Brad Pitt’s Motorcycle Madness
Brad Pitt slips out from a restaurant in Beverly Hills and hops onto his bad boy motorcycle on Thursday afternoon. He then headed to his Plan B productions office also located in Beverly Hills.

The list of Hollywood’s top dads appears in the mag’s current issue.
The partner of actress Angelina Jolie, and dad of the couple’s four kids has been dubbed as a super dad, for taking care of the kids while Jolie was away shooting for ‘Wanted’ in Prague, Czech Republic, and recording TV interviews to promote their new film, ‘A Mighty Heart’.
The star had recently revealed that he loved being a dad, and that fatherhood is the ‘best thing’ that has ever happened to him.
“I love being a dad. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” National Ledger quoted him, as saying.
The Academy-award nominee was followed by ‘Spiderman’ star Tobey Maguire at the second spot and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean star’ Johnny Depp, who was ranked third.

The new organization Not On Our Watch, founded by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and Jerry Weintraub, announced a donation today of $2.75 million to the International Rescue Committee to support the group’s humanitarian aid programs in the Darfur region.
“The International Rescue Committee is at the forefront of providing lifesaving humanitarian assistance in Darfur,” says Clooney, who visited IRC programs in Sudan and Chad last year.
Clooney was speaking in Chicago today, where Not On Our Watch announced the gift ahead of a benefit premiere of Ocean’s Thirteen. The fundraiser caps a series of benefits, hosted by Warner Brothers Studios, Vanity Fair and CineVegas, aimed at raising funds for Darfur relief efforts.
“The Darfur crisis is not going away and hundreds of thousands of people continue to rely on our aid programs for survival,” says George Rupp, president of the IRC. “These funds will help the IRC to treat the sick, provide clean water, prevent outbreaks of disease, deliver emergency shelter supplies, expand healing and learning programs for children and increase protection for the most vulnerable.”
Not On Our Watch was launched last month and aims to use the influence and reach of prominent artists to spotlight underreported violent conflicts and atrocities around the world and raise funding for needed humanitarian assistance.
“Celebrities such as these have a unique ability to turn the world’s attention to forsaken emergencies, access those who can effect change and generate significant resources to address critical humanitarian needs,” says Rupp. “We are grateful for their dedication and goodwill and are committed to using the funding to aid some of the world’s most desperate people.”

I have been reading on the fly for the last few days since Spring Cleaning is in full swing at my house right now, but the majority of all this rockin’ J-P news of late hasn’t gotten past me! The articles, interviews and video clips have me in overload…so thankful we aren’t surviving on snippets and old news anymore. Thank Goddess the “year of silence” is soooo OVAH, baby! haha!!
So many reasons to be happy for them I can’t begin to name them all except to say BO-YAH! and WOOT! haha!!
Remember a few months back when we were calling them The Alpha Couple? That’s all I keep thinking of when watching the coverage of the LA O13 Red Carpet. Brad and Angie owned it. Angie’s dress and bod were smokin’ and Brad had that “Yeah, she’s all mine” swagger about him, love it!
I read they didn’t stay for the movie screening that night…that they LEFT right after going in the theatre and we no-shows for the after-party, too. Hmmmmm, I bet they spent a nice evening tucked away in a hotel getting some of that craved-for alone time! Yeah, baby (or should I say honey?)! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, haters!
I love to see and hear of good things happening to good people.
Angie’s appointment to CFR is so exciting and a prime example of that very thing.
The tab/rag press is wailing in agony and will soon be right back to their snot-tacular ways, but I really could not give a big ol’ damn.
Oh, I just want to say that I watching one of the O13 Cannes interviews with Brad and Don Cheadle, and one thing stuck out to me. It’s the one where Don says he is married and points to Brad and says “He’s married” and there’s something said about getting rooms and partying with girls and how they don’t do that anymore. Brad does this throat slashing movement with his hand and says, “Done” while shaking his head “No”, and it was so endearing the way he seemed to be saying he was “done” with any other woman than the one he is with right now. I loved that! It’s obvious that he could never be satisfied with anybody else but Angie (certainly not some self-absorbed wanna-be twit or a younger starlet pop tart), and futhermore he isn’t looking or planning to be with anyone else but Angie FOREVER. Schweet! No more “experimental mergers” or “we’re going to see where this thing takes us” kinds of quotes for Brad anymore. Methinks he now believes in the forever kind of love he thought didn’t exist before he loved a real woman like his Angie. Gawd, ya’ll, that kinda stuff makes me go all weepy…hee hee! Ain’t love grand? It was also tooooo funny how Don said “We’re married. We don’t even have peni$e$ anymore”, and Brad got this look on his face that he tried to hide by rubbing his forehead and looking away, and said, “I don’t stand by that statment.” I laughed and thought, “Yeah, Brad because you make it verrrrry clear, that you have every intention of using yours as often as possible!” ;)!
Later, ya’ll. I have closets to clean out and floors to mop…lucky me. I’ll come back later this evening.

