Brad Pitt Makes Strong “Impression”
Ocean’s 13 stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt (in Dolce & Gabbana) and Matt Damon kick Tuesday morning off in Hollywood, making a strong “impression” at the famed forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
Surrounded by cheering fans and friends, Brad, George, Matt and producer Jerry Weintraub had their hand and footprints immortalized in cement in the The Hand & Footprint Ceremony.
George joked, “I have to say, if I had to be on my hands and feet, I’d like it to be with these three guys.”

Angelina Jolie says she’s mystified by Brad Pitt’s power to get her to come out of her shell – but being naked helps.
“I don’t know how he does it, but … I talk a lot in the bath,” the actress and UN goodwill ambassador, 32, tells Marie Claire magazine for its July issue. “It’s easier to talk when you’re naked … Get naked with me, and I’ll talk!”
Jolie, who had been a single mother to her son Maddox, 5, before meeting Pitt, also says she’s so grateful for the actor’s presence in the lives of her kids.
“I’m so happy for my children – especially Mad,” Jolie tells the magazine, which hits newsstands June 12. “I didn’t know if he was ever going to have a dad. So when I watch them having real strong father-son time, or even when Mad tells me, ‘This is a boy thing, Mom’ – it’s just really beautiful to see.”
In addition to Maddox, Jolie and Pitt are parents to Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1, and Pax Thien, 3, who was legally given the last name Jolie-Pitt last week.
As for her own relationship with Pitt, Jolie says that their connection has grown over time – despite many changes in their family life.
“I think we both went on a lot of faith – we really did,” she says. “Our family has grown very quickly, and we have a lot of responsibility together, and we acknowledge that we are lucky we turned out be for each other everything we’d hoped. We could have been very wrong, but every challenge we hit has brought us closer. It has been that kind of relationship.”
Jolie, who recently said she plans to take a year off work, also tells the magazine that her career helps her in her personal life as well.
“My work has always been a great way for me to deal with things in my life,” she says – especially when it came to her new movie A Mighty Heart, in which she plays the real-life Mariane Pearl, widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
“Focusing on that story on a daily basis, you certainly don’t worry about your life,” she says in excerpts provided by the magazine. “I mean, there isn’t a better film to make you hyperaware that you should complain about nothing.”

George is entirely too thin. He probably is that way bcz he just finished working on a film or is getting ready to start another film, but he doesn’t look good this thin at all. And if it’s aging he’s worried about, he needs some collagen injections now! And stay out of the sun. As you age, you turn leathery from too much sun! But I do like them together.

NEW YORK: Angelina Jolie, who won an Oscar for 1999’s “Girl, Interrupted,” says she wants to be remembered for her humanitarian work.
“I have no animosity toward Hollywood or the demands of the red carpet, all that silliness,” Jolie, 32, tells Esquire magazine in its upcoming July issue. “That’s my job, and I’m happy to have it. But when I die, do I want to be remembered as an actress? No.”
“I recently had an op-ed (column) published in a newspaper,” she continues. “And at the end, it didn’t say I was an actress. It said that I was a UN goodwill ambassador — that’s all. And I was really proud.”
Jolie, an activist for issues ranging from global poverty to wildlife conservation, says she has found meaning as a citizen of the world.
“I entered this business before I had focus and purpose in my life,” says Jolie. “I was very unhappy, very unhealthy, and when I sat down for an interview, I didn’t know why. I felt like I didn’t have anything to share. It was a very empty time.”

Today, her life is far from empty. Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, 43, have four children: 5-year-old Maddox, who was adopted from Cambodia; 3-year-old Pax Thien, who was adopted from Vietnam; 2-year-old Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia; and daughter, Shiloh, who was born to the couple a year ago.
“I try to make sure that each of my children has enough of my attention to feel equal. I try to make sure that my relationship with the man in my life is solid and complete and we’re very connected and having a great life together and enjoying our children and being part of the world. So that’s my life,” she says.
“We don’t go to parties. We hardly ever leave the house. We try to schedule time when we’re alone,” says Jolie, who sports various tattoos, wore a vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck during their marriage, and was blamed for Pitt’s divorce from Jennifer Aniston — which Pitt has denied.
“Right now, Pax is sleeping in our bed. It’s kind of nice, him immediately knowing and feeling comfortable with us,” she says. “Madd slept with me until Brad and I got together. They’re fun to sleep with. We have family sleep on Sundays. Everybody sleeps together.”

Angelina is as smart as they come. She gets her messages out without any filtering no matter what the publication is. She needs no PR. And anyone who thinks that Brad has not seen these articles before publication and is not OK with them is naive. Remember she has said that he is the first to review her Op Ed pieces. It is obvious that they integrate their lives well.
The Esquire article is more about Angelina the sexy humanitarian. The Marie Clare article is about Angelina the loving partner and mother and warm fuzzy family life. The Parade article is about Angelina the proud mother, partner, American, and crusader.
The PEOPLE article says where her heart is, with Brad and their kids. She lets all know that Brad is her real man, who is able to get her to open up to him as no one else has ever been able to do so. She lays it out as plainly as possible-how their experiences together have just made them that much closer, that they are not having any relationship troubles, that their hopes based on faith for their relationship have all been realized.
No matter how much some attempt to twist her words as they always do in a desperate attempt to make their fantasies and lies reality, reality is a solid loving couple with four little munchkins today with more munchkins to come. Angelina and Brad are very happy together, and that is Angelina’s main message to the world.

