OlderParis Hilton: “God Has Released Me”
Paris Hilton called Barbara Walters from jail yesterday afternoon (prisoners must call collect), making bold statements like “God has released me” and “I’m not that superficial girl.”
On how she’s doing: “I’m hanging in there. I feel as if I’m a different person. I’ve dropped my appeal. I don’t want to cause any more problems.”
On not wailing, sobbing or screaming as had been described: “But I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. I was not myself. It was a horrible experience.”
On how prison has changed her: “I’m not the same person I was. I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who looked up to me. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here. I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance.”
On her spiritual well-being: “My spirit or soul did not like the way I was being seen and that is why I was sent to jail. God has released me.”
On not being allowed makeup or lotion: “It doesn’t matter. I’m not that superficial girl. I haven’t looked in the mirror since I got here.”
On the possibility of being let out early: “I feel that the purpose of my life is to be where I am. However, usually with a situation like mine, the person serves 10 percent of their time. I have already served 30 percent of my time. I hope if there is overcrowding in the jail, I would be let out before someone with a much more serious crime.”
On learning her lesson: “I will never again have a drink and drive.”

Iam Angelina Jolie’s fan, she was a wreck before (no offense). But she turned her life around, she became a better person,even became a role model for others. It’s because we gave her a chance and she proove us that she is way better person that we could have imagine.

The media coverage is the main problem. Prison Paris watch is wholly unnecessary and I am convinced that this overexposure will spring her from jail early.

She is not really in jail, just some medical facility where she has the whole hospital room to herself (with windows and no bars). She sounds fine, acts fine, so she should be sent back to the real jail, not at the hospital. If she really wants to “atone” she really needs to go back to the same jail where everyone normally serves. No one can truly changes in a week …

Wow! Another pack of lies. This new tactic proves she will do ANYTHING to remain in the public eye - even sell herself to the devil. (I did not mention sell her soul because it is apparent that she does not have a soul). Paris sees that everyone hates her guts and cannot understand how no one can love her as she loves herself. I cannot even pretend to believe she is sincere in her determination to change. How can a person make a life altering change in a week - even a Saint would find that difficult. Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights in the desert - fasting and being tempted by Satan, and she “ain’t Jesus”. Carrying a Bible is not the same as reading it and practicing what it preaches. It all boils down to one thing - she wants the money to keep flowing in - that is her God - the almighty dollar. Rot in prison, Paris. You are getting a good enough deal staying in the prison hospital talking on your mobile phone to Barbwa.

Even if its true, she will never live down her bad girl image. It will take years of doing good and one slip up and its wasted. Its quite sad actually. People will give the good girl the benefit of doubt but the bad girl will never be given the benefit without going through the fire over and over again.

She complained of ill health because she refused to eat or drink anything while in her cell; her reason? Not that she wasn’t offered foie gras, champagne and caviar, hell no! The reason was the cell toilet faces the door, and she was terrified that a CO would take a picture of her having a dump, and that the guard would have it put on YouTube or something [maybe YouPoop, ha ha]. OMG, the woman has been in the most imfamous porn film in recent years, nothing left to the imagination, but she’s SCARED that someone will see a photo of her wiping her own a$$! The mind boggles…. please do not feel sorry for this woman - she broke the law, and she is being punished for it!
I am honestly not surprised that someone like Paris Hilton believes in a god. She fits the profile perfectly.