I thought maybe he read my little prediction that Angie was gonna eventually dump his primo butt, and he had gotten his feathered hairdo all ruffled, as a result.
However, it seems Brad didn’t just bitchily blackball the Awful Truth. “All weekly ‘tabloid’ magazines and gossip reporters were kept out,” dishes an in-the-know Biz type.
If everything is all rainbows and butterflies with Angie and the rest of the Jolie-Pitt bunch, as the beyond-gorgeous duo claims is the case, what’s B. so damn worried about? He should take a page out of Angie’s publicist-free book already and stop caring (and trying to control) what gets said. Won’t work, dude. Evah.

In the new edition of Parade Magazine, due out this weekend, Angelina Jolie talks about her life with Brad Pitt and their four children, Maddox, 6, Pax 3, Zahara 2, and Shiloh 1, as well as their future plans as a family, and her humanitarian efforts.
Angelina on being a working mom with four small children:
“Brad and I are very lucky that we’re in a situation where we can choose to take turns, and one of us can be home with the kids, and so we kind of have that plan of who is doing what. So I have been home, and now I am going to go to work for a little bit, then he is going to work, then I m going to work, then basically we’re going to try to take a year off and just be with the kids. So certainly, we’re trying to find a few projects that we love or that we think would be good to do for one reason or another. But mainly our focus is, ‘OK, let’s look at our schedule, and try to figure out when we’re going to have our family time.’”
She and Brad’s plans for their future, work and family:
“Brad and I have a lot of kids, and we want to have more kids. It’s fun, and we love it. But you can’t balance everything.I think both of us only plan to work for a few more years. We’ll try to stop sooner or later, so we can be home and travel, and just live.”
Are they abandoning the Hollywood lifestyle?
“Certainly we’re not running from all that. That’s not our motivation. We’re public people. We know that, and the world is what it is today, with press and media. But, yeah, I think it will be nice to, you know, just not be so – so out there.”
Angie’s mother died this past January after a long bout with ovarian cancer, she now opens up about how her mother influenced her own humanitarian efforts:
“I am my mother’s daughter. I mean, I hope but don’t think I’ll ever be as good as her.She was just such a pure, kind, unbelievably gracious mother. From a very young age, I saw my mother doing aid work. I saw how it made her life very happy and fulfilled. But really the biggest lesson she taught me was: It’s the little things. G-8 approves aid for Africa, warns Iran

