Time Magazine sat down with some of the stars of Ocean’s 13 — Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin — on the terrace at the Hotel du Cap in Cannes, France.
Here’s are some funny excerpts:
On the subject of charisma, you’ve each been called the last great movie star at one point or another. Are we really running out of movie stars, and is that, like, a problem?
CLOONEY: The last real movie stars were probably Redford and Newman. And things were different then. There wasn’t this amazing amount of magazines and information about them.
DAMON: We didn’t know anything about them.
CLOONEY: There was mystique. They’re 60 feet high, and you paid your buck and a half to go see them. But that’s gone. People know everything about everybody now.
PITT: Jaws came along and proved you could make huge money with blockbusters, and it set this thing in motion that has lowered the subject matter. People like George have been getting good stuff out there, but it’s an industry that pushes people out on the big stage too fast, before they’re ready, and it eats them up as well. It’s a different kind of arena now.
BARKIN: Think about it. Do we know anything about Robert Redford’s children? Does he even have any?
DAMON: I worked with him, and I don’t know.
PITT: I have four, if you haven’t heard.
As we’re talking, there are paparazzi in boats out in the harbor taking pictures. Having just been through the celebrity muck of Cannes, who gets it the worst?
CLOONEY: There’s no question, it’s Brad.
PITT: Well, exponentially, with us together …
CLOONEY: But even before he was with [Angelina Jolie], we used to chum the water with him.
PITT: This is not a joke. They used to send me out to take the hits.
CLOONEY: We were at the airport in Italy. So I walk off the plane, and it’s “Hey, Giorgio!” And I go, “Look! Brad Pitt!” and they’re gone.
DAMON: You described it once as “People were stepping on our faces trying to get to Brad.”
PITT: Ah, well, I don’t take it as a compliment.

i dont have to look at bp signing autographs its just for his movie and he even said in a interview hed olny date celeb women and i still think he doesnt like it,and gc is in love with bp literally, he even went to africa when poor aj was giving birth ,cause he couldnt stay away from bp and he just had to have bp on O13 its a fact ,gc made and excuse to go over there and mess with aj and bp during their time alone with family cause he literally is in love and i think he also has a crush on aj.so insult all you want i know what i read.its on other blogs.and i say they are stuck up but aj isnt shes all friendly.

-I don’t see you getting an argument here. We all like Matt. You are starting a battle for no reason at all. He**, I even like Christian Bale and Clive Owen. But I despise the prune coz, she is not a good actress nor good looking at all.
I hope an Oscar nomination for Brad will have you considered him a good and talented actor and so with George having an oscar for Syriana. It seems that these criterias are not good enough for you.

Everyone has their own particualr talent that they bring to the plate. What we the public know about these people is about 10 pecent of their lives no matter what the battling tabloids think they give us. George has his own talents he brings, Brad has his own, as does Matt, Don, Carl, Ellen and Al Pacino. They all bounce off each other and that’s when the creative process happens. It’s aldo where mutural respect id earned and friendships develop. It’s the clueless fans who act the fool by saying stupid things like Brad or George is hotter,. why are they hanging out with Matt or Matt is more talented, what could he possibly have in common with those two? or Al Pacino is an old man why would they want him (a movie icon who most actors would give their eyeteeth to work with)to be in their film? These are the same people who next year will be saying that Justin Timberlake is an Oscar caliber actor because he’s (yawn) “hot”.

…the best proof of the adoptions being final is that Angelina herself has stressed innumerable times, “we are BOTH legally bound to our children…” In order for Brad to be legally bound to Z & Mad he would have to legally be their father by adoption……

Thank you for answering my question. Sorry but unfortunately I do not read all of the articles or watch all the interviews about Brad and Angie and I definitely do not buy tabloids magazine so most of the time I come on here to get the scoop on Brad and Angie.

What I’ve found over the course of the last 2 years is it’s best not to read the comments at other sites - especially FF, Dlisted, & Perez. Aside from being hateful and malicious the people that frequent those sites have never had even a passing acquaintance with logic, reasoning, insight or truth. Some of them are borderline psychopaths and sociopaths. You can’t have a rational discussion with these people because their brainwaves are flat, the synapses no longer fire. In other words, they’re just too effing stupid to live. Somebody really needs to do a little euthanasia and pull the plug on those simpletons.

I actually love this family all I want is their fans to accept me here. But I feel sorry for Jen she doesn’t have a job, boyfriend or kids.

Once again I agree. GC has some weird mancrush on Brad pitt and I think he has something for Angelina too. If he could he would have them both perhaps at the same time.
Angelina is down to earth while Brad and GC are not.

