Jennifer Aniston: Adoption Papers Filed!
Inspired by her friend Sheryl Crow & the suppot of her new man (British model Paul Sculfor), Jen’s filed the papers to adopt her own baby son
Jennifer Aniston is adopting, an adoption agency source tells OK! magazine.
Aniston is apparently working with the same agency Sheryl Crow used to adopt and would “love a boy.”
A friend of Aniston’s tells the magazine that she’s been thinking about adoption for a while and got the process going after seeing Crow with newly adopted son Wyatt.
“The process has 100% started,” a source says.
UPDATE: Jen’s publicist Stephen Huvane tells US Weekly, “It is completely false. Jennifer has not met with any adoption agencies.”

Maybe she really wasn’t really in love with Brad. All involved are better off with what they have now. I think it was just wrong how it came about but I think that is why Jen is okay because even though the divorce came about how it did it still must have been painful. for her or for anyone for that matter.
She’s talked about wanting to adopt a few times in interviews over the past few years. But I’m sure the Brad and Angie fans will find a way to make this revolve around BAMPZS regardless.

i hear u, i just don’t understand why people only give her the benefit of a doubt and not Angie, when she does something, people bring up her past and says she still the same when clearly she has evolved as well. I think anyone with a heart who goes to these places where people are suffering their whole lives would be changed forever, not just angie, but jen and anyone else.

Bottomline, whether she wants kids or not isn’t really the point. She didn’t want them with Brad otherwise she would’ve have had them. Brad is better off in his situation and it’s fate he has children with who he has them with. JA’s fate is her own and that’s cool too.

These stars are actually adopting their own biological children; they hire a surrogate to carry their sperminated eggs. (It keeps them from having to gain weight and/or explain.)
The surrogate plan was active years ago but the mothers received so much criticism. (Think DIedre Hall.)

And I’m sorry, but once you hit a certain age, many of us DO become inspired by our friends who are starting families, however they are starting them. It doesn’t necessarily make you a copy cat, but it may make you realize what you truly want. If she were copying Brad and Angelina, she’d have adopted 6 by now and be dragging them all over the world.
One more abandoned child will have a great life! This is something to celebrate, not criticize.
Don’t knock Jen’s instincts. Jen’s child will be the true love of her life. She has such wide social circle. She’s more grounded, stable in one place. Brad and Jolie have a good life too, but I think they move around too much for strong, stable relationships with others. Jolie reminds me of a bird in flight. She seems to have just a few close people and many “acquaintances,” but everybody wants to be down with her and pretend they know her well. Brad is down with “the boys” and his family.
Jen might also become much closer to her own mom. A baby could bring healing to her family.
I hope she does. It is a great experience and something to direct her attention to and away from Brad. They are divorced!

“Goree Girls” revolves around eight women at Texas’ Goree Prison during the 1940s who formed one of the first all-female country and western acts in the country and captured the hearts of millions of fans in the process. The project is set up at DreamWorks, which is looking for a director.
Aniston and her producing partner Kristin Hahn optioned Skip Hollandsworth’s May 2003 article in Texas Monthly titled “O Sister Where Art Thou,” which recounted the story of the women, who eventually were pardoned.
Aniston, a former partner in ex-husband Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company, has several projects in development via that relationship, including the upcoming Pitt vehicle “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.”

Winterbottom recognizes the actress’s iconicity as a force that must be reckoned with—which is to say, disguised. Except the tricks he employs to help the actress disappear into the film’s tapestry of uncertainty aren’t exactly new and reek of evasiveness. You could say they’re as transparent as this painstaking chronicle of a police investigation is gutless.
Asking no questions, giving no insights, and demanding nothing of his audience, Winterbottom dramatizes the last days in the life of Daniel Pearl in his typically cold, hyperventilating fashion: cinematography that looks like the walls of the Lincoln Tunnel, shots that don’t last more than five seconds, and lazy cultural specificity. His faux sense of urgency attempts to keep the blood pumping, except all it does is camouflage this historical recreation’s almost disturbing lack of resonance. Madgie, The United States banned all adoption from Cambodia in December 2001. Adoption applications that were submitted before December were processed (on a case by case basis apparantly) to make sure the children there realy were orphans. Angelina had already filed papers to adopt her son before the ban.
When I started seriously considering adoption, a Cambodian baby girl was what I had had my heart set on, but after researching the Country we found that U.S had put a ban up due to illegal trafficking. Apparantly some orphanges over there are not very trustworthy, as two infants were snatched from their birth mother and one of them was in the process of being adopted by a U.S couple.
It realy sucks because there are so many over there that need a home, and many people over here are willing to give them one.