HEILIGENDAMM, Germany - Leaders of the Group of Eight agreed Friday on a $60 billion package to fight AIDS, TB and malaria in Africa and warned Iran over its disputed nuclear program, on the final day of the summit of the world’s richer nations.
The G-8 pledged to “adopt further measures” if Iran refuses to halt its uranium enrichment program — a sign of support for U.N. Security Council moves to discuss a third set of sanctions. Uranium enrichment is a process that can produce fuel for civilian energy — or fissile material for a bomb.
Meanwhile, G-8 diplomats ran in to obstacles in discussions on the future of the Serbian province of Kosovo.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the meeting’s host, said there were still “different opinions” on a proposal to put off a U.N. Security Council vote on Kosovo’s independence for six months, and that diplomats would meet again next week.
Wary of delays, Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Ceku said from his provincial capital, “We cannot wait forever. Give us clarity, give us freedom and let us go.”
The United States and the European Union back a U.N. resolution to give the predominantly ethnic Albanian province supervised independence. But Russia is backing ally Serbia in its resistance to ceding the province seen as its historic heartland.
G-8 leaders held their final sessions at the Baltic Sea resort of Heiligendamm without an ailing President Bush, who stayed in his room to recuperate after meeting privately with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Bush soon was feeling better and rejoined the summit after missing a session with African leaders and another with heads of state from developing nations China, India, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.
In his absence, the other seven leaders met with the presidents of Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Ghana, and Nigeria to back the aid plan for Africa. About half of the $60 billion was pledged earlier by the U.S., and other nations will contribute the rest, Germany’s development minister said.
“It was a very candid and open discussion,” Merkel said. “We said that on behalf of the countries of the G-8, that we are aware of our obligations and we would like to fulfill the promises that we entered into and we are going to do that.”
But the anti-poverty group Oxfam noted that only a fraction of the promised US$60 billion represented new aid since the figure was spread over an unspecified number of years and includes money already pledged.
The new money is important, the group said in a statement, but “should be seen for what it is: a small step when we need giant leaps.”
The leaders also discussed a proposal, put forth by Sarkozy, on the independence-seeking Serbian province of Kosovo that would provide six-months for further talks between Belgrade and the Kosovo Albanians.
If they reach no agreement, the U.N. plan would then take effect, giving the predominantly ethnic Albanian province supervised independence.
Kosovo has been under U.N. supervision since a NATO-led air war in 1999 to halt a Serbian crackdown on ethnic Albanian separatists.
“At the moment, we have not achieved the necessary progress,” Sarkozy said Friday. “The key question that I posed was recognizing the need for Kosovo to achieve independence within a certain timeframe.”
In Pristina, Kosovo’s prime minister urged the West not to betray Kosovo.
“We have committed to the U.N. path and we have been very patient,” Agim Ceku told The Associated Press on Friday. “I urge you; do not betray this trust.”
On Thursday, G-8 leaders reached an agreement on climate change, adopting a statement that says they should “seriously consider” proposals to cut the emissions of greenhouse gases by 50 percent by 2050. The nonbinding language is a compromise between the European Union, which wants mandatory cuts, and the United States, which opposes them.
The G-8 is Germany, the United States, Russia, Britain, Italy, France, Canada and Japan.

I don’t know if you saw my previous post but it had nothing to do with B/A. I talked about DiPandi’s interviewing skills with Bernie Mac. How she didn’t ask him one question but he basically carried the interview. I also disussed in detail her technique with Don and Matt.
I actually agree that Brad was pleasant enough to her but Angie didn’t reveal anything she didn’t even stop for an interview. DiPandi yelled to her about her birthday she said it was lovely. DiPandi asked how she spent her birthday she didn’t reply and then DiPandi asked if it was with the kids and she said yes it was with the kids. All of this as she kept walking, Angie never stopped.
As far as grammer goes, typing fast things happen. I have never been rude to you once, you know absolutely nothing about me that fact that you feel the need to try an insult me says more about you than me.

