our Watch, which is working on behalf of refugees from the Sudanese province of Darfur, and gave back-to-back interviews in beach cabanas at a secluded luxury hotel outside Cannes, cracking jokes and finishing each other’s sentences.
Many of them had their families in tow _ a reminder of how much their lives have changed since “Ocean’s Eleven.” Brad Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie, have four young children, and Matt Damon’s wife gave birth to a daughter last June.

I only asked because #285 gena raised the issue and I was just not wanting to believe that any tab would lead with one of these repetitive lies this week. I also think that Angie would be a perfect fit for GC and I think he also knows that- as someone said there were videos showing GC talking to Angie when she passed by with Brad not looking at GC and just pulling Angie. GC has some sort of ambition to be involved in politics and I think if GC was involved with Angie, his ambition would be fulfilled (Angie has so many connection in that area). However, I think Brad is more perfect to Angie: Brad is a gentle and family man.
