Akon has released his apology song called “Sorry, Blame it on Me” in response to the suggestive video of him dancing with an underage fan during one of his concerts in Trinidad.
He publicly apologizes to his tourmate, Gwen Stefani, who lost Verizon as a sponsor because of this incident. No release date has been set for the the song but you can download the Akon’s “Sorry, Blame it on Me” MP3. Check out the lyrics below!

To all those who said bad things about my man Akon: **** You! Was Akon supposed to have checked her ID when the club let her into a 21+ club? If she had been 21 or older it would not have mattered. SHE MADE THAT CHOICE to ENTER the 21+ club and SHE MADE THAT CHOICE TO GET ON STAGE! So why was she there and did someone force her in the club? Hmmmm…. I guess somehow that was all Akon huh! Her parents should be giving her an ass whooping or giving her lots of condoms. Gwen Stefani is not a coward for not letting Akon go from her tour-she’s smart she knows that not all of that is on Akon. All you haters are just jealous that they are both very talented entertainers and you have no one else to bother that you have to try and bring these two down. Get over it!!!!

I respect him for this. If this were to happen to any of you that are calling him a loser, and an idiot, or whatever, I’m sure you wouldn’t have had the courage to make an apology to the world like this. He is taking the blame off of all of these other people and putting in on himself. He should be blamed for this, but some people are punishing Gwen Stefani for his actions and that’s wrong. So I respect him for taking the blame. What he did was wrong, and he is accepting that and saying he deserves the blame. I think everyone is coming down to hard on Akon. First, if you had to be twentyone to get into this club then why was a 14 year old there? What happened to checking ID’s. Second, every concert that I have been to, always have females screaming to get on stage knowing what to expect!! I mean, what do you think is going to happen, receive a pat on the shoulder? Don’t get it twisted, everyone knows what to expect when going on stage with a performer. Everyone is always out to blame someone else for their actions. Akon is fuukin amazing. Why are all of you people jipping him, he said sorry and he’s made an awsome song out of it too. Anyway, he’s told people they can put the blame on him, and what was a 14 year old doing in a 21+ club, it’s illegal!! I really think this song is one of Akon’s best yet, so please people give him some slack. What more do you want? He’s wrote a song about how sorry he is.