Ted C. was talking about how he, personally, was ’snubbed’ by Brad Pitt, well, Brad’s people. But seriously, whose fault is it, really? I mean, innuendo and inferences are Ted’s bread and butter and he spent the better part of two years playing both ends against the middle and IMO, he would’ve continued if Cannes didn’t happen. Brad and Angelina brought star power to the AMH press conference premiere and they ratcheted it up for O13.
For some reason, Ted didn’t expect his little inference about Clooney to come into play, but WTF, man… these two guys are promoting a movie. Creating dissention among an A-List emsemble cast is beyond stupid. And just look back at that Oprah special, with George and Julia. And the back and forth after George became People’s 2nd two-timer. These two tag on each other all of the time. Manufacturing drama is one thing; but trying to legitimize your fiction by using a friend, specifically, a high-profile one, was very wrong.
And ya know… these two crazy kids have kids. Kids worry. Kids take things literally. Responsible adults clarify confusing concepts to children. Assuming that George is a presence in the J-Ps children’s lives, he probably has to explain his ‘jabs’ against their parents to them, if confusion arises. If Maddox or Zahara asked Ted for clarification, would they get it? How about Janice Min? The minions at In Touch, Enquirer, L & S, OK!, the E Network? The answer would be a ‘no’ because these children whom Brad and Angelina are parenting are a foreign concept to them. A face-to-face with the kids would be a novelty, not a reality. And the very fact that these people who are making money off of potentially disturbing the peace of mind of these little children is motivation enough to keep these people, at least, at arm’s length.
Instead of O13 being a sort of a swan song, it turned into a hot ticket. Ted has been in the business long enough to know how to conduct himself. People like Perez and Trent have $h#t chance to get into an A-List event like that, much less, a one-on-one interview with these people, so yeah, they pop off at the mouth when it suits them. Ted works for E; he had an in, despite the lackluster talent it boasts. He could’ve been the elder statesman, the old grey dog, that commanded respect despite the changing times and shifts in journalistic trends. But no, he decided to do a Perez, and while, somehow, Perez got a guest gig on his main target’s best friend’s show, that may not happen for him. At least, I hope he doesn’t profit from anyone within or on the periphery of Brad’s circle.

Thank you for that post. I too work with the disabled, though in High School. I’m a VERY liberal woman, but all the “normal” kids I come into contact with know that to use “******” (in any of its forms) is one swear word I will NOT put up with. LOL They know this because of the lecture they got after they said it as an insult. My favorite student ever had Down Syndrome and the mentality of about 4 years old. Pure unadulterated love.
I just read the Esquire interview and WOW!! She is so captivating!! She is really a remarkable and beautiful woman and i can see why Brad loves her!! I’m back from O13…and all I can say is WOW. Brad has never looked more like a MAN, in his LIFE! He was like f*cking REDFORD - and Clooney was DIVINE too!! Damon, Affleck and Cahn were hilarious as usual - and Don Cheadle has this one scene that had me on the FLOOR! I have to admit the first time you see this, just enjoy it as eye candy, the second time you can focus on plot. For some reason I kept focusing on that man’s package, I don’t know if it was the pants he was wearing or if all that Angelina-ing he’s doing has GROWN him. ROFLMAO. He was just virility personified. Cool, cool, Rusty Ryan. You’ve all heard of the end line Rusty to Danny, and Danny to Rusty - that was cute, but what was hilarious is the Oprah segment - I would love to talk about that with you guys but I don’t want to spoil it, needless to say, I think they were making an EXCELLENT point about Oprah and a certain person (very indirect and not pointed - you have to be very clued in to know what I speak of), and she fell right into their fooking TRAP. Ahahahahaha!!
The film opens with Brad, and let me just say, it is quite the iconic opening and I had to laugh at the similarities betwen art and life as it pertains to this foine aSS man…just a beautiful shot….you’ll see…..

