These pictures show how dedicated Brad is. He could go to LA directly from Canada and waited for his family - everybody would understnad because it was really long distance to go back to Prague from Canada. But he went back to Prague. Action speaks louder than any words.

What? They’re going back to LA because the Los Angeles premier of Ocean’s 13 is tomorrow. It’s a planned trip and the kids are in their pajamas because they left very early in the morning. It’s a long flight from Prague to California

Like someone said upthread, it would have been easier for Brad to fly back to LA from Montreal, but instead he flies back to Prague just for a few days so they could all come back together. That is sweet.

Well what do you know? Daddy Brad flew back to Prague to pick up the fam. I thought he was at The Grove in LA…or in NOLA…or on the moon. A picture really is worth a thousand words LMAO

Like a few others have stated, he could have gone and stayed to wait for them to come to LA…instead he flew back over there just to fly right back. People can not like them as couple if they choose, but it’s OBVIOUS they are very devoted to each other and their family.

I think the first step is to try to navigate your way through some of that and see where your heart goes. That’s a big part of it. I do think it has to be personal. It has to be strong for it to last and grow, and then it will be a pleasure to work hard to do it.

I know people who now work in Washington, very high-powered jobs, who simply started as young people who decided they would just GET to different countries, and say, ‘I’ve got a pair of hands, and I’ll help—does anybody need me?’ There is a lot to be said for that. If you investigate, there are a lot of volunteer organizations, a lot of NGOs [non-governmental organizations], a lot of religious groups. But first I do think that there is something to knowing who you are and where your heart goes and what you feel you can contribute.”

On her involvement with AIDS orphans…
“A few months ago, we wanted to make a donation to AIDS orphans, to their education, to their well-being, to their survival, and we found that there wasn’t a main organization. There were some, but they were focused in different areas. Then we realized that there were no people lobbying for AIDS orphans, because they are not there to lobby for themselves. So we started a program where we would hire people and collect different lobbyists who had worked on different issues, to fight for THAT issue, to fight on behalf of the kids.”

“I love you, Brad” ends a not-so-secret 18-carat golden love-letter from Pitt to Angelina Jolie, offered shortly before the A-list couple flew in for the Cannes film festival last month.

Made by a master Paris engraver, the love-letter pendant, a miniature gold card slipped discreetly into a golden envelope, begins: “I find you in the morning sky, in the sound of children’s laughter, in the motion of every stirring wind.”

The around 1,500-euro piece of jewelry from Pitt to Jolie also includes a portrait of tiny Pax Thien, the last of three children adopted by the couple who also have a birth daughter, Shiloh, said a spokesman for the French luxury engraver and printer Cassegrain.

She never said that. She said it was hard at that time for alone time together. Those interviews were done right after she got home w/Pax. That was 3 mos ago.

Well, she really didn’t say that. I think she was just saying that it was a bit more difficult carving out mommy and daddy time. She did say in Readers Digest they have date time when the kids are asleep.. and alone time when the kids are watching a movie.

Her statements sound very normal to me. I think most parents can relate.

I don’t see the big deal. At least she is admitting they are trying to figure out alone time for themselves. This shows she realizes the importance of keeping the relationship healthy.

I agree, and I much prefer her honest way of speaking. I can definitely relate.

I also prefer her interviews to the ones where the celeb just keeps saying over and over how “amazing” everything is.

Angelina has already discussed this in Reader’s Digest. Pax got nervous when she’d leave the house for any length of time when he first got home. Again, that was 3 mos ago.

The Kids Rule

Angelina Jolie - Web Exclusive

In this Sunday’s PARADE, actress and activist Angelina Jolie opens up about the death of her mother, her relationship with Brad Pitt and what being a mother means to her. Below, in a Parade.com exclusive, Jolie talks about balancing kids and career, her American identity and how you can help the world.

