There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Maggie breastfeeding in public. Breasts are for feeding. That’s what they’re there for! I think she’s a very confident woman for doing this and she should be praised. I think that people should change their views on public breastfeeding.

‘compelled to breastfeed’??? I always laugh when I hear something like this from someone who has obviously never breastfed a child. A mother is not compelled to feed her child, she feeds her child when the child is hungry. It’s simple supply & demand sweetie. I’m sure a lot of moms can tell you, there’s no stopping a baby who wants to eat. Would you rather her force Ramona to go hungry and fuss & cry? Then you would complain that the baby’s crying was disrupting your meal. You just can’t win with people unless you’re forcing an artificial rubber nipple in your child’s mouth!

Personally, I wouldn’t bare that much of my breast in public. I would feel uncomfortable. But that’s just me. I feel that this is a personal decision to be made by each mother. Kudos to Maggie. She’s obviously very confident in her body…hence the full frontal nudity in “Secretary” and “Sherry Baby.” Anyone have any problems with that nudity???

There’s nothing lewd about what she’s doing…public breastfeeding is protected by legislation. America: either get on board or look away and get over it…

Breastfeeding in public is fine, when done discreetly. Seeing a women’s breast can cause some people to be uncomfortable, even though the act of breastfeeding is very natural. Also, a women’s lactating breast isn’t really that attractive. So just cover it up.

oh please. You people are such a joke. What kind of world are we living in where people get disgusted in seeing a mother breastfeed her child? Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things to do in this world and if you don’t feel comfortable seeing that, regardless if you’re at a restaurant or not, then you have a serious problem.

She’s not posing for the camera or even posing nude for some magazine. She didn’t whip out her breast for display or for show, she only did it so she can feed her child.

And some of you need to go to school and do some research to realize that breastfed milk is way HEALTHIER than artificial milk and it is truly important for a baby to suck on the breast rather than drink the milk from a bottle. Its a bonding experience for both mother and child and do I also have to get into the nutritional value of breastfed milk compared to artificial milk thrown together into a bottle?

She must have seen the paparazzi taking her photo…after she was caught three days ago doing this in a park. She’s using that poor baby as a political statement and to gain publicity. I guess Angelina has been tutoring hollywood on using their children to grab the headlines. Why else would an intelligent, educated woman feel the need to expose herself like that? I don’t care how natural it is,it’s still one of those areas better left a mystery. This poor child better be home-schooled, she’ll never live down the photo of her chewing on her mother’s breast.

She seriously needs to take a breastfeeding class….that is not a hungry baby and a mother is not a chew toy. She’s using a stroller, not a sling like most mothers that are all about ‘the bonding time’ so she should be able to tone down the nursing in public. I have nothing against a mother(blanket or not) who discreetly nurses anywhere,I don’t like the hang it all out there stuff. I don’t think we should have to explain this to children who may witness it. They’re told that’s a private area, not to expose those areas covered by bathing suits…unless you’re making a statement.It’s not like anyone could miss her chewing and stretching her mother’s breast right out there in the open.
