OlderBrangelina in the Big Apple
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and the gang arrive in New York City for the red carpet premiere of A Mighty Heart on Wednesday.
The Jolie-Pitt kids — Maddox, 5, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2 — spent the afternoon together at a children’s museum in New York City with Marianne Pearl ’s son, Adam (pictured).
Pax (pictured) wore a shirt that read “Respect Your Mother.” Zahara (not pictured) was carried by an unidentified woman and her face was covered up with a blanket.
Brad & Angie are also schedule to attend the after-party at the Metropolitan Club, which is for Reporters Without Borders, an international group that protects the rights of journalists and photographers.
Dozens of paparazzi are currently camped outside the luxurious Waldorf-Astoria, waiting for a glimpse of Brad & Angelina.
UPDATE: Brad and Angelina made multiple stops around the Big Apple on Wednesday. Angelina carried around a bunch of books including “What Is the What: The Autobiography of Valentino Achak Deng” by Dave Eggers. The novel tells the story of a Sudanese refugee and member of the Lost Boys of Sudan program.
The couple made a short visit to the Harold Pratt Building and then went uptown to the offices of former President Bill Clinton on 125th St. in Harlem. Brad looked snazzy in a white shirt and black suit (no tie). Angie dressed in a black suit skirt and sweater.

I just saw a scan of us weekly on jolie makeover from wild to mild it’s another attack from min comparing angie in her billy bob days to how she is now using things she said when with billybob to recent articals and in the corner they say that jolie reveals TMI are they ******* kidding me this is the magazine that scours every media programme and every press interview angie does looking for anything she says just begging for her to throw a few crumbs their way and then they say she reveals too much.I wish someone would get hold of min and smack the **** out of that spiteful ***** i just wish she would leave angie alone.Why is it that angie gets all the **** thrown at her just because she is with brad and don’t get me wrong i really like brad but they never go after him like they do angie.

That’s why I can never buy that magazine, no matter how sweet the story or how good the pictures are. It’s also not Brad’s fault they don’t go after him because they are trying to get to Angie and the more she refuses to play their game, the more they’ll continue. They might also be pissed about that part of the Esquire article that the writer basically makes fun of their twisted double life story. And I absolutely love that Angie talks alot, good for her. They can’t make her do anything and it just gets to them. The more Angie dismisses them, the more they attack. Rock on Angie. :)

It’s pretty sad what passes for “journalism” these days. This woman cobbled together some quotes from Cannes and then searched the IMDB for a list of Brad’s upcoming projects. The IMDB is the only place I know of that continues to list Brad for the role of John Dean in “Dirty Tricks”. The movie is slated to start shooting in November of this year…when Brad will be shooting “State of Play”. I seriously doubt he’s going to film two movies at the same time.

No need to get upset Suzi, it’s not like this is new info. As a matter of fact, seeing the juxtaposition of AJ’s old life with her new life makes me admire her even more. The woman has come a long way….like she has said numerous times, she was a young hollywood brat living a life without purpose. It’s no worse than what Paris Hilton and her friends are doing right now, the difference IS AJ took stock of her life (without having to go to jail) and realized she could do more…be more and she did this in a world where being a useless celebrity is acceptable and even encouraged. If that isn’t a strength of character, I don’t know what is.

Isn’t that what most of the “journalists” do nowadays? Gone are the days when a story is done with ojectivity and thorougly researched to get to the truth. If it’s written somewhere and enough people believe it then it must be true. ((rolling my eyes))

Has anyone seen the Africa Vanity Fair issue. THey have all these activist trying to get africa it’s awareness then i flip the page and there is two page poster of Jennifer Aniston advertising SmartWater. I started laughing at how ridiculous it looks to have it right in the middle of the AFrican issue, how freakin ironic. Someone trying to sell expensive water VS. people who can barely get any. DUMB

Isn’t this what the Esquire interviewer was talking about? That the tabloids need for Angie to be seen as “crazy” because without that, they have nothing to work on. Without the crazy angle, they would realize this is a young woman who has accomplished so many things, is hard working, takes care of her family, has been given top honors in alot of areas, and is not even done by a long shot. In other words, she would be boring and not sell their magazines.
Wow, that is just so awesome. Who else but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt go to visit a former President of the United States before heading up a premiere of a movie that Brad produced and Angie stars in. If anyone is in any doubt that Angie and Brad are becoming an influence in the political arena (local and internationally) they need to check themselves. This fam is on fire! LadyG - I’m wondering why Zee’s face was being covered by a blanket too. I think it’s pretty hot there today so I’m guessing to keep her cool and shaded from the sun…

Angelina’s next project is the animated film Kung Fu Panda. I wonder if she changed her plans because she will be pregnant. I hope so!!!!!
I also want to add that AJ is not ashamed of her past, I don’t think we should either. I’d like to believe she is a better woman because of it.
I do hope Janice Min lived a pristine past….now that she’s made herself prosecutor, judge and jury.
