I never believed that BS story in the Star for a minute, even before Huvane put out the denial. And I don’t even like Jennifer Aniston. But I think she has too much class to put all her business out in the street.
As much as I dislike her, I don’t think she is writing a tell-all book. This story is from the tablloid magazines so is not true like the rest of the stories they wrote.

I did volenteer work in Nepal and I know
from expirience that there is nothing more rewarding then helping a needy child, the feeling is out of this world great. Angelina has Brad pitt, talent, Beauty beyond messure and all of this probably pales in comparison with the feeling of knowing you are making a difference in childrens life. If she just did a little volenteer work she would understand that Brad pitt leaving had nothing to do with her looks or anything else but a chance to finaly have a purpose, something that all this fame even the greatest amount of fame and popularity can’t give you. What I can’t understand is how she didn’t already understand that by seeing how it didn’t fufill Brad. Well I hope she finds true happiness.

I saw on the view some time ago and she didn’t seem capable of answering a single question coherently,finaly they asked her gave up on asking any questions of substance and started asking her about her hair and how she ate, she was suddently finaly able to answer some questions, it was really pathetic, I also noticed on Regis she was asked about how much she enjoyed being God mother to Coco, after saying it was wonderful and exquiste and every nice word in the book Regis asked her so do you ever babysit, and she just about yelled NO, thats not part of being a god mother. It was hilarious, you could see that Kelly and Regis were to say the least a little suprised by this and the Regis after regianing his composure tallked about how he to hated babysitting, so what can I say anistons true colors came out, if Brad had stayed with her he would have never had kids.

Please lily, try to understand global problems without an imperialist point of view. Global warming is because of the unequal use of energy by the developed country habitants. Do you know the per capita emissions in the US vs. in India? I will tell you: by 2003 19.3 and 1.19, respectively. Did you read about the colonial history of francophone Africa? Did you read about the great famine in India and think about it is not because lack of food but because of lack of entitlement? Have you ever thought about the “haves” and “have-nots” around the world? How about the landless poor? Infant and under 5 mortality is still very high, why do you think in many cultures, children are not named until their first birthday?
1960s were the times when the “population bomb” was the concern, today it is the unequal distribution of resources within and among countries. Some of you have only been here a while. The issue was never about whether she wanted to have kids. It was about the VF interview and things that were aimed at Brad. Whether she meant to try to hurt his career or him as a person is only known by her, but it didn’t work. Now seriously let me tell you, I was not a fan of Brad of Angie, In fact to this day I have only seen 2 or her movies and 2 of his. I have to be honest with you, if WILLIAM BRADLEY PITT tried to flirt with me when I was single and Angie’s age, I would have been on him like “white on rice!” I respect Angelina for not letting a good man escape-The cheating is a non-issue-most ppl with neuronal synapses know he didn’t-Jen said she was through and didn’t care what he did, so he did it. I can’t respect that attitude, but it was her choice. I have been married a long time, and I can tell you, giving up is not a part of the equation for happiness and yes it depends on the circumstances. But it would take a hell of a lot of circumstances for me to leave BRAD PITT! Please lily, try to understand global problems without an imperialist point of view. Global warming is because of the unequal use of energy by the developed country habitants. Do you know the per capita emissions in the US vs. in India? I will tell you: by 2003 19.3 and 1.19, respectively. Did you read about the colonial history of francophone Africa? Did you read about the great famine in India and think about it is not because lack of food but because of lack of entitlement? Have you ever thought about the “haves” and “have-nots” around the world? How about the landless poor? Infant and under 5 mortality is still very high, why do you think in many cultures, children are not named until their first birthday?
1960s were the times when the “population bomb” was the concern, today it is the unequal distribution of resources within and among countries. Before accusing other people’s life chances, try how much your life style is contributing to the problems around the world. Hope these will entice your curiosity and take you out of narrow mindset.

Curly - all you did by your statement was confirm what I said. Let’s see, overuse of resources by developed countries, and here I am talking about trying to control population in countries where you and me are at - which are developed countries.
The only reason why the US has more emissions than India is because the majority of the people don’t have access to those resources. But, I’ve been to India and that is all changing, and once those 1 billion persons have access to the same resources than in the US, you’ll see the numbers then.
Of course the deveoped countries misuse and overuse the resources, that is human nature - and the more people are on this earth the worse it would get.
Yes, there is child mortality, but that didn’t change anything in China did it? There is a reason why now there are millions of single children there.
Thanks for letting me you point of view, but I am not trying to accuse, I am also like you bringing my opinion to the subject.
As for doing my part to reduce consumption, I’ve already a headstart - I don’t live in the US.

Fertility rate in Europe is below the replacement rate, the US is the only developed country where fertility is above replacement rate (2.34 or something close to it). Both sides of the ocean have or are in the process of implementing strict immigration policies, so overpopulation is not a concern for exploitation of natural resources in the developed countries. Over- and misusing resources and following arguments such as “that is human nature” conceal the byproducts of the economic system that we live in. Tragedy of commons is not as prevalent as we think.
The population of India makes people shudder when it comes to resource use, but rarely the inequalities entrenched in India give people a second thought about future resource use. Bangladesh is one of the poorest and most populous countries, but it is already paying the price of global warming. So, “once those 1 billion persons have access to the same resources than in the US, you’ll see the numbers then.” is not a robust forecast, it is unlikely that those one billion will have the same access to resources before first paying the price of global warming.

For any mechanism that tries to engineer social policies, such as one-child policy in China, is doomed to counter unintended consequences eventually. The marriage system in China is already showing acute shortage of brides. Furthermore, because of one-child policy, China is not a good example for high child mortality. How about Haiti, lack of public health system combined with high fertility and high child mortality?
And lastly, not living in the US is not necessary and sufficient to give any random person an advantage when it comes to conservation of resources.

Why even compare Jen to Angie? Their divergent philosophy of life is so apparent to most of us.
Jen is a single woman in the late 30’s without any children by choice. She is extremely wealth, health nut, loves to fan, and spends most of her time doing exercise and spending time with her friends. While she gives money to charity, she does not actually volunteer to perform physical duty with them. Her fans usually comments about her right to live her life for herself, and shouldn’t appologize for not needing anyone.
Angie by contrast is in early 30’s and chosen to be a mother of four (while I agree with some post about overpopulation concerns, Angie’s is choosing to adopt already born children who need good home), UN Ambassador to Refugees, and a loving partner to one person. As most of you kept posting, she doesn’t really spend time exercising, tanning, or probably even have time to be a health nut. She chooses to spend her time with her kids and helping the needing all throughout the world. She keeps up with current events and interjects herself into global political discourse on abolishing poverty.
About when Angie was 25 years old, she examined her life and decided to change course on what is important to her life. She adopted Maddox and became UN Ambassador to Refugees (all before Brad).
No comparison. These women cannot be compared on any level. Some people may be more kin on living Jen’s life and others may admire Angie’s chosen path of life.
