Akon deserves our acceceptance for his apology. Everyone has made mistakes in their life. Akon made a few mistakes but at least he has the guts to write and record a song to apologize for his behaviour. If your angry at Akon, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself why you didn’t write a song about your mistakes. What Akon did takes guts, so don’t be angry. On top of it all, i don’t see anyone else writing songs about their mistakes. Akon is my boy, so think back into your younger years at the mistakes you’ve made and then think about the courage it took for Akon to wriote that song while he was being chased by the feds.
