OlderAngelina Jolie @ “A Mighty Heart” Screening

“I hope we got some part of Danny’s life and spirit in this movie,” Jolie said to Judea and Ruth. “I hope that we have made something that speaks to you and to his work.”
The sold-out event raised more than $15,000 for the Daniel Pearl Foundation which was formed in memory of journalist Daniel Pearl and is committed to promoting cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music, and innovative communications.
Just Jared caught a screening of A Mighty Heart last night and let’s just say it was beyond moving. [Spoilers ahead!] The documentary-style drama is very real and very emotional. The UK Times summed up the editing best: “The director’s rapid-fire and choppy editing gives you a genuine feel for the many different sides of Karachi, and the urgency of the investigation.”
Angie’s screams of anguish as Marianne Pearl are intense and will have you writhing in your theater seat. Memorable moments include the wedding flashback scene, Angelina dancing (with a bit of tummy showing, if I remember correctly) and the birthing scene of son Adam.
But don’t fret my pets, the ending scene is sweet. There are captions of “current updates” about the Pearls as you watch the backs of Marianne and Adam walking away hand-in-hand. The music also perfectly matched up — I was whistling the tune on my way out of the theater!
A Mighty Heart opens June 22. Catch it if you can!

I agree with you. I’m sorry if this doesn’t sit well with some JP fans but you can’t keep flagging comments just because they aren’t positive comments. You call more attention to these stupid comments (not to talk of giving the writers more importance than they are worth). I see people getting worked up because someone said BP needs a Botox….I mean seriously?!!
The flag button was put in place for Racist and truly disgusting comments. Let’s not abuse it or we might lose it. Think about it, everytime we flag, Jared has to take time off from whatever he’s doing to look through the posts. I’m sure it’s time consuming and who knows, he just might decide it’s not worth the headache (he probably won’t but still…let’s be a little wise with the way we use the button)

Those posting negative opinions can post all they want until their fingers get numb. I don’t call them “haters”, they are losers. Because it shows these kind of people are a bunch of losers, trouble makers and don’t have nothing better to do in their useless lives. They face some nice situations and they can’t handle it, so they attack and attack and attack. So losers do all you want to do and say all you want to say, the truth are there to stay.
Oh my word….look at the fanistons, they’ve completely lost it. Now they’ve moved on to posing as JP fans and posting death threats. If this wasn’t so tired and over done….it would be funny. You know, it is still hilarious. These people are so far gone, I fear we’ve lost them. Sad, pretty sad.
Another thing to remember, when you have “Mmmmmm” and “Just saying” going to a thread about a journalist who was beheaded and write their hate of Jolie and Pitt there…tells you all that you need to know about these two…

Ialso betcha if this thread was about a girl raped and killed by a militia in another part of the world…and Angelina and DFullerman are shown standing beside the girls parents…at a fundraising events for tortured and maimed little kids from all over the world…

Jennifer Aniston is dating British model Paul Sculfor, but it’s definitely not exclusively. Despite reports that Sculfor, 36, and Aniston, 38, are an item, a friend of Aniston tells Usmagazine.com , “I wouldn’t say he is her boyfriend.”
