Surprise! As predicted back in October 2006, Jennifer Aniston is officially the new spokesperson for electrolyte-pumping smartwater.
According to the press release, Aniston co-created a limited-edition smartwater label, available in July.
Billboards and print publications of Aniston’s ads, as shot her photographer pal Mario Testino, will be plastered everywhere this summer.
“We were thrilled that Jennifer discovered smartwater and realized what a difference it makes to her healthy lifestyle,” said Rohan Oza, Senior Vice President of Marketing, smartwater. “To us, Jennifer truly embodies what smartwater is all about as she combines substance and style like nobody else.”

If Jennifer was a person of substance, she would join Jay Z who is promoting action about this water issue, rather than selling expensive and unnecessary bottled water.

Dough Pitt ,Brad’s younger Brother and her X brother in law was also in this kind of project in Tanzania, Didn’t Huvaniston told the rag, her x husband family love her more than Angie and was still in regular contact with her ? may be she can gie Dough a call and donate some of this water to Tanzania.
…..the arm did not do much to conceal her best facial feature and it was even airbrushed to accentuate the chin—very creative. this shot was as bad as “that photo” she fought tooth & nail to be removed from the web (at least that showed her next best assets). surely, she has got to sue her pal photographer & get the ad photo altered REAL QUICK. +++++huh, BE WARNED….SHE DRINKS SMARTWATER. high five, Jill!

what i don’t get is why all the hype about electrolytes? most ppl don’t really understand human physiology-gatorade, powerade and other sports drimks contain electrolytes(charged ions)-the body has to maintain stability and when you exercise a lot you need to replace the ions you’ve lost-these are normally sodium(Na+), potassium(k+) and calcium(ca+)-these are regulated by hormones ans are necessary for stable metabolic function-bottom line-this is just water with sodium, calcium or poassium added

I understand the marketing concept behind Vitamin Water (get your vitamins while drinking the water) but what on earth is the marketing concept of SMARTWater? Get smart while drinking overpriced water? or is it for the intellectually challenged? How insulting!

Okay - you guys know I NEVER come to this thread to comment as I could care less about the ex, but I just can’t believe it. This is too funny - now Jen is shilling water like Donald Trump??!!! Good grief, talk about a bad PR move - we’ve all seen his stock go down the toilet (pardon the pun) in the past while. If she had half a brain she’d be getting on board with Jay-Z, as suggested previously. Personally, the only water I would dream of endorsing right now if I was a celebrity would be Ethos Water, which actually contributes some of its profits towards helping those who DON’T have clean drinking water develop the means to get it.
So on one hand you have Jennifer Aniston investing in a water company and shilling to make herself more money, and on the other hand you have Angelina Jolie doing UNHCR work and actually going to the countries that DON’T have clean drinking water to bring attention to this serious health issue. How bloody ironic is that? Having just been to a country where even the locals can’t drink their own water I think it’s pretty obvious who I support on this one. The only way JA could save face in this would be to actually donate 250 million litres of her stupid “Smartwater” to the UN for distribution to refugees and people who actually can’t turn on their darn tap and drink a glass of water from it.
Making money off of water with a few minerals added to it when 1 billion people don’t have clean drinking water on this planet just seems sick and absurd to me.

What evidence do you have that she stopped smoking. Because she said so. Please. She also said she had made up with her mother but there have been no reports of them getting together. She also said she would be starring with Meryl Streep in Wanted. All evidence is that Streep will be working until 2009 on other movies.

It’s no big deal, that’s PART of these endorsement deals nowadays. Anyone who has stock in the company (including you and I, lol) are technically ‘investors,’ but celebs willing to shill get a bigger slice of the pie and the shares are used to sweeten the business deal with the spokesperson.
For instance, 50 cent, has a 10% share in Vitamin Water (another Glaceau product) - they put that on the table when these celebs go shopping around for deals.
I just find who Glaceau is hiring to be HILARIOUS…50 cent (’Get shot 9 times and LIVE drinking ‘Vitamin Water‘) Jennifer Aniston (‘Let Brad Pitt - and his DNA, slip through your fingers, and become known as the most famous REJECT ever, yeah, this b*tch NEEDS ‘Smart’ water in a big way..smart food…smart shampoo…smart anything & everything, damn.’).
