I’m not taking his side because he’s famous but Akon was just having fun.
we all do stuff that we regret. But it’s not like u have to be all serious about it. It’s a part of life. It’s legal to dance like that in a 21+ club. everyones over 21 there like comon people.

I think akon is trying to do the right thing by saying sorry but he already did those things twice i think he doesn’t care and he have to said sorry becuase he knows that his fans wouldn’t like him. Also what in the hell a girl that is 14 years old can go to a club that is just stupid besides what kind of security is the one. Well, first off i believe that most if the comments posted here are idiotic in their own right. Can we please you the English language correctly?

Akon screwed up, he admits it. The bottom line is he shouldn’t have done that whether the girl was 14 or 40. However, the club is at the most fault and cause the whole problem by not preventing her entrance. They had a responsibility to protect that girl from herself, and the entertainer they hired.

I don’t believe that Akon is a bad man - i believe, like everyone, hes human. Human make mistakes, and we all deserve redemption. And frankly, its not like he did anything terrible… He didn’t kill, he didn’t rape, he didn’t do anything beyond a simple mistake that we all can be guilty of doing. He went to far.

Akon is such an idiot. Most people that I have met dont know about this side of him. It wasnt her fault, so what if she was wearing clothes that were a little bit revealing, Akon knew what he was doing and he had the choice whether to continue or not, Also HE KNEW she was under age. Obviously her parents trusted her and the people running the competition, that they would take would take good care of their child, to let her go! Rape is a serious crime and it can cause phsychological harm to the victim. Taking the blame or saying sorry, sure it may seem easy to let those words fall out of your mouth, but to the victim it can mean nothing! What kind of entertainer throws fans off stage (sure you were trying to protect yourself), but as Akon says in his lyrics “Im just a singer trying to entertain”…What the hell is that about! We know your trying to enterain people, but if you were’nt so cracked in the head maybe you would realise that these people actually like your music and they are desperate to meet you!