Strange how just about everyone who meets Brad and spends time with him says the opposite. That Brad is a very kind and down to earth person. Even Matt Damon has said this. But hey.. what do THEY know?
well, i went to skim all the tabloids this week.
regarding us mag, they have NO new pic of Shi. The headlines about Shi is just hype. Like star mag said, us mag re-hashed all the past articles. The article is full of , “insider says, sources say…etc”. The mag used the florist woman’s real name, and a pic of 2 girls holding all the baloons. They also mentioned Kimmona Simmons who dropped off her 2 daughters in Cannes, and Mad played tag with the girls. Those are the 2 names.
us mag also said Angie held Shi’s hands to help her walking, and that Brad will let Shi crawl all over him. (Well, this isnt exclusive info, any child learning how to walk will have to be partially helped by the parents, plus Angie said in another mag that Shi is walking.)
us mag also mentioned x17 online has a video that Angie and Brad “rabidly” making out in the limo.
I hate them when us mag mentioned Angie’s blob comment, and those feel for her blah blah blah. The mag used these words, “….Angie’s infamous blob on Shiloh….”. The mag should have clarifed that the word was supplied to Angie. But of course, us mag purposely didnt do any clarification.

When Janice Min began carrying out the Jann Wenner-ordered “Fake News” hatchet jobs that we’ve grown so fond of, we knew it was only a matter of time before the tabs fought back. Up first is Star, which retaliated this afternoon with the web story “US Magazine’s Twisted Double Life!.”
The beef centers around Us‘ June 11 cover story “Inside Shiloh’s World: The secret home life of a daddy’s girl and the surprising truth about Mom,” which gave readers the idea that the Wenner weekly had uncovered untold scores of uber-exclusive details of what it’s like to live with Brad and Angelina as your parents.
Except, argues Star: “US Weekly’s revelations about Jolie-Pitt’s “secret home life” aren’t so secret after all. In fact, most of the article has been recycled from TV interviews and other magazines, including Reader’s Digest, U.K.’s Elle and Glamour!”
Oooh, unsourced reporting!
Says Star:
US Weekly’s fascinating revelations (that, ahem, they’ve totally “borrowed” from previously published interviews) include these riveting bon mots: Angelina loves spending time with her children, creating Easter baskets, and sharing play dates with her kids, their friends and the other moms. Yes, it sure sounds like Angelina is a terrific mother, according to US.
But hold on — that’s quite a different picture from the one Us Weekly recently painted of Jolie in it’s April 9 issue, whose cover story on Angelina blared: “Her Twisted Double Life!”
That feature — which, again, recycled previously published Jolie interviews from other publications — went on for eight pages, claiming Angelina had “broken her promise to be a stay-at-home mom” and that she had “secret fights with Brad over Pax’s adoption.” Of course, neither of these appear to be true: The couple is still together, and Jolie has just anounced that she will be taking a year off to be with her children.
Not that Star has ever used the reports of other outlets without credit, of course. Meanwhile, this hatchet job never would’ve happened if Bonnie Fuller – mentor to Us’s Min – were still in charge. But we’re on Candace Trunzo’s watch now. And if you don’t play nice with Candace, her gloves are coming off.

They expose all the Life and Style lies about Brad and Angie breaking up. They showed the front cover of over 10 L&S, write a synopsis of the story and have a verdict. For instance
L&S - Brad is still in love with Jen. He plans on going back to her.
Verdict - No reunion
L&S - Brad is spending more time at work, Jen sees this as a sign of problems between Angie and Brad. They are on the verge of a break up.
Verdict - No break up
L&S - Brad is talking to Jen, Angies thinks he’s about to break up with her.
Verdict - they are still going strong.

What I just don’t get is why do they think Brad would: 1. just take Shiloh- he loves ALL his kids! What sort of man would only take a bio kid? Not Brad…or don’t they know even the tiniest of who he is? 2. EVER go back to the ex (he has never gone backwards before) or 3. seeing how he likes to live his life NOW why the ex would take him back — it’s not the way she likes to live you know? Why do you think they have so much invested in a clearly unhappy marriage?
Well, in the writing from deep up their own @$$, we have L&S! roflmao :lol: BRAD is working a lot? He’s worked about a week in the past month (not including Cannes) :roll: WHY in the world would they write Brad is “still in love with the ex”? Are they the ONLY people in the know universe who missed the Cannes photos? And, funniest of all, to the best of ANYONE’s knowledge (and “confirmed” by ex’s people) they haven’t “talked” in ages! Jebus Christmas! You know, I might buy an issue full of love stuff, you know, like descriptions of the looks on the RC, they will NEVER get me with limp lies like they are telling!
