Yes, he adopted Maddox and Zahara. The adoption process ended just before Shiloh’s birhtday. There’s an interview where Brad says so.

As for Pax, the name change is the first step towards adoption, but the process is surely not yet completed as it takes a little less than six months.

Usually - and in spite of Brad’s words confirming the adoption - haters say the kids were not adopted because we haven’t seen the adoption decree… Of course all adoption records are sealed, but who can reason with haters?

Why is it all about looks for some? that’s the problem in this country. This country is not particularly known for it’s beautiful looking people so I can’t get “Matt isn’t good looking”. He is extremely talented The man’s writing is legendary. He and Ben’s story is practically a movie in itself. Matt is a very distinguised man in person. Very mature, serious about his work and no nonsense. I like to see the humor side of him come out because he’s known to be a serious person. These are the people who will be hiring the so called hot younger people coming up. I would pay attention and be nice.

Just tell those idiots to pull their heads out of their butts, take a whiff of fresh air and buy a frigging clue. Newsweek magazine reported last year that the adoptions were final “shortly before Shiloh’s birth”. BUT…the best proof of the adoptions being final is that Angelina herself has stressed innumerable times, “we are BOTH legally bound to our children…” In order for Brad to be legally bound to Z & Mad he would have to legally be their father by adoption. Angie has repeatedly said this in response to questions about why they haven’t gotten married yet. She even went as far to tell Reader’s Digest that being married DOES NOT give a parent LEGAL RIGHTS to an adopted child. The only thing that does that is to legally adopt the child…ergo, Brad is LEGALLY BOUND to Maddox and Zahara, therefore he is their LEGAL FATHER.

I know logic is anathema to a lot of the blog slogs out there, but damn…

You know why the issue of Brad being a legal parent to Maddox, Zahara and Pax matters so much to the haters? Because they still desperately hold on to the hope that Brad will go back to X and take Shiloh with him. Shiloh, as in the biological child and the child Brad has legal custody to with Angelina.

If they can claim that Brad is not the legal parent of Mad, Z, and Pax, then it makes it easier for them to dream about Brad taking Shiloh with him and running back to his ex.
And Angelina will be left caring for the adopted kids.

That’s why these haters are h*ll bent on proving that Angelina doesn’t love Shiloh so when they dream that Brad takes Shiloh with him back to X, there will be no problem. Angelina won’t fight for the custody of a child she supposedly doesn’t love. And that’s why they keep bringing up the issue of Brad being a legal parent to all four kids.

They still want Brad to go back and cry to X and take Shiloh with him, because in the haters’ minds, Shiloh is only Brad’s daughter, not Angelina’s. They refuse to see that Brad is also the father of four kids, not one.

Everyone has their own particualr talent that they bring to the plate. What we the public know about these people is about 10 pecent of their lives no matter what the battling tabloids think they give us. George has his own talents he brings, Brad has his own, as does Matt, Don, Carl, Ellen and Al Pacino. They all bounce off each other and that’s when the creative process happens. It’s aldo where mutural respect id earned and friendships develop. The day after the young Czech paparazzo Dalibor Puchta was memorably arrested after trying to photograph Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie from a garage near the sleek villa the couple had rented in Prague, neighbors are out indulging their evening routines.

Whether annoying Hollywood’s glamour couple or stalking a traumatized Czech TV star, it’s all in a (not exceptionally well-paid) day’s work for the paparazzi of Prague

“We have never seen so many dogwalkers around here,” quipped store manager Sabina Dankova, 35, sipping coffee and dragging on a cigarette outside her house. Proud of having Hollywood’s most glamorous couple as temporary neighbors while Jolie was in town to film her next action flick, Dankova sounded a solemn note: “I hope [the paparazzi] do not bug them too much, so they do not move.”

Contrary to her wishes, the Czech tabloids happily reported that Jolie flipped out after Czech shutterbugs found ways to photograph the family in the privacy of their temporary home. Such images would cause problems for any American gossip sheet silly enough to run them, but in the Czech Republic they are perfectly legal.

The Prague paparazzi frenzy is driven by cutthroat competition. Seventeen years after the fall of communism, Czechs no longer fear for the fate of their democracy and many have long since tired of reading about stale politics. So, the mainstream newspapers have gone soft, and the yellow press has flourished. “We have three tabloid dailies and they are fighting for survival,” says Ondrej Hoeppner, a former editor of the fourth gossip sheet that had already succumbed.

