OlderJessica Simpson: Single and Smiling
A newly single Jessica Simpson still manages a smile while dining out at Swing Grill restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday. She even hit up West Hollywood haunt Celadon on Tuesday, where she partied all night in the VIP room with her gal pals.
Simpson and John Mayer reportedly split for good with a source close to Mayer telling People, “It has been rocky and it had been rocky, and it reached the end of the road. It is definitely over – the relationship has ended. They tried to make it work (when they met in New York and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico). Every relationship has its differences, but with Jessica and John those differences were starting to become more and more apparent.”
A source close to Simpson added, “They broke up Sunday night, but who knows what the future will hold. This is the twelfth time they’ve broken up. Their relationship is volatile. Last week they felt better than ever. This week, things are rocky. Who knows what the future will bring. She loves [John] but she has to be true to herself.”