It’a all about perception, not reality. It’s the PR team’s job to make you see things the way they want you to. These people, Jen, Brad, Angie, all of them, are products and they get marketed just like any other product, be it cereal or iPods.

Angelina has been call every name but a child of God and so have JA. They all get it from both sides. Yes, I do admit that BP does not get it as badly as AJ and JA and you are right we tend to look at the women instead of the man, however, we don’t know what truly caused BP to leave JA. Spell check would not have picked that up because “here” is actually a word. It is not misspelled it is just the wrong word. That’s why it did not pick up the fact that you used “your” instead of the correct word “you’re” (you are) in your post. Pretty interesting indeed…

Jennifer Aniston will never be a major actress, but she could end up being a powerful force to reckon with behind the scenes as a producer. She does not need beauty to make it as a sharp businesswoman.
Comparing Jolie to Aniston is absurd because the main appeal of Jolie is her physical beauty. If she looked like Aniston and was a Goodwill Ambassador, we would barely care about her. Jolie’s advantage is her looks and a kind heart absolutely adds to her fame.
Jolie is a pretty good actress, but she doesn’t pull some of her characters off at all. Her accent in “AMH” sounds just like her accent in “Alexander,” and I hated it as well as the movie.
I also hated her in “The Good Shepherd.” She was good as the young, pre-wed nymph, but not as the mother or a young man and she had absolutely zero chemistry or connection with Matt Damon’s character.
Jolie’s movies are overall not that great. Most are fun and entertaining. They are exciting when she is the sexpot, but they’re not excellent pieces of work. She doesn’t get excellent roles. She is still not in the category of greatness. Her films basically make money because of her fan base and beauty, not her talent.
Greatness is Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Audrey Hepburn, Liz Taylor, Hepburn, Cate Blanchett and many others who are able to transform themselves into a myriad of characters.

I do agree that Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett etc. are good actresses. But I must admit that Angelina Jolie is an excellent actress, too, if she really gets into the roles. Usually I don’t pay any attention to actors or actresses. But when I saw Gia (this my first movie with Angelina),I was fascinated by the person who was willing to play that difficult role. At that time I was more interested in Winona Ryder and Michelle Pfeiffer’s movies. After Gia I have never thought about it again, then “Girl interrupted” came, again I became very curious… While I have never been able to watch a whole serie “Friends”. Perhaps because am an European and don’t like that American humour so much.
Sorry, for disagreeing you but I am convinced that Angelina is talented. Sure her action movies ask just physical ability… However, Angelina is an actress. This is my opinion and I can accept yours.

Much as everyone likes to think he let his ***** do the deciding, Brad Pitt has had access to beauty long before Jennifer and throughout their union. Why then was Angelina the great temptress he could not keep away from? In a case of rape or abuse you do not blame the victim, but in this she deserves some responsibility. We have all become well aware that having children was one of the major issues and most likely there were others, however how anyone can say he didn’t wait her out is beyond me. And granted we are not talking about everyday people who literally have to raise their children from the ground up (as in actually changing diapers, driving to school, buying the groceries, balancing the check book, etc.) we are talking about people who can literally enjoy the better aspects of parenting as there is hired help to do the dirty work. If she was not ready then it was all mental. Who is to say that would change or ever will? I mean just like clockwork they have denied this one as soon as they spilled it out so really now? Marriage is not just for the happiness of the woman.