On juggling kids and work…

“Brad and I are very lucky that we’re in a situation where we can choose to take turns, and one of us can be home with the kids, and so we kind of have that plan of who is doing what. So I have been home, and now I am going to go to work for a little bit, then he is going to work, then I am going to work, then basically we’re going to try to take a year off and just be with the kids. So certainly, we’re trying to find a few projects that we love or that we think would be good to do for one reason or another. But mainly our focus is, ‘OK, let’s look at our schedule, and try to figure out when we’re going to have our family time.’”

What it means to be an American…

“I think these days there’s been this wrong opinion that to be conscious and thoughtful of the rest of the world is not to be supportive of America. I think it is the core of what it is to be American. It’s why I’m proud to be American.”

On how to get involved…

“My advice for [those who want to help in the world]: People have the Internet, they have access to magazines, newspapers from other countries, they have access to human rights Web sites, U.N. Web sites, all kinds of discussions on many different things—justice, aid abroad, volunteer vacations. There are many things to explore.
I think the first step is to try to navigate your way through some of that and see where your heart goes. That’s a big part of it. I do think it has to be personal. It has to be strong for it to last and grow, and then it will be a pleasure to work hard to do it.
I know people who now work in Washington, very high-powered jobs, who simply started as young people who decided they would just GET to different countries, and say, ‘I’ve got a pair of hands, and I’ll help—does anybody need me?’ There is a lot to be said for that. If you investigate, there are a lot of volunteer organizations, a lot of NGOs [non-governmental organizations], a lot of religious groups. But first I do think that there is something to knowing who you are and where your heart goes and what you feel you can contribute.”

On her involvement with AIDS orphans…

“A few months ago, we wanted to make a donation to AIDS orphans, to their education, to their well-being, to their survival, and we found that there wasn’t a main organization. There were some, but they were focused in different areas. Then we realized that there were no people lobbying for AIDS orphans, because they are not there to lobby for themselves. So we started a program where we would hire people and collect different lobbyists who had worked on different issues, to fight for THAT issue, to fight on behalf of the kids.”

Who said he dedicated the poem if the story is true? He took a phrase out of a poem he liked and engraved it on something for her. That does not mean that the entire poem apllies only the words on the back of his gift.

PARIS (AFP) - “I love you, Brad” ends a not-so-secret 18-carat golden love-letter from Pitt to Angelina Jolie, offered shortly before the A-list couple flew in for the Cannes film festival last month.

Made by a master Paris engraver, the love-letter pendant, a miniature gold card slipped discreetly into a golden envelope, begins: “I find you in the morning sky, in the sound of children’s laughter, in the motion of every stirring wind.”

“I love you, Brad,” the message ends.

The around 1,500-euro piece of jewelry from Pitt to Jolie also includes a portrait of tiny Pax Thien, the last of three children adopted by the couple who also have a birth daughter, Shiloh, said a spokesman for the French luxury engraver and printer Cassegrain.

Jolie said last month she plans to take an entire year off from acting to spend time with her family in 2008.

Jolie told People magazine’s online edition in an interview on the sidelines of the Cannes filmfest that she would take a sabbatical after completing work on several projects later this year.

The couple took their children along to Cannes for the promotion of their new film, “A Mighty Heart”. Starring Jolie and produced by Pitt, the movie directed by Michael Winterbottom is about the murder of US reporter Daniel Pearl by Islamic extremists.

Yeah remember the ring that Brad was specifically designing for Angelina with an Italian jeweler who created things for royalty? Even though it’s a nice story there are probably many more that are authentic that the public does not know about.

No “luxury” company would have a “spokesman” spill the details of what is a personal and private purchase. They would never hear form Brad OR Angelina again. And if you really read the article, it smells like a publicist’s planted item (publicist for the company, that is).

Ok, so I was on my way to work this morning, listening to NPR as per habit. At 8AM PST, Steve Inskeep mentioned that it was Angelina’s birthday. In the announcement, they briefly listed her accomplisments, that she’s an adopted mother, humanitarian, actress, Goodwill Ambassador, etc, etc. I thought it was funny that they mentioned she is also a “tabloid star”, hehe, here even NPR is also aware of Angelina’s ubiquitous presence in tabloids. Oh yeah, he said, all that and she is “just 32″. Thought I’d share… Go Angie!!!