The pressure is most acute on the photographers. The rule, says Puchta, is that you can’t bring back to the office any less than what your paper’s competition has. But the media market is so small in this country of 10 million that it often makes sense for the competing paparazzi to team up. Especially when the subject is working very hard to remain elusive. That’s what’s brought the paparazzi pack out here tonight in hooded sweatshirts and discreet earpieces as they maintain radio contact with one another in search of gaps in the protective shield provided by Brangelina bodyguards.

“It’s impossible to stop it,” Hoeppner gripes of the impromptu cartel deals. Even for an exclusive photo, a Czech tabloid would pay a fraction of what its U.S. equivalents might. Most Czech celebrity shutterbugs are simply well-paid salarymen. “Better the money, bigger the threat your editor will scold you, ‘How come you don’t have that?’ ” Hoeppner says.

He may not have earned loads of cash, but his arrest has certainly earned Puchta some respect. “I am popular now. The bodyguards at Bailando step back in awe,” he quips in reference to a celebrity reality-television contest.

The brown-eyed, baby-faced 24-year-old stumbled into the life of “a society photographer” after dropping out of medical school “and some four other universities.”

But he has little time for talking. “Our editor wants more [stalking],” he explains with the hint of a scoff. “Apparently we don’t have enough for the front page.”

Having returned with her kids from Cannes, Jolie may actually get a break from the unruly local paparazzi, whose attention has now turned to homegrown stories. First, there’s the story of an eight-year-old boy allegedly locked up naked and tied by his own mother. “Two beauties from Hollywood can’t match something this heavy,” Hoeppner remarks matter-of-factly.

Puchta, meanwhile, is out hunting for a 45-year-old local television star returning home alone — “visibly crushed,” the tabloids tell us the next morning — from a hospital after giving birth to her gravely ill seventh child.

Given the circumstances, it seems almost foolish to ask if there’s a line he would never cross. “I find myself constantly pushing that line. I keep telling myself it’s just a game,” Puchta says with a sigh, his voice fading out. A few months earlier, he had the distinction of being the first in the paparazzi pack to snap a young widow after her aging husband, a famous pop composer, had blown his brains out. That “coup” did not make him feel especially proud. “A trained monkey can do it,” says the tabloid lensman. “This is not photography. It’s waiting around in a car. It starts getting on my nerves…” Then, he quickly corrects himself: “Don’t jot that down. You have to write I am a motivated, successful, young paparazzo who doesn’t mind getting busted.”

Pax Thien Jolie is now officially Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt. Angelina Jolie’s attorney made the formal motion to change Pax’s name this morning, May 31, in a Santa Monica Court. There were no objections, so Judge Gerald Rosenberg granted the request.

Jolie’s attorney would not comment on whether Brad Pitt had also begun formal adoption proceedings, in addition to having Pax, 3, take his last name. Pitt adopted both of Jolie’s other non-biological children, Maddox, 5, and Zahara, 2. The couple have one biological child, Shiloh, who turned one on May 27.

The little People square on the cover, was a big purchase for Huvane. He had to beg and plead and plead and beg. The sad thing about US is that when it first started it was very much like People. However, when Bonnie Fuller took over the rag about 10-12 years ago they chose to go in a more gossipy direction because they weren’t making a dent in People’s marketshare. Now that they’ve become, as Lamey likes to call them, “the gossip bible”, they’re trying to remake their image as being an “entertainment NEWS magazine”. However, when all of your stories are presented in a sensationalized manner and embelished with fictious occurences, then calling yourself a “news magazine” just doesn’t fly. If US was serious about being a “news magazine” they wouldn’t do covers that exploit children who can barely walk and talk.

At this point I don’t think US is trying to become more like People. They’re merely trying to separate themselves from the rest of the tabloids by setting themselves up as the arbiters of factual reporting in the celebrity “news” industry. They know they’ll never be People…but neither do they want their name mentioned in the same breath as Star and National Enquirer. In order to do that they have to paint as black a picture of their competitors as possible. Luckily for us it doesn’t look like the competition is going to take that lying down. I believe Star’s story today is American Media’s way of saying, “Bring it on!” to Wenner and Min.

Since following Brad and Angelina news, it did seem to me that the tablies and entertainment news shows have gone out of control. They say the nastiest horriblest things and then expect the celebrities to play nice to them when they want them to.

If not, then this exclusion of Peecrust by the GANG seems to be signal that the really big celebrities, the ones whom the entertainment news shows and tablies and blogs are fighting to cover, are changing the rules of the game.

