To celebrate Angelina Jolie’s 32nd birthday, here is her cover and inside photo spread from the upcoming issue of Esquire Magazine. Angelina is sporting some sort of thumb-pointer-finger ring in the armchair shot. How bizarre… but beautiful!
On Pax sleeping in the same bed as Brad & Angie: “Right now, Pax is sleeping in our bed. It’s kind of nice, him immediately knowing and feeling comfortable with us. Madd slept with me until Brad and I got together. They’re fun to sleep with. We have family sleep on Sundays. Everybody sleeps together.”
On wanting to be remembered for being more than an actress: “I have no animosity toward Hollywood or the demands of the red carpet, all that silliness. That’s my job, and I’m happy to have it. But when I die, do I want to be remembered as an actress? No. I recently had an op-ed (column) published in a newspaper. And at the end, it didn’t say I was an actress. It said that I was a UN goodwill ambassador and that’s all. And I was really proud.”
On finding meaning as a citizen of the world: “I entered this business before I had focus and purpose in my life. I was very unhappy, very unhealthy, and when I sat down for an interview, I didn’t know why. I felt like I didn’t have anything to share. It was a very empty time.”
On splitting time with her children: “I try to make sure that each of my children has enough of my attention to feel equal. I try to make sure that my relationship with the man in my life is solid and complete and we’re very connected and having a great life together and enjoying our children and being part of the world. So that’s my life.”
On being a homebody as of late: “We don’t go to parties. We hardly ever leave the house. We try to schedule time when we’re alone.”
On switching things up with their lives and their children: “Some people have their lives together and then they have their children. Brad and I are starting with the children and are planning to have our time together in our later years.”

Just want to say MAGANDANG KAARAWAN…MAAYONG ADLAW…HAPPY, HAPPY BDAY TO THE MOST INSPIRING PERSON I’VE EVER KNOWN…TO THE MOST ADMIRABLE PERSON WHO MADE SUCH A TREMENDOUS IMPACT I’VE EVER KNOWN..A WOMAN WHO TOUCHES SO MANY LIVES AROUND THE WORLD….A person who can’t help it but be admired & be envied by a lot of people even by her “haters”. Sometimes I think some of those who continuously criticize her are really in denial. Denial in a sense that they can’t admit how Angie touches their lives too. They envy her kindness. They envy her beauty. They envy her body. They envy how smart she is. They envy her talent. They envy her totality. THEY ENVY THAT SUCH A HUMAN BEING REALLY DOES EXIST!! They just can’t believe it.
Well, I do believe that a person can exist. Proof is Angie. Angie never lives on pretenses. She never has & never will. She is always her own person. Yes, she had her dark years but she paid her dues. She learned her lesson. She bounced back & decided to be a better person not necessarily to please others BUT FOR HER OWN SELF, FOR HER OWN PERSON.
I thank God for the birth of Angie on the 4th day of June in the year 1975. With her existence, people is inspired with the kind of life she lives in this world. The examples she set to everyone, EFFORTLESSLY. The pure heart she has.
What is so wonderful about her is that she has found her real PURPOSE IN LIFE. The happiness she has right now of finding the true meaning in life.The life-changing experience during her exposure to needy countries is what made her realized & felt somewhat guilty & asked herself why she’s so blessed, and why a lot of people are suffering. That’s why in her own little way, she’s doing her part.
Hope each one of us also find our true purpose in life.

Paris - “I love you, Brad” ends a not-so-secret 18-carat golden love-letter from Pitt to Angelina Jolie, offered shortly before the A-list couple flew in for the Cannes film festival last month.
Made by a master Paris engraver, the love-letter pendant, a miniature gold card slipped discreetly into a golden envelope, begins: “I find you in the morning sky, in the sound of children’s laughter, in the motion of every stirring wind.”
“I love you, Brad,” the message ends.
The around €1 500-piece of jewellery from Pitt to Jolie also includes a portrait of tiny Pax Thien, the last of three children adopted by the couple who also have a birth daughter, Shiloh, said a spokesperson for the French luxury engraver and printer Cassegrain.

Comparing the Esquire article with the Marie Claire article is apples/oranges, since they each focused on completely different areas of Jolie’s life.
