Sheryl Crow’s Baby Hike
Sheryl Crow takes 1-month-old son Wyatt Crow for a hike in LA’s Runyon Canyon Park on Monday, wrapped in a Moby D wrap in sage green/orient silk panel/black.
Sheryl also took baby Wyatt to a Memorial Day party later on in the day along the star-studded Billionaires Beach with celebs Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Cindy Crawford.

I think this is really irresponsible. Jogging with a baby wrappd in a moby? What if you trip and fall, the baby can be hurt. I don’t think jogging through a canyon is safe with a baby strapped to you. I use carriers/wraps and they always advise you to keep one hand on the baby at all times.
Think safety sheryl!!!

Once again you idiots judge people close to JA. You all seem to forget that we had the same carier when Shiloh was born. Frankly you people have not lives. Get a glass of wine and enjoy yourselves ! Lord knows you are sounding like bitter, bitter women—————————————————
Noone complained about using carier, only about jogging with the baby.
Sheryl should take into consideration that the woman that gave birth to her adopted son is not out taking hikes in the hills right now. Even though his birth mother does not have to care for the son she gave up for adoption, it is physically challenging for pregnant women to get around for about a 4 week time after giving birth and possibly longer after a c-section. The sling may not be an effective tool for Sheryl b/c the baby is not used to her body movement like he would be from his biological mother. Too many baby gadgets being miused.
That interfere with the bonding process of a baby.
Sheryl should follow a pattern of activity with her baby mimicking that of a women having given birth.
Don’t think that she’s jogging.
I’m surprise that she would go for a walk (even a short walk) with the baby without a baby bag. One month old babies are still pretty unpredictable in regards to eating, pooping, spitting up.
poor widdle french iroquois. can’t get attention in it’s real life so comes here to insult others. she is the bitter woman and needs to take her own advice. salut!
That baby is very secure and snug. Some of you just want to spit negativity.
You don’t even know if she was out for five minutes or five hours.
She’s bonding with the child.
I was shocked to see these pictures. Someone should tell her to let the baby home or choose a better time to exercise. The impression I have by seeing her pictures with the kid is that she is realizing too late that to have a new kid home is not only the first day. It seems she still cant adjust her life style to fit the baby in.
Said this, I hope she learns very quick how to do this. I dont wish bad for her.
Christ … she has a full-time, much sought-after infant nurse to help her out the first weeks. The woman comes with credentials.
She would not let mom go out if it was not safe. She’s not jogging, she’s walking.
If she goes out for a jog without the baby, she gets critisized. Like babies don’t sleep during the day.
If she takes the baby along somewhere, like she does most of the time, she gets critisized.
She has 9 months of bonding to catch up on, and it looks like she’s doing a good job. That baby is almost always close to mom.
And he’s going to grow up in a very big, warm, close-knit family. With plenty of aunties and uncles and cousins to play with.
She’s not jogging…she is hiking! Are any of you even familiar with the area that she is hiking? It is not treacherous or anything, not much different than taking a typical walk through the neighborhood… I carried all of my babies in a carrier and walking/hiking with them at that age is not at all unsafe or dangerous. Give it up people!
Stupid *****. If she stumbles, she falls on the baby.
Don’t have anything against Sheryl adopting this baby, but I’m sorry any bird headed mother should know you don’t hike or party at the beach under a californian heat with a one-month-old baby! Sheryl is really inconsiderata, unthoughtful. It’s one thing to say: yay I’m lonesome and in my 40’s and wanna have a baby to get much more balanced, but maternal instict cannot be granted with adoption files also! It’s disgusting…
WTF ?????!!!!!!! Kid is going to suffocate !!
I will bite my tongue about this woman, but suffice it to say, even in close to sub zero temps, if a baby is held close to the body and wrapped up, they can stay warm and withstand freezing temperatures. Why is that? Because our natural body temps are 98.6 degrees, but in close confines and pressed body to body, we emit even more warmth and high temps - IMAGINE THEN, if you will, if it’s already HOT AS HELL, California HOT — and you have your 1 month old kid in a body sling next to your skin, and wrapped up tight like a shrink wrapped hot dog?! This woman needs serious counsel. That kid could have heatstroke right now, and I doubt Sheryl Birdbrain would know.
As for someone saying Brad and Angie carried Shi in one of these — PLEASE, show me the pic, they DID NOT. And certainly not at ONE MONTH!! The only time I saw Shi in one of those is in New Orleans when Brad had a sling on and she was in it. But she wasn’t covered up with it, she was almost 8 months old, and the sling is just supporting her bottom so she could sit on Dad’s side.
I think Crow is losing it. All the publicity whoring done by her friend Maniston is rubbing off on her.
You judgemental people are such ******* idiots. She IS NOT jogging dumb asses. She’s WALKING. The baby is NOT exposed. Clearly, he’s bundled and covered. And she has a nanny to guide her during these first few months of motherhood which aren’t necessarily intuitive (but I suppose you ******* are also critisizing her for doing THAT too).
My my the **** you get on this site if you’re friends with certain people.
Wrap carriers are a great option for those preferring a two shouldered carrier with lots of flexibility. Baby can be worn on the front or back, and a wrap offers the ultimate in comfort for both mom and baby. A great carrier for babies that like to be held in the upright position.
The Moby Wrap is a great choice for newborns and small babies, as it is a nice, stretchy wrap that has basically one way to tie it on. It is very “popable”, allowing you to wear the wrap all day, and simply “pop” the baby in and out as needed.
The Ellaroo and Didymos wraps are just gorgeous, and made of wonderfully soft fabrics. They provide a little less give than the Moby, so they hold your child in nice and snug, without being bouncy. Lots of wrapping holds gives you many options to wear your baby or toddler all day long.

Okay? That is the wrap that she is wearing. The child is fine. You people just like to ***** about other people’s kids too much and her being a celebrity with so much publicity every day give you a good chance at her. Turn off your computer now, please. It’ll do us all a load of good. Next time you decide to start bitching about someone you don’t even know.. try and do some reasearch and get the facts first.
I have to tell you, I have a one month old baby myself. The doc said not to take her out for 2 to 3 months- im sure fresh air is ok- but going shopping? she takes that kid everywhere like luggage- she really needs to let the poor kid rest and adjust- and no- jogging with the baby is not good- could do damage to his brain if it was intense enough-like shaken baby syndrome
From these pics it looks like she’s just walking. Maybe she just didn’t want to push a stroller…and who knows how long she walked…ppl blow things way outta proportion…
Nature has a way to protect little babies. A one month postpartum woman would not feel like going for a long walk/hike/jog like that. Therefore the baby would not be fit to go with her on such an outing.
Oh come on, this is ridiculous. Either forget the walk or get a babysitter. Poor child probably can’t breath and is sweating in there. It looks very hot and he’s up next to her sweaty body, does she want to kill him. This was very stupid, hiking on unlevel ground too, what if she slipped and fell on him. She’s ridiculous.
All these “is it safe” posts are plain stupid. The baby is right where she can see him, not down in some plastic carrier with a hood where he could die unnoticed! As for heat and whatever, oh please…every single African, Asian, Arab village baby in the whole world goes around like that every day and they do just fine. Their infant deaths come from bad water, not being carried around by their mother like nature intended. Wyatt is safe with his mom, not catching giardia in daycare like most American babies.