And indeed, why not. There are now, so many entertainment news shows, so many tablies, so many blogs covering celebrities and movies. And almost all of these tablies and entertainment shows are INTERCHANGEABLE (unless you carve a niche for yourself like People Magazine). Do anyone of us bother to say - “ooohhh, I only want to watch peecrust and not anyone else”. LOL, I’m guessing here but I’d say NO.

So, if a celebrity drops you, there are dozens more willing and happy to step into the game. The fans won’t miss a thing because it’s not like they are fans of Peecrust or anyone of these entertainment news hosts anyway.

And if the “dropped one” then slags a movie or celebrity whilst others praise it, well, others are more than happy to point to the fact that its probably because they hadn’t been invited to the play in the game and are being sour grapes (see Jossip’s commentary on A*S Weakly’s report about Angelina’s double twisted life) which then discredits the show or tablie even more.

IIf the rules of the game are changing this way, then it’s gonna be fun watching how the celebrities and tablies/entertainment news shows and blogs manage the situation. In any case, I’m pretty confident that Brad and Angelina will play the game with class.

The little People square on the cover, was a big purchase for Huvane. He had to beg and plead and plead and beg. Exactly. Some idiots at FF said a while back that the Vogue didn’t sale any copies because they went into a Wal-Mart and saw the copies there. Then they think that’s evidence enough that the magazine didn’t sell. The only way we really know is if something is released (like they did with the Shiloh People mag issue) or like you said, a publicist sends out reports of how much the mag sells. LONDON (Reuters) - An 18-year-old waitress and part-time jazz singer is in line for a multi-million dollar record deal after performing for George Clooney at the Cannes film festival.

Victoria Hart, whose day job involves working for tips at the little-known Naked Turtle restaurant in London, was flown to Cannes earlier this month after a friend-of-a-friend put her name forward to sing at a charity event.

Her performance in front of Hollywood stars including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Clooney, who described her as “simply lovely,” won her international acclaim and now major record labels EMI and Universal are battling to sign her.

“We’re getting very close — a deal is not far away at all,” Hart’s agent Lynne Pearson told Reuters from her home in Switzerland.

“It’s always very difficult to talk about specific figures, but it will be a very big deal when it is announced.”

British newspapers put the figure at $3 million.

Clooney, Damon barrack for Obama

Ocean’s Thirteen cast members George Clooney and Matt Damon have come out in support of US Democrat presidential contender Barack Obama.
The two made the call as part of an interview in this week’s Time magazine.

Clooney has not made a secret of his admiration for Obama, and has shared a stage with him in the past, but it is the first time Damon is known to have spoken out on the subject.

Fellow interviewee Brad Pitt revealed he is still sitting on the fence politically.

The Cannes interview, ostensibly to promote their new film, took a sideways swerve into politics with a tongue-in-cheek question.

“I’m sure like most actors you’re all watching the Republican field, just waiting for a candidate to get behind,” mused Time’s interviewer.

“I’m just hoping Gingrich gets in. Come on, Newt!” joked Clooney. “Actually there’s a really good field out there. I like Barack Obama a lot. I’ve spent some time with him.”

The following discussion then ensued.

PITT: You just cost him votes.

CLOONEY: I’ve actually had that conversation with him, just saying “Look, I’ll give you whatever support you need - including staying completely away from you.” Actors have done a lot of damage to candidates lately. My father ran for Congress in 2004, and it was “Hollywood vs. the Heartland!” My father was Hollywood.

PITT: I’m just hungry for some honesty and leadership. And I’m following them all - on all sides.

DAMON: I’m an Obama guy too. I think a lot of the problems in the world would be mitigated if he were the face of our country. I haven’t ever met him or talked to him, but he’s the first person in a long time who I’ve been inspired by.

CLOONEY: When other politicians stop and listen, that’s how you know what charisma is. You can’t teach that. He walks into a room and you go, “That’s a leader.”

The US elections are due in November, 2008.

Hey… I go to Wal-Mart… but I prefer Target! ;)

While Wal-Mart is the place to get cleaning and other household supplies, I noticed that they’re not very good about restocking their magazine shelves, especially the weekly publications. Yes, Vogue is a monthly mag, but if they’re sluggish about supplying their weeklies, imagine how they are with their monthlies.

Oh… we got the January Vogue… in December. I guess we’ll put them on the shelves the second week of January. Yeah… that’ll be alright!! :roll:
