Time Magazine sat down with some of the stars of Ocean’s 13 — Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin — on the terrace at the Hotel du Cap in Cannes, France.
Here’s are some funny excerpts:
On the subject of charisma, you’ve each been called the last great movie star at one point or another. Are we really running out of movie stars, and is that, like, a problem?
CLOONEY: The last real movie stars were probably Redford and Newman. And things were different then. There wasn’t this amazing amount of magazines and information about them.
DAMON: We didn’t know anything about them.
CLOONEY: There was mystique. They’re 60 feet high, and you paid your buck and a half to go see them. But that’s gone. People know everything about everybody now.
PITT: Jaws came along and proved you could make huge money with blockbusters, and it set this thing in motion that has lowered the subject matter. People like George have been getting good stuff out there, but it’s an industry that pushes people out on the big stage too fast, before they’re ready, and it eats them up as well. It’s a different kind of arena now.
BARKIN: Think about it. Do we know anything about Robert Redford’s children? Does he even have any?
DAMON: I worked with him, and I don’t know.
PITT: I have four, if you haven’t heard.
As we’re talking, there are paparazzi in boats out in the harbor taking pictures. Having just been through the celebrity muck of Cannes, who gets it the worst?
CLOONEY: There’s no question, it’s Brad.
PITT: Well, exponentially, with us together …
CLOONEY: But even before he was with [Angelina Jolie], we used to chum the water with him.
PITT: This is not a joke. They used to send me out to take the hits.
CLOONEY: We were at the airport in Italy. So I walk off the plane, and it’s “Hey, Giorgio!” And I go, “Look! Brad Pitt!” and they’re gone.
DAMON: You described it once as “People were stepping on our faces trying to get to Brad.”
PITT: Ah, well, I don’t take it as a compliment.

I have read several articles and been on different sites that said Brad did not officially adopt the kids. Does anyone knows if he really did adopt the kids.

you dont know bp and its my choice to believe hes stuck up why wont he bp date normal women and not all celeb.women, and he doesnt like autographing,gc is not as nice as ya think either and him and bp think there the worlds gift jmo.theres other celeb men who are not stuck up, look at ben afl. he and garner sign aotographs and pose for cameras, bp and his gang only do it for the red carpet.jmo.

I agree. I think the only reason he sign autographs now is because Angelina has always been kind to her fans. She has always ran straight to her fans at all of her premieres . My opinion is Brad thinks he’s too good for the normal folk out there. GC and BP think they’re gods gift to planet earth. They suck!

Angelina being with Brad has made many changes in Brad’s life, but Him only signing autographs because He’s with her is not one of them.

Why is it all about looks for some? that’s the problem in this country. This country is not particularly known for it’s beautiful looking people so I can’t get “Matt isn’t good looking”. He is extremely talented The man’s writing is legendary. He and Ben’s story is practically a movie in itself. Matt is a very distinguised man in person. Very mature, serious about his work and no nonsense. I like to see the humor side of him come out because he’s known to be a serious person. These are the people who will be hiring the so called hot younger people coming up. I would pay attention and be nice.
I agree with Christian Bale and Clive Owen as being real talented stars. Johnny Depp. Ioan Griffud, etc….It’s all about the talent baby.
OMG, did you guys see the video on TMZ. I need a Mickey smackdown right now, damn he’s hot!

OMG too absurd! I find it really amusing how people can just make up lies to make some crappy point. FYI, there are a lot of Brad Pitt fans on this thread,and we know how great Brad is and has been to his fans. He has always taken the time to stop and sign autographs.
I like Angelina too, and I think she is great to her fans, but lying and putting Brad down is really low. Especially when you consider you are putting down the man she loves and the father of her children.
And especially since your opinion is not based on facts.

You say you are asking because you just want to know.. if that is true then you wouldnt have added “He says he has 4 kids, but did he legally adopt Pax…no he didn’t.”
This leads me to think you already had your mind made up and werent only just asking a question.
BTW.. you WERE answered by other posters, including myself and you are WRONG. Brad HAS adopted them, just as he will with Pax.

I think Matt is sexy and I love his smile. I love him in the Bourne movies and Ocean movies. And he is a great actor. I saw him in person here in N.Y and he’s quite handsome. He has really beautiful eyes…so yes I think he is hot
geesh… of course Pax is his kid.. why all the semantics? he has Brad’s name and that is the first step to adoption. In a few months he will be legally adopted by Brad. just like Brad did with Madd and Zee.
I just wonder why some seem to want it not to be true about the adoptions?

Can I just say that reading that Star is trying to take down US is about as funny a thing as I’ve read lately. Just tell those idiots to pull their heads out of their butts, take a whiff of fresh air and buy a frigging clue. Newsweek magazine reported last year that the adoptions were final “shortly before Shiloh’s birth”. BUT…the best proof of the adoptions being final is that Angelina herself has stressed innumerable times, “we are BOTH legally bound to our children…” In order for Brad to be legally bound to Z & Mad he would have to legally be their father by adoption. Angie has repeatedly said this in response to questions about why they haven’t gotten married yet. She even went as far to tell Reader’s Digest that being married DOES NOT give a parent LEGAL RIGHTS to an adopted child. The only thing that does that is to legally adopt the child…ergo, Brad is LEGALLY BOUND to Maddox and Zahara, therefore he is their LEGAL FATHER.
I know logic is anathema to a lot of the blog slogs out there, but damn…
…and another thing, George isn’t a day under 60 years old. Look at him getting off the boat pictures. ‘Ol man body for sure.

You know why the issue of Brad being a legal parent to Maddox, Zahara and Pax matters so much to the haters? Because they still desperately hold on to the hope that Brad will go back to X and take Shiloh with him. Shiloh, as in the biological child and the child Brad has legal custody to with Angelina.
If they can claim that Brad is not the legal parent of Mad, Z, and Pax, then it makes it easier for them to dream about Brad taking Shiloh with him and running back to his ex.
And Angelina will be left caring for the adopted kids.
That’s why these haters are h*ll bent on proving that Angelina doesn’t love Shiloh so when they dream that Brad takes Shiloh with him back to X, there will be no problem. Angelina won’t fight for the custody of a child she supposedly doesn’t love. And that’s why they keep bringing up the issue of Brad being a legal parent to all four kids.
They still want Brad to go back and cry to X and take Shiloh with him, because in the haters’ minds, Shiloh is only Brad’s daughter, not Angelina’s. They refuse to see that Brad is also the father of four kids, not one.
I know I repeated some things, but it need to be said twice for some people to understand.

Thank you for answering my question. Sorry but unfortunately I do not read all of the articles or watch all the interviews about Brad and Angie and I definitely do not buy tabloids magazine so most of the time I come on here to get the scoop on Brad and Angie.
