Older‘Ocean’s 13′ Earns $13 Million
Ocean’s Thirteen rolled out an impressive $13.1 million, according to Friday estimates. The heist comedy should easily pick up the No. 1 slot this weekend.
In No. 2 was the Katherine Heigl-Seth Rogen comedy Knocked Up, which brought in $6.2 million during its second week in release.. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End sailed close behind with a cool $6 million.
The stars of Ocean’s Thirteen recently donated over $750,000 to poverty-fighting charity Oxfam. Co-stars Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon also donated to Clooney’s Not on Our Watch charity, which helps the inhabitants of Western Sudan.
Clooney has said, “The people of Darfur urgently need the help of organizations like Oxfam.”
UPDATE: Ocean’s 13 pulled in a healthy $37 million at the box offices this weekend. POTC3 sailed away with $21 million with Knocked Up not far behind with $20 million.

I’m angry, too. But the fact Plan B is single owned by Brad is not widely known to media. And to make it worse late 2005 x insisted in her interview she was still working with Plan B. That’s why media still believe she is connected to that company. Brad said Plan B was like the child went through bitter divorce or something.

We should be used to this sort of thing by now, but it still kills me that these entertainment outlets cobble a story from magazine articles and are allowed to slap their own values and conjecture onto it.
Showbiz Tonight suffers from the same disease as E; they expect Brad and Angelina to make their network and when they are disappointed, they go into attack mode. Rewind to the GGs; Brooke Anderson was covering a post GG party and she made such a big deal about Brad and Angelina leaving early. Next day, Sivila Vargas criticized Angelina’s choice in wearing gold jewelry with a dark gray dress.
I have to admit… I’ve been watching Showbiz Tonight a little too much lately, specifically on the weekends. They did a story about why some of HW A-List actresses couldn’t find/keep a man. Nevermind the fact that ___ was included in the A-List category, their conclusion was that ___ couldn’t handle her ‘bad boys’, starting with Brad Pitt. Excuse me… Brad is a bad boy?!! Oh, I bet he’s naughty on an ongoing basis now, but back then… not likely. Another example of their heaping their values onto a story; trying to create depth for a very shallow subject.
And BTW… does Star Mag just save their old stories as mail merges? Because someone mentioned earlier that a similar story was written about VV and his purported great qualities. Uh, sorry Star Mag, in between the ambidextrous @$$ gropings, celebrating Angelina’s birthday, taking care of their kids, promoting O13, and preparing for AMH’s premiere, Brad Pitt still had time to read PMBP’s dossier and dispatch an urgent warning to ___? Come on!

Piper, I know but AJ Hammer talking about an interview that was done months ago as if it was done yesterday just for Paris Hilton is just mindboggling. Angie talks about how going to those places affected HER, not anybody else and yet that’s not how they report it. If that doesn’t sream agenda, I don’t know what does.
I know, I laugh at these mags and haters who are now saying the same thing they used to say when VV started dating __. He was better and hotter than Brad, much better man in ALL areas than Brad of course, etc. I guess the cycle continues.

LOL! the X filed papers to adopt a child, I don’t believe that one bit, this was the same woman that was on Larry King when she was promoting Derailed and said that adoption wasn’t for her, now all of a certain, she wants to adopt, yeah right. Call me crazy but I don’t mind this cover. They need to have something for the ladies to drool over. MM is not my cup of tea, but he is to others. Also, there have been a flood of pictures and mag interviews for both Angie and Brad for the past two-three weeks that I don’t feel like they need to be on People. Maybe it’s just me. ((shrugs))

why would the Jolie-Pitts be on the cover? they have been on many other magazine covers. People magazine is an entertainment magazine not the JP magazine.

Jesse James started to develop at Plan B when they were still married. Some projects take several years before in productions.
I think The report says her new project was bought when they co-owned PlanB. She took several rights of films as a divorce settlement. This might be one of them.