I agree. I have been a fan just as long. Gwyneth said some nice things and so did juliette.. but Angie is different. You can really tell she appreciates Brad for who he is and not what he can do for her.. and not someone who SHUTS THE DOOR AND PICKS SOMETHING UP OFF THE FLOOR WHEN SHE SAYS TO.

Pakistan arrests 2 suspects in Daniel Pearl case Tue Jun 5, 6:29 AM ET
Pakistani police have arrested two Islamist militants suspected of involvement in the 2002 kidnapping and murder of U.S. reporter Daniel Pearl, government officials said on Tuesday.
Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter, was kidnapped in the city of Karachi in January 2002 while he was researching a story on Islamist militants. He was later found beheaded.
A British Islamist militant has been sentenced to death for the murder.
The two new suspects were arrested on Monday in Kashmore, a remote town near the border of southern Sindh and southwestern Baluchistan provinces.
“Both were suspected in the Daniel Pearl case. They are being interrogated,” Waseem Akhtar, Sindh provincial government adviser on home affairs told Reuters.
He identified the two as Ata-ur-Rehman, alias Naeem Bokhari, and Faisal Bhatti. He gave no more details.
Kashmore’s police chief Noor Ahmed Paicho said the pair belonged to Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, a Sunni Muslim militant group with links to al Qaeda.
He said they were arrested as they were traveling in a taxi to Baluchistan.
Police recovered ten hand grenades, two AK-47 assault rifles, two pistols and explosives from them, Paicho said.
A court in Karachi sentenced British-born Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, or Sheikh Omar, to death in 2002 for his role in Pearl’s kidnapping and murder. Three co-accused were jailed for life.
The convicts appealed to the Sindh High Court in July 2002. The government also appealed to the same court, asking for enhancement of the punishment for the co-accused.
But court hearings have been repeatedly postponed, mostly because of the absence of lawyers representing the convicts.
Under Pakistani law, a convict has the right to appeal in superior courts but no case can be heard if one of the lawyers of the convict is absent.

It seems to me that Brad has found the fountain of youth with Angelina. He is looking younger and younger, and that is so obvious when he is standing next to GeorgeC (who is looking very thin). I hope that George’s thinner look was for that movie he just finished.
Four children under six, almost constant travel across different time zones, and Brad is aging backwards. Is it possible that BB is for real? Or is it that Brad is so dam* happy now with his life and family? LOL.

Brad will be on one of the July issues of the Bono edited Africa issue. It was on Oprah. She is on two covers and Brad is on one of them as is George and Don Cheadle and many others (Iman is on one as is David Bowie). It seems like there will be 20 covers and which area of the country gets which cover is still up in the air. It comes out next week.

I am an Angie fan but personally I prefer less information about her. The less I know the more intrigued I get. The info. about her being naked makes me cringe coz it makes her vulnerable to attacks from the haters. Considering that Brad has never said anything about their relationship,,, my opinion is that she should say less when interviewed coz she will always be misinterpreted.
Maybe Brad is a private person but am just curious that he has never said anything intimate about his significant other,,,,, I know actions speak louder than words. I just hope he is not ashamed of her,,, I saw the video of the premier in Cannes and he was avoiding public intimacy,,,that pissed me off. Well just hope his heart is in the right place. Jen also said she wasn’t sure if he was the love of her life. So why is anybody surprised that they broke up? Do they sound like two people who made a life-long pact to be together? They were just basically staying together until something better came along.

You seem to be catching my drift. The same is the case with these 2 why do you think they insist they won’t get married? Because forever after is not for everyone people can fall out of love nomatter how intense it might seem to start with. The reason I don’t trust Brad is he didn’t hang around much before moving on whereas Angie stayed celibate for over a year after her divorce:- Angie wasn’t going to roll on her back for just anyone, he thought she was good enough and worthy of throwing away his 7yr relationship this is what makes me question- At some point in the future when he thinks life is boring again will he not run to whoever will be worthy to throw away everything for? Even Angie herself said she doesn’t trust anyone including Brad and I think I understand why. And those that think Jen is my idol well you’re wrong. So those stories that said that Brad stayed in the room with Angelina and Shiloh until they were discharged from the hospital were true. He is indeed a man.
How wonderful that Angelina was able to share Shiloh’s birth with her Mom. I remember reading that her Mom was ill when Shiloh was born. But also how bittersweet that they were both in the hospital under the same assumed name and on morphine at the same time.
As for her own relationship with Pitt, Jolie says that their connection has grown over time – despite many changes in their family life.

It happens when a man has had his heart broken and when someone is there to catch him at such a weak moment (not saying your idol took advantage of the situation but she should have known that it wasn’t a good start). That’s the danger of a rebound relationship. It could end at any given moment because it was not strong enough to begin with.
Now, with Angie, he fell like a ton of bricks. We’ve seen that he was willing to risk all just to be with her. Add to that the fact that he was able to realize his dream of becoming a father and an ideal partnership with her. He was not looking for an arm candy but someone to complete his life.