I normally ignore postings that are biased against Angelina. But, I can’t help myself answering to this idiotic opinion of someone, who perhaps, more flawed than all of us.
This article is nothing but pure malicious opinion without any basis of objectivity. It’s full of judgmental characterization based on mere speculation as to who is Angelina and her motivations in life.
First off – when it comes to materialism – most jewelry, dresses, and accessories of stars walking in red carpets are loans from the designer themselves as part of promotion. Angelina has been wearing the same shoes in most of her promotions and other events that she attends. Except the red carpet event, she hardly has any accessories other than simple stud earrings, a watch and a gold ring –sometimes a gold chain with little pendants – nothing ostentatious.
The French quarter house – obviously, the person making assumptions about the family’s intention living in the French quarter have limited knowledge about the projects that the Jolie-Pitts are doing for the city of New Orleans. Not to mention, that there are actually documented reports from the Jolie-Pitt neighbors and local residents, appreciating the family as very humble, and just living a life among the locals.
Thirdly – as for not adopting here in the US as opposed to overseas – I have said this before, anyone who thinks that somehow the children in America has more rights and is deserving to be adopted than the children in Africa, Asia or other parts of the world, is simply a bigot. To imply that somehow any children outside America are second class or less human, are just beyond ignorance.
As for marriage – Since when is this person becomes the moral authority on marriage? In my book, anyone who thinks that they are better than the rest of the world because of their moral position – is nothing but a low-life idiot full of hypocrisy.

went to O13 this afternoon. Mostly older folks, as school was not out.
It was fun. I like O11 the best, but I enjoyed this in part because of the little layered jokes between the OGs.
Brad looked HAWT and relaxed, like the Rolling Stone review says, He’s come into his ‘cool’. He and George and Matt have something special. I enjoyed in particular Elliot Gould. He reminded me that he was in MASH and had another career (other than his stint as Mr. Streisand).
The only part I didn’t enjoy was the endgame with Ellen Barkin. I will say no more on that.
Soderbergh brought back the popping cinematography of O11, and DaddyBraddy brought his very cute tush — Man, can that man WALK!
I might go again with my friend. Definitely wouldn’t mind.

Thanks for posting this - I don’t think it’s OT IMO at all! I’ve been supporting the One Campaign and participating in the Make Poverty History e-mail campaign to the Prime Minister and local elected officials for some time now and it is encouraging that Africa is even on the agenda - that’s half the battle. However it’s easy for our leaders to make empty promises, so it is up to us to HOLD OUR LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE to their pledges. Campaigns such as One and MPH monitor this and let their members know how they are doing.
Daily 10’s #1 today is “The Fame Game” and features quotes from Brad about how he (and Angie)can’t get out of the spotlight and the impoverished can’t get into it, so they decided to just go where the spotlight needed to be and hope it would follow and have some effect - equal things out. All I can say is BRAVO to artists like Bob Geldof, Bono, Brad and Angie, etc. for making Africa an issue that is now discussed every year at the G8 Summit!!!!

I really love the MC interview. Very soulful and raw.But you can still feel some hesitations when it comes to Brad being discussed. I sort of feel that she is a little “embarassed” for Brad to know how she really feels. You can absolutely feel it that she really loves him and that it surprises her at the same time. i guess the fact that Brad was revealed to her slowly in every difficult circumstance that they are in and handled them, in her own word, seamlessly.

Oh my freaking goodness, what is going on there? Why oh why are the feeding this monster (Not Paris Hilton but the publicity monster) I mean seriously, what is the big deal? This is what AJ meant on Dateline when she said the press focus on things that are so trivial. CNN, MSNBC, Fox….all dedicated hours on this….this being a spoilt heiress going to jail for 23 days? I’m worried about the state of affairs in American Journalism. So far, Fox has made the most and I mean MOST ridiculous statement yet on this issue. One of the news anchors (couldn’t be bothered to know his names) says something like….
“And if you look at the bottom of your screen, there’s the numbers for today’s stocks and it’s interesting to note that yesterday, when Paris Hilton was released….the numbers were down and now she’s being sent back to jail, the numbers are slowly climbing back up”
I swear, you could have knocked me down with a feather….that’s how shocked and speechless I was. I’m standing there with my mouth wide open, hoping I’d misheard when suddenly, I hear cursing in a foreign language….it’s my Uncle and he’s spitting mad, saying if the stocks rise and fall because of someone like Paris Hilton, maybe it’s time to get his money out and bury it in the backyard like they did in the old days. I read Esquire and it was wonderful and very deep, the author/interviewer is an excellent writer, however there was one paragraph I had a prob with, and I’m sure you probably know what that is. Will discuss later on a private message board maybe.

