OlderJolie Joins Council on Foreign Relations
UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie has joined forces with foreign policy organization Council on Foreign Relations, reports People.
Other members include: presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and journalist Tom Brokaw.
Vice president of communications at CFR Lisa Shields said, “Angelina Jolie is accomplished in her field and has demonstrated serious interest in issues such as Darfur, international education and refugees. As such, her profile fits very well with other young professionals we’ve selected as the next generation of foreign policy leaders.”
Jolie recently told Esquire in their June issue: “When I die, do I want to be remembered as an actress? No. I recently had a column published in a newspaper and at the end it didn’t say I was an actress. It said that I was a UN Goodwill Ambassador – that’s all. And I was really proud.”

BTW - Did anyone see the new AMH commercial? I’m trying to find it on the web because I happened to catch it but the audio wasn’t on. I walked into a room where the person had the TV on, but not the audio. So, I want to see it again because it’s totally different than what we’ve seen already. Oh well…hopefully it’ll pop up again on the TV as we get closer to the release date.

Oh man, was still catching up on the last thread — PT that ‘win-win’ comment about Angie wrapping was hysterical.
You know what I think is going on, they are very obviously BABY MAKING, and Angie might be more, er, strict, LOL - about his not smoking while they try to get preg, since of course If you think about when it was, that Angie did her ‘wrapping up in love,’ to get Brad to lay off the ciggies, it was when they were trying to conceive Shiloh in Alberta. Well, I figure they’re trying for same now, and Brad has probably been really abstaining from the cigs moreso now, than he has previously, because they are trying to conceive. Yippee! So yeah, I could see Angie busting his balls in a cute way if he slips up these days, if in fact they are trying to conceive. :-)
