Jill, I agree with your post.

I’ve actually been bemused by the latest from Jen’s camp because it is so blatantly a manipulation of the media (and her fans).

However there is something about this whole Aniston publicity blitzkrieg that I find really chilling and very disturbing.

Its my opinion that this woman is ultimately a good person—I mean that— but when it comes to her career, she is hell-bent to succeed. I think it crosses over into the negative what she will do to keep herself on the publicity A-list.

Not for the greater good but for her own self-interest. In that, she is so transparent its a wonder her fans don’t feel unnerved by it.

I also think that tho she most suredly loved Brad Pitt, the fact that he has moved on in such a BIG way—- leaving her in his dust—-just fuels her determination to stay current and relevant.

Those of us who are not fans of hers (me) do not respect her, do not find her ‘classy’ because we perceive her words and actions since the separation/divorce to be passive-agressive. There is an anger, a hostility towards Brad that comes thru.

Just the way she has never addressed the backlash towards Brad because of the breakup,
(as if she doesn’t know full well that many people believe Brad had sex with Angie before the separation. She could stop this negativity towards this man with one sincere statement. What we get instead is silence and the never ending strong Jen soldiering on……)

And so Brad takes the fall for the ultimate failure of their relationship. And good man that he is, deeply happy with his choices that he is, he accepts it. Small price to pay, I guess, to have gotten out cleanly (with Plan B to boot!)

But it doesn’t seem to be enough for Jen.
She seems determined to sabotage Brad at every turn. The timing of this latest media grab of hers just seems downright malicious.

There is room for both of their projects—why the need to compete for publicity at the same time?

i do believe this is going out of portion. jens people did say that their is nothing going on and i do believe that. she only dated this guy a few times.
i think jen is waiting for brad to go back to her , probably hoping that brad and angie
have one of those dramatical split that the tabloid are hoping and fabricating on, the only wish i have is that brad and angie marry so that jen can finally be convinced and then go on with her life

I don’t know if this has been said already, but what a vain dork she is! Of all the ideas and fun she could have utilized with the ad, her solution is to undress. BIG effin’ yawn.

Of all the ways to sell water (and SELL OUT), she decides to go this way - taking her clothes off. It seems to be the ONLY way she knows how to get and keep public attention. What a tool! So vain and so insecure at the same time - no wonder she’s so disliked. What intelligent person can’t see through her act?

I was just beginning to look at her a new way and give her a break when she pulls out the same old crap. Forget it - she doesn’t want respect; she wants lust and vanity. I can’t wait until she’s in her 50’s and can’t rely on showing her tired a** to the masses any longer.

Angie mentioned Chin ONCE in her Vogue interview. She was EXTREMELY nice to that trainwreck. I don’t know, maybe she and Brad wanted to send some kind of a message - that they thought enough was enough, perhaps. But that obviously didn’t work,b/c that would be the end of Maniston - she is nothing without milking her infamous “experimental merger”.

On the other hand, I am sure you remember, eg,
VF “article” in witch Maniston back-stabbed Brad AND Angie & their kids (w/o even knowing them!!) Many and many will NEVER forgive Chin that, even if she says the TRUTH about that ALREADY FAILED merger.
