Paris Hilton is a Free Woman
Paris Hilton was released from prison early Thursday morning, just 3 days of her original 45-day sentence.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department held a press conference outside the Century Regional Detention Facility, where they announced that Paris was released because of “medical reasons” and reassigned to the home confinement (she will be put under house arrest and has to wear an ankle bracelet).
And of course those “medical reasons” are confidential.

I am truly disgusted with the US legal system. What a bunch of bull. Seriously, this is depressing, because we all know that somebody not in her position would be serving their time with no ifs, ands or buts.
You’re an idiot, Laureen.
If you start releasing prisoners because they ‘cant sleep or eat and there cells to cold and bright’ you would have to release Everyone!
@ least she didn’t get beat-up and raped like most inmates. Fcuking bullsh*t, now she gets to throw house party’s every night for 40 days.
She’ll probably even get a custom made Prada ankle-monitor. Now I really HATE her.
Beyotch has a scorching case of herpes. BWAAAAHAHAHA!
Poor baby.
ok who did she pay or sleep with to get out that fast…i still go back to this was just one huge publicity stunt…also this will once again make America a laughing stock in the eyes of the rest of the world.
Nando, I agree. Hopefully she isn’t a breeder.
yep they are above the law the law is a big joke. I hate her and that whole family more than every.
Some people they are so lucky in this world! They have Paris, Nicole, Britney and top of it Mrs Beckham. It’s so much to handle :)
Isn’t there a law for the rich?
It goes to show that if you opt to be a chronic fcuk up, do it in California.
It makes me respect Martha Stewart and Lil’ Kim all the more; they did their time and got on with it. Paris did little time and is about to get it on with any and all takers.
 Rash…I betcha if Lil’ Kim came with a rash, they’d tell her to put some Vaseline on that $hit and get the h*ll on!
Oh My God!!!! That is so rediculous!!
She should not have be in prision for more than two days. It was wrong in first place. Hopw she is fine.
what the f*ckin hell is that!!!
she’s rich so tath’s ok she doesn’t have to do her total sentence! it’s a shame!
medical problems!!! what a bull sh*t!!

Well, according to the California law as, I heard on the news according, to the court system. Doing what Paris did, Failure to appear at court. A normal person. Non Celebrity would be charged 2 days maximum in prison. Paris actually, did more then that. She spent 5 days in prison. The judge wanted to be an ass and throw the book at her by, giving her 45 days. Then, we know what happened from there.
The judge is an *******. Any non celeb would never get that harsh of a sentice. Believe it or not. People think that Paris got off easy are of course, jelious. She is proof you can be too rich and too thin. She’s after all Paris darling!

NO dear, Paris only spent 2 days in jail. They gave her credit for 5 days BUT she only spent 2 days.
These are Paris’ charges.
1. Two DWI’s
2. Driving with a suspended license, after two DWI’s.
3. Showing up 18 minutes late for court.
Laureen–
She got jail for violating probation, not once, but three times. That is far more serious than a failure to appear at court one time. I believe she was caught on camera onece and then she was pulled over while on probation and told by a police officer that she couldn’t drive. She was caught again driving by the police. She is either rock stupid or thought she was above the law.
She now has to stay home for 40 days and can’t leave unless it is to go to doctor’s appointments or some type of serious work. Not parties.
The arrogance of her, Lindsay, Britney and Nicole is unbelievable. They have all been caught on camera taking drugs or drinking and then driving. Most of us would be rotting in jail if we had furnished such proof of idiocy. But they all have felt they were above the law. It is about time that the LA police got tough with these folks. They are, unfortunately, role models for young kids. They expect the world to fall at their feet because they are photographed and appear in gossip columns and magazines constantly. Whatever happened to working and having talent?

YOU ARE WRONG:: These are Paris’ charges, with these charges, she should have served her entire sentence like anybody else.
1. Two DWI’s
2. Driving with a suspended license, after two DWI’s.
3. Showing up 18 minutes late for court.
its all a bunch of bullshit.Paris needs to get back behind those bars! all of it, a bunch of lies. I love paris but kmon god she should still be punushed like the rest of us.
1st- To Laureen: I don’t know CA law b/c I live in FL and work for a criminal attorney, but I can tell you that here, a double VOP will give you at least a minimum of 5 years in prison…I’ve never heard of VOP sentencings to be light…especially if you double VOP…
How this entire case was handled is an outrage…it’s a disgrace for the legal system…people with money and power have proven that they can buy their way out of a true prison sentence or use their name to get lenience…
Do you think any judge would take pity on you or me for a VOP charge? We would get a harsh sentence and sit in an actual prison cell…
The law is not equal when judging people of rank and power…and the poor people like me or anyone else who lives on minimum wage are made to obey the laws at a stricter and harsher level…none of this was handled with class or fairness…
I say shame on our legal system for showing prejudice and discrimination in judging crimes commited by the normal person to the celebrity…
so corrupt…but i have to say the best thing that came out of the whole “paris going to jail” thing was the cheers that erupted at the MTV awards when it was brought up, and the camera panning to her whenever someone cracked a joke about her…but im so sick of these tabloid queens overshadowing real news!
That really sucks! Its just because she is a rich, famous person. What’s wrong with the US legal system? So ridiculous….!!! Nothing more to say. Shame on you, Mrs Hilton.
But is is us, the public which makes her thrive and flourish. Press and tabs make her famous because us the public wants to read about her frivolous life. In order to truly hurt this woman, we must stop reading about her, and take interest in her, as there is absolutely NOTHING substaintial or interesting about this human garbage.
Hey Laureen, before you try and run your smart mouth, please learn how to spell the words your trying to throw around.
Confirmed: The Rich/Wealthy IS and FOREMOST above the law. Our forefathers are rolling in their grave. United States of America is corrupt no different than other 3rd world countries. Sad!
SHAME!!!!! The bithc must stay in jail!!! She has recieved special treatment…. Money can buy freedom! Boooooooo!
It was probably noted that there was an issue with mental instability and cachexia.
Now Paris’s personal psychiatrist can closely monitor her homecare, thus relieving the county of possible liability in the event that “passive suicidal tendencies” were carried out. These practitioners are quick at labeling you as “mentally unstable” and whipping out a script for antipsychotics.
It does not take rocket science to dig and find those legal and medical loopholes!