I never watched Friends. The few minutes I caught didn’t make me laugh. It’s not my type of humor.
I loved Angelina Jolie in Gia and Girl Interrupted also, BUT…
Those characters were right in line with her. She used to model. She once used drugs. She could identify with Gia’s pain and have a field day with the role. Gia wasn’t a far enough stretch, and again, Jolie was incredibly beautiful in the movie. That fact alone drew many people in. They were mesmerized.
Girl Interrupted was another perfect role for Jolie because she was wild, exotic, rebellious and beautiful but disturbed. I just don’t think these roles were that difficult for her to play.
Jolie’s characters are somewhat over-dramatic. I want to see her once play a smaller-than-life character where her acting skills really show through, but I haven’t seen her do that. If she was really serious about acting, I think she would probably attempt to do live theater like “the greats” almost always do at one time or another in their careers. I don’t think Jolie is that into it and when she gets a little older and less marketale, she will fade out of acting and will concentrate on her goodwill work and raise her children full-time. Acting is not her passion like it is for many other actors.
Glenn Close played a crazy, sexy, woman in Fatal Attraction and was so believable. She can play the Vice President and a down-home country woman or anyone’s mother. She could do this when she was younger also. I think Cate Blanchett can also do it all and be believable. Meryl Streep is not gorgeous or young, but I’ll watch her films because I know the acting will be spot on. Through her great acting ability, she will add something special.
So far, when Jolie plays a more regular character, she’s pretty bland. If the movie doesn’t showcase her beauty, I generally don’t want to see it. Though AMH is an important film, I feel no desire to see it in a theater. I will wait for it on DVD.

For the person who said that Angie is not a good actress, I have to disagree. Angie has a lot of award for acting besides her oscar. Gia was one of my favorite movie, she pulled that off really well. I couldn’t see anyone playing that role but her. Girl Interrupted was another movie where she delivered. Action movies are not meant to be serious, or thought provoking. There only purpose is to entertain, and hardly be realistic. I think she is really good at the action movies, and I sure she could go head to head with any of the male action stars. She just has that kick a$$ persona.

I disagree too, I think that it is the depth of a specific role that can measure the amount of talent you have and I think that some of the roles she got at a young age proved without a doubt that she is one of the most talented of her generatio and has that edge.
Her beauty, like in any professional position for talented or intelligent women distract and hide her real potential but nonetheless she is very talented and gifted.
Halle Berry has the same problem though she is less talented. Charlize Theron before her Oscar was also believed to be less talented than she really is because her beauty distracts the viewer from the main focus. She had to make herself ugly to make people focus on what she has inside.
I definitely think that Angie has the depth to portray a range of profile from the psycho to the beloved mother to an assassin. She has it.
Jody Foster whose beauty is less but still there has this physical attributes that can put immidiately the focus on the character…
Halle Berry won the Oscar, but she is another beauty who is popular for her looks. Angela Bassett is an excellent, trained actress. Her acting in the Tina Turner movie was better than anything Halle has done. Halle hasn’t acted in a single great film, yet she gets all the work. This is how Hollywood is. Jolie is better than Halle, but like I said before, if both of these women looked like Aniston or even Glenn Close, they wouldn’t be where they are today.

Sally, she’s probably wants a child ‘ prettier than Shiloh’ but she really wouldn’t have much of a choice if/when she adopts. I mean I’ve adopted 5 times both internationally and domestically. I know for a fact that you don’t pick the child yourself. They select a child they think that would best fit with you and you family and can disagree with there choice but and they’ll pick another one but its not like they give you a book and say ‘okay tell me which one you want’ you know

I’ve never been a part of Jennifer’s following but I will always have admiration her because she offered nothing but silence when the whole world waited to see how very hurt she was. Whatever words she may have had, she kept them locked behind nine doors at least and made sure that nobody would hear. Her strength and self-respect deserve far more admiration than her ex’s glorious affair, which he started to flaunt when his marriage wasn’t even over yet, and the other woman’s somewhat saccharine stories about true love found at last. It’s interesting that I don’t have a thing against Angelina Jolie but I can never watch her interviews with Ann Curry to the end because something always strikes me as a very insincere behaviour: the way she turns her eyes or the way she smiles as if she’s trying hard to win hearts and minds. I don’t know.
How come a woman who cannot stand children is supposedly adopting ? How can any woman who talk **** and trash her ex own children can be a good mother herself ?
I don’t believe this one bit ! That woman has not an inch of motherly instinct in herself and is cold as ice when it comes to children !
She is just pulling another stunt out of desperation and because she has no personality at all, always trying to appear saintly and out of blame…for someone who told that Brad was the one that was not into wanting children, reality has bitten her hard by showing who the true liar was.
