“I hope we got some part of Danny’s life and spirit in this movie,” Jolie said to Judea and Ruth. “I hope that we have made something that speaks to you and to his work.”
The sold-out event raised more than $15,000 for the Daniel Pearl Foundation which was formed in memory of journalist Daniel Pearl and is committed to promoting cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music, and innovative communications.
Just Jared caught a screening of A Mighty Heart last night and let’s just say it was beyond moving. [Spoilers ahead!] The documentary-style drama is very real and very emotional. The UK Times summed up the editing best: “The director’s rapid-fire and choppy editing gives you a genuine feel for the many different sides of Karachi, and the urgency of the investigation.”
Angie’s screams of anguish as Marianne Pearl are intense and will have you writhing in your theater seat. Memorable moments include the wedding flashback scene, Angelina dancing (with a bit of tummy showing, if I remember correctly) and the birthing scene of son Adam.
But don’t fret my pets, the ending scene is sweet. There are captions of “current updates” about the Pearls as you watch the backs of Marianne and Adam walking away hand-in-hand. The music also perfectly matched up — I was whistling the tune on my way out of the theater!
A Mighty Heart opens June 22. Catch it if you can!

Funny how all of dog the ex but have an absolute mental break down when someone dishes B&A .. not one of are are strong of to be JA and take the heat for marrying the biggest mimbo in hollywood. All that is said about her and you fruit have a melt down when something is said about someone you dont even know? JA can endure more in pinky toe then all of you put together.

While I like the Jungle Sex, the parental, the socially conscious/responsible, and classic movie star aspects of these two, the thought of these two being playful is just delicious.

I agree with you. I’m sorry if this doesn’t sit well with some JP fans but you can’t keep flagging comments just because they aren’t positive comments. You call more attention to these stupid comments (not to talk of giving the writers more importance than they are worth). I see people getting worked up because someone said BP needs a Botox….I mean seriously?!!
The flag button was put in place for Racist and truly disgusting comments. Let’s not abuse it or we might lose it. Think about it, everytime we flag, Jared has to take time off from whatever he’s doing to look through the posts. Reposting from the previous thread, I can see all the delusional twits who think their hate means anything. It must hurt to see Brad and Angie succeed in everything they do.
The Inside Edition coverage was the best for me, it was short but very informative. Not only were there the only ones that caught Brad caressing Angie’s a s s(I can’t imagine how she looked so calm)it was also their reporter that pointed out that the loudest cheer from the crowd was for Angie, who was not even in the movie.
That tells me that tabloids campaign of hate and villification of this woman has failed, and the mini van minority are only vocal on the blogs. When it comes to real life, where people show their faces and are not hiding behind the computer and a screen name, Brad and Angie rules.
I have always believed that, but Cannes and O13 LA premiere proved it beyond any doubt for me, and watching the video of Brad being naughty would have shut up all those that have been screaming, there is no love between them, the passion between them is so palpable you have to be totally stupid not to acknowledge it.
Next stop, NYC, Brad and Angie continues their domination of Hollywood, I could care less about some contrived, contracted relationship, announced to steal the thunder from Brad’s premiere. As if that is ever going to happen.

I think most of the fans here feel the way AG does. To overuse the flag button is pointless b/c it doesn’t stop the hate and I must admit, I don’t mind reading the haters opinions b/c it’s just that….THEIR OPINIONS and I feel everyone should express it even if it does suck. As the saying goes…”Opinions are like armpits, everyone has one and it often stinks”.

they are laughing brad was grabbing angie’s butt and so she kicked him and then he kicked her back (they were tiny kicks as they were walking) but it was really cute! they really look in love. just cracking up and grabbing each other whenever they got the chance. it was hot.
Love it! Like I said they have this “kids thing” that is so sweet and cute.
