Wow 49! Not that it is old. She isn’t the surgery type so she looks good. I hope I look that good when I am 49, my husband would like me to I am sure, ha. Ellen is freakin funny. Love the show.

I love Ellen, too, La, but you’re wrong. She is the surgery type. She has already had some work done. For sure she has had a neck lift.
Her neck was already saggy and wrinkly ten or eleven years ago. It shows on some of the later “Ellen” programs. Between her chin and her neck there was a weblike formation. That’s all been tightened up, although the neck is starting to sag again. Unfortunately, plastic surgery doesn’t last forever. The funny thing is that Portia seems to have the same type of neck. It will be interesting to see if she ever gets her eyes done. She already has a lot of crow’s feet and stuff. I met her when she was forty. She has the most incredible eyes I’ve ever seen. You can’t really get the full effect in photos or on TV. They seem to show up best in her movies. At that time, she looked younger than she did on TV. Now…I don’t know. Unfortunately, she might be inheriting her mother’s tendency to wrinkle. I’ve also met Betty DeGeneres. This was also about ten years ago, and she was the wrinkliest person I’ve ever met…especially for her age at the time.
