OlderAngelina Jolie - “Esquire” June 2007
To celebrate Angelina Jolie’s 32nd birthday, here is her cover and inside photo spread from the upcoming issue of Esquire Magazine. Angelina is sporting some sort of thumb-pointer-finger ring in the armchair shot. How bizarre… but beautiful!
On Pax sleeping in the same bed as Brad & Angie: “Right now, Pax is sleeping in our bed. It’s kind of nice, him immediately knowing and feeling comfortable with us. Madd slept with me until Brad and I got together. They’re fun to sleep with. We have family sleep on Sundays. Everybody sleeps together.”
On wanting to be remembered for being more than an actress: “I have no animosity toward Hollywood or the demands of the red carpet, all that silliness. That’s my job, and I’m happy to have it. But when I die, do I want to be remembered as an actress? No. I recently had an op-ed (column) published in a newspaper. And at the end, it didn’t say I was an actress. It said that I was a UN goodwill ambassador and that’s all. And I was really proud.”
On finding meaning as a citizen of the world: “I entered this business before I had focus and purpose in my life. I was very unhappy, very unhealthy, and when I sat down for an interview, I didn’t know why. I felt like I didn’t have anything to share. It was a very empty time.”
On splitting time with her children: “I try to make sure that each of my children has enough of my attention to feel equal. I try to make sure that my relationship with the man in my life is solid and complete and we’re very connected and having a great life together and enjoying our children and being part of the world. So that’s my life.”
On being a homebody as of late: “We don’t go to parties. We hardly ever leave the house. We try to schedule time when we’re alone.”
On switching things up with their lives and their children: “Some people have their lives together and then they have their children. Brad and I are starting with the children and are planning to have our time together in our later years.”

You have done more in your 32 years of life than most people do in a lifetime. You could have chosen the frivilous life of most actresses, but you dared to be different, you chose to walk the less travelled path, and I am sure your life has been more enriched and rewarding for it.

I am sure the prayers of all the refugees and displaced people of the world that you have told their story will always protect you and yours.

These pictures are certainly beautiful although they do not have anything in common with reality any more.
Any person could look like this. It’s a complete piece of artswork though - great but completely photoshopped.
So don’t get too crazy over this. This has nothing to do with what Angelina looks in real life.
By this pictures you can neither tell that she is too skinny or whatever else people on this blog generally have to complain about nor can be said she is just too beautiful.
As I said it’s modern art but has nothing in common any more with the person shown.
You would be amazed how easy it is to pick a random person from the streets and make him or her look just as great as Angelina does on these pictures.
So guys don’t get overexited

Yes I knwo the ring is from the shoot, but my friend also happens to be a friend with the designer of the ring, Betony Vernon. Betony’s jewellery is sold at Coco De Mer in London where Angelina has shopped and often has things shipped over to her. I know because the same friend works at Coco.
As for Betony’s jewellery, why don’t you google her name and find out what her jewellery is about! Jesus!
