Mariska’s Mommy-Baby Bonding

Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay and her 11-month-old son August catch a flight at LAX airport on Monday in Los Angeles. The pair just went to The Happiest Place on Earth the day before — Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

Baby August rode in a Maclaren Quest stroller in charcoal/flame ($225).

Little known fact: Mariska speaks five languages — French, English, Hungarian, Spanish and Italian.

well if i hear the word Hungary, i think about me and my homecountry, couse im hungarian
. Btw i dont think she could speak hungarian, she speak a few sentence. I also know a few sentece in italian, but that doesnt mean that i SPEAK italian(but it would be great:-d)

But Mariska is very nice, and lovely, not so rude like many other celebs. She smiles a lot, and it can be seen that she lives a normal life. And the baby is so cute

Thank Depeche anyway, but I’m Hungarian too, so I was just curious what other nations know about us, because I have no clue. And beacuse she has hungarian descents(actually it’s romanian, so thanks to the French it’s just the part of the old Hungary-Je parle francais aussi.-), and name and they mentioned the language, I thought it was kinda a right time. But thanks again, really. Other opinions?

I also wonder if she teaches her son any of these languages other than English.

heh, heh, her granny Jayne Mansfield would have been proud. I’m sure Mickey Hargitay was too. Mariska is a cool woman, good actress for her role on tv. Boy o boy has she made a rockin’ handsome baby. Remind me to watch for him in my rocking chair……

First her son is absolutely adorable.

Second Jayne Mansfield was Mariska’s mother. Her father is Mickey Hargitay and her parents wed in 1958. She was born in 1964 and her mother died in 1967.

Finally I am quite sure that she speaks Hungarian quite fluently as her father Mickey was born and raised in Hungary. If anyone checks he was born in Budapest in 1926. He didn’t leave the country til 1947.

Mariska is such an amazing woman and I thank her for all the good she has done with her charity The Joyful Heart Foundation. It’s so sweet that she got her son August a UCLA shirt; the college she AND her mother attended.
