Actress Ellen Barkin lets Brad Pitt borrow her back to sign autographs at the CineVegas opening night premiere of Ocean’s Thirteen on Wednesday at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brad sported a new marking on his left hand — new cross tattoo or just a Sharpie marker drawing?
The Ocean’s 13’s producer Jerry Weintraub was honored with the Vanguard Producer Award during opening night festivities—Lights, Camera, Take Action.
The premiere benefited the aid group, International Rescue Committee for Not On Our Watch, an organization whose initial campaign is to support existing Darfur humanitarian relief efforts and to ensure the protection of civilians in that region.

Yummy Brad rockin’ the Wayfarers! And yes, his eyes are sensitive to light - v. common for people with light blue eyes. I wear shades even when it’s cloudy sometimes.
Other people are wearing sun glasses. I don’t get why people make a big deal out of him wearing them? Brad has always worn them. I bet he has a million pair. I also think that mark on his hand is just sharpie ink.

Sharon - ITA - love these pics but last night was THE HOTNESS! Like Lainey’s report said today, you could just feel the heat between them last night. Whew!!
Based on a couple of the pics, it seems bright outside. An hour or few before sunset, and of course, there’s the flash photography. I can see why the sunglasses would be useful.
Glasses aside, he’s still quite a sight.

LMAO at the counter marketing by film studios. They have been promoting the “other” Oceans film that will open the same day as Ocean’s 13. It’s that animated film Surfs Up.
I’ve also been seeing commercials for A Mighty Heart on television now.
Just think, Matt will have to do this in a few weeks again for his third Bourne film and Angelina in a couple of weeks for A Mighty Heart. These are busy, busy in demand people. Like the tv anchors said the Ocean’s 13 cast were Hollywood royalty
I think that brad wears the glasses for the sensitivity he has to light. You could tell it really bothers him by his squinting. they mentioned that on TV.

As for babies. I’m sure they are being planned. can’t wait to find out if the next one will be a sibling from africa or a bun in the oven.

Also it was not nightime when the premiere started in Vegas. The sun was just starting to set. Andy Garcia has on sunglasses as well.
In summer, the sun sets as late as 8:30 pm

It’s quite nice to see these “old” bunch. They show that age is really just a state of mind. They may be “old,” but they don’t seem to let their age hold them back. They’re still having fun.
Besides, they’ve paid their dues in the business, and they deserve to be in the limelight for as long as they can and want. Also, I prefer seeing them on the red carpet than Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton. (I’m sorry if I offend any Lohan and/or Hilton fans.)
Actually, if Gregory Peck or any of the greats from the 1930’s, 40’s, or 50’s were still alive, I would still want to see them on the red carpet. They paved the way for these guys, and now, these guys–Brad, Clooney, and Barkin–are paving the way for the younger ones.
I have a feeling AMH will be a much more quieter affair. It’s not exactly a type of film to have massive premiere like this. It is such a sad story. I think it will be like The Good Shepherd premiere and Marianne Pearl will attend. Isn’t the premiere supposed to be a funraiser for the Daniel Pearl Foundation?

Brad was probably staying for the premiere then heading back to LA. No overnight trip for him. He probably arrived midmorning and left already. It’s a short commuter flight to LA from Las Vegas.
