Time Magazine sat down with some of the stars of Ocean’s 13 — Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin — on the terrace at the Hotel du Cap in Cannes, France.
Here’s are some funny excerpts:
On the subject of charisma, you’ve each been called the last great movie star at one point or another. Are we really running out of movie stars, and is that, like, a problem?
CLOONEY: The last real movie stars were probably Redford and Newman. And things were different then. There wasn’t this amazing amount of magazines and information about them.
DAMON: We didn’t know anything about them.
CLOONEY: There was mystique. They’re 60 feet high, and you paid your buck and a half to go see them. But that’s gone. People know everything about everybody now.
PITT: Jaws came along and proved you could make huge money with blockbusters, and it set this thing in motion that has lowered the subject matter. People like George have been getting good stuff out there, but it’s an industry that pushes people out on the big stage too fast, before they’re ready, and it eats them up as well. It’s a different kind of arena now.
BARKIN: Think about it. Do we know anything about Robert Redford’s children? Does he even have any?
DAMON: I worked with him, and I don’t know.
PITT: I have four, if you haven’t heard.
As we’re talking, there are paparazzi in boats out in the harbor taking pictures. Having just been through the celebrity muck of Cannes, who gets it the worst?
CLOONEY: There’s no question, it’s Brad.
PITT: Well, exponentially, with us together …
CLOONEY: But even before he was with [Angelina Jolie], we used to chum the water with him.
PITT: This is not a joke. They used to send me out to take the hits.
CLOONEY: We were at the airport in Italy. So I walk off the plane, and it’s “Hey, Giorgio!” And I go, “Look! Brad Pitt!” and they’re gone.
DAMON: You described it once as “People were stepping on our faces trying to get to Brad.”
PITT: Ah, well, I don’t take it as a compliment.

I saw that also. Gaycrest was crushed that he will not get to gaze at his mancrush, the delectable BP. I think he was more disappointed for himself rather than E! News. E! News smear job during the Golden Globes not to mentioned the trepassing on the Jolie-Pitt property will pretty much limit their access to the Jolie-Pitts. Hollywood A list, such as Clooney, Damon, Pitt and Cheadle tend to band together and have long memories. JMO.
WELL, I JUST CANT WAIT TO SEE 013 WITH MY FRIENDS OPENING NIGHT.

Since Angelina has been channeling Audrey Hepburn, in terms of her fashion style, over the last year, wouldn’t it be awesome if Brad was the person who bought Audrey Hepburn’s pink cocktail dress from Breakfast at Tiffany’s?

It started two years ago remember this interview two years ago for MAMS.
Brad pretty much declared he loves her and then said now that is so wrong to admit it on air or something like that, but you know Angie was listening.

Brad and Angelina conquer Cannes. A Mighty Heart earns critical acclaim. The Oceans boys do not disappoint on 13. Mr and Mrs Pitt make out in the backseat of a car, world goes bananas, haters hate, Brangelunatics lose their ****…but the point is, everybody is talking. And no one is talking about Jen.
So like clockwork – a tabloid story surfaces about her writing a tell all book to the tune of $5 million. She promptly denies it through her publicist via ANOTHER tabloid – way to spread the ink space…and now, just 3 days after that, all of a sudden People Magazine is reporting that Jennifer Aniston went out on a date on Saturday night in Santa Monica. They waited for table as he rubbed her back (???) and then spent the next three hours romancing each other over a bottle of PELLEGRINO!!!
How ‘bout that for catering to the MiniVan Majority?
Anyway here’s Jen Memorial Day weekend with Courteney and her friends looking healthy and relaxed, contemplating the ocean and basking in contentment. Especially now that we’re talking about her again.

I was watching E News… Peecrust announced the winner of their O13 contest. After congratulating the winner, Peecrest , through clinched teeth, said that he hoped that the winner will have a good time at the LA O13 premiere and that E will not be there because they weren’t invited!
Did anyone else see this, because maybe I imagined this?

X new and old man is Norman and always was, I’ll believe she has a new man when I see it, unless his intial starts with DA,they always say new man ,new baby I personally think she thinks BP is coming back, so she has purposely not hitch up to anyone, seven years shes been thinking,hoping,praying no way he can 4get that and not come back.
