Woody’s Family Settles in Spain
Woody Allen arrives in Barcelona, Spain on Monday, accompanied by wife Soon-Yi Previn and their daughters Bechet, 8, and Manzie, 7. (They carried and pulled their own luggage!)
Woody, 71, and Soon-Yi, 36, plans on staying in Spain for a few months to film his yet-to-be-titled summer film project starring Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem. The ‘Woody Allen Spanish Project’ is scheduled for a 2008 release.
Some background: Bechet was named after jazz clarinetist Sidney Bechet. Manzie was named after Manzie Johnson, a drummer with Bechet’s band.

BUT Woody married Soon Yi’s mother and he is the father of her brothers - what can possibly be acceptable about that????
Mia’s kids are her siblings. And now she is their step-mother???
Would you want that in YOUR family? Would you be ok with your ex husband marrying your adopted daughter???? (even if he was not her father?)
Give me a break. There are millions of people in the world. People who choose to fall in love in these situations - have issues. Period. And they need psych help pronto.

Mia Farrow
Starting around 1980, Allen began a 12-year relationship with actress Mia Farrow, who had leading roles in several of his movies from 1982 to 1992.
Farrow and Allen never married, but they adopted two children together: Dylan Farrow (who changed her name to Eliza and is now known as Malone) and Moses Farrow (now known as Misha); and had one biological child, Satchel Farrow (now known as Ronan Seamus Farrow). Allen did not adopt any of Farrow’s other biological and adopted children, including Soon-Yi Farrow Previn (now known as Soon-Yi Previn).
Allen and Farrow separated in 1992 after Farrow discovered nude photographs Allen had taken of Previn. In her autobiography, What Falls Away (New York: Doubleday, 1997), Farrow says Allen admitted to a relationship with Previn.
During a subsequent protracted legal battle, Farrow accused Allen of sexually abusing their adopted daughter Malone. The case never went to trial and Allen was never indicted.

Shortly after separating from Farrow in 1992, Allen openly continued his relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, Farrow’s adopted daughter. Even though Allen and Previn denied he was ever her stepfather, the relationship drew much public and media scrutiny. At the time, Allen was 57 and Previn was 22.
Allen and Previn married in 1997. The couple later adopted two daughters, naming them Bechet and Manzie after jazz musicians Sidney Bechet and Manzie Johnson.

You people are SO judgmental. He is a genius and one of the best film-makers in the world.
Someone said it here, he IS a legend.
What he did in his private life is weird - but you bashing people are just so ridicolous.
How does someone his age get to adopt kids? When the relationship started with Soon-Yi she was not 22 but when she was a teenager. Woody says it started when she was 17 and they started going to basketball games together. The nude pictures Mia found was taken when Soon-Yi was 12. Mia and Woody did adopt other children together as well as have a biological child. None of his children with Mia want anything to do with him. Moses said in court documents that he didn’t understand how his father thought it was okay to hook up with his sister and said he wanted nothing to do with him.
Both of his daughters with Soon-Yi are adopted so I don’t know how anyone can remember her being pregnant.
If you check out court records and other reputable sites not Wikipedia which is written by the public then you will be able to find out the correct information.
IMO Soon-Yi is ugly and has to hold on to her old man because everyone else has cut ties with her and he’s all she has.
I liked Woody’s earlier movies but his new stuff is crap. As for people still working with him, people in Hollywood will sell their souls to be successful. None of his movies open to big numbers the fact that he is still around is due to his earlier success and nostalgia.

It’s difficult this one. I was (am?) a Woody Allen fan - for Annie Hall & co - yet still I cannot get away from the fact that he slept with the daughter of his partner. Incidentally I don’t know where the adoption theory came about - Bechet is a dead ringer for the old man!
I’m very sure that pedo-nasty, gross bastered, will start ******** his two daughters when he has a chance, and the one that curls his toes best, will replace her mother, just as Soon-Yi did to her own step mother.