Most of the time when they arrive somewhere and are on the red carpet the next day I expect that they will look a bit tired from jet lag. Nevertheless, I wish I looked that good when I am jet-lagged! They always look amazing, on the red carpet or off - I don’t know how they do it. Okay, well actually I do - when you are in love and getting some good nookie and cuddling your skin, eyes, and even your hair is shinier (notice how long and beautiful her hair is now? ;-)) Love is the best fountain of youth out there!

Marie Claire and Esquire interviews cater to their specific audiences, that is to mostly women and mostly men respectively. Generally, I suppose, the readers of Esquire will be more interested in world affairs and less on personal details.
Brad should make a new movie. He could titled it “A Mighty HOT”. Love you Brad. I am gushing here. (sigh)

Ciao to everyone..always lurking but I wanted to say Congrats to Angelina its well bestowed, with all she does as a humanitarian.I saw O13 today and it was Fabulous!It had it all.I went with a couple of friends and it was packed at the theater.I know it will have a great weekend from my end.I also got my cover of Esquire,MC,EW&I wanted the glossy pictures in the Hello magazine so I cough up the $6.95.Thankyou all for the info you share.

It wasn’t a negative comment. It was an observation. And you are correct about jet lag. But whatever the reason I am happy to see her so vibrant,smiling, laughing, enjoying herself and her man.
The interview in MC is so tender, and unintrusive. I liked the interviewer alot. I can’t imagine how anyone could find fault with this woman in any capacity. When they talk about her earlier years she was never like Paris, Lindsey, or Britanny. She was protesting even in grade school. She is a special person.

She developed the Maddox Jolie-Pitt project, built a school, built roads leading to the school, she built a soy-milk factory and feeds the kids in the school. The number of students in the school grew from 699-810…
I agree that the reporter got one thing very, very wrong, otherwise a nice read.

That is an amazing interview. I feel soo sad for her, having lost her mum at a young age. But am also very happy that she has Brad to hold her ,,,, how sweet.
Angie is just an awesome woman. As I was reading I was wondering how news channels overlooked all the good and important things she said and just started focusing on the “getting naked”

CANNES — Oscar-winning producer Graham King has launched GK Films, securing a three-year, first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures for the startup production banner. He also has reupped his production pact with Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil, King said
Three titles will mark the birth of GK Films.
“Shantaram” will be produced for Warner Bros. in conjunction with Infinitum and Brad Pitt’s Paramount-based Plan B. A starring vehicle for Depp from a script by Eric Roth for director Mira Nair, “Shantaram” is based on the novel by Gregory David Roberts.

ITA. I did know Angie developed and worked on MJ project and it became MJP project. However, I did not know in detail what the project was about. It seems it is a huge project - actually bigger than OW’s Africa shcool project. I read that Brad/Angie are now considering Z project in Ethiopia for Girl’ shcool or something. You know Tabloids are really into silly things but Brad/Angie have so many important and meaningful things on their hands to work on and worried about.
Saw O13 today and thought that it was way better than the last.
From the opening scene you can see why Mr. Pitt is hot,hot,hot. So cool!
Was surfing the net the other day and came across two nude pictures of Brad! I lost my breathe! I usually do not like nude pictures but this man is so hot!!!!! I felt myself blushing! Angie is definitely lucky! Poor Jen! She really lost out! No one will take Brad’s place. She needs to stop looking for a new Brad and get on with her life. Angie and Brad belong together! They balance each other so well!

Wow that Esquire article was really in depth and very informative ’bout the projects. I wasnt about her building the roads,quantity of stdnts, elephants,e tc..what a great article. I so applaud her for all of her accomplishments/projects. I liked the fact that the reporter presented the silly unimportant thngs that these tabtrash are making ’bout her life & how narrow minded ppl buy into those notions. It’s so obvious taht she is more focus about significant things in life. Keep on living Angie and more power to you!
