Akon has released his apology song called “Sorry, Blame it on Me” in response to the suggestive video of him dancing with an underage fan during one of his concerts in Trinidad.
He publicly apologizes to his tourmate, Gwen Stefani, who lost Verizon as a sponsor because of this incident. No release date has been set for the the song but you can download the Akon’s “Sorry, Blame it on Me” MP3. Check out the lyrics below!

Does anyone notice the tatoo on this so called little girls back. She is 14 years old and has a tatoo, what does that say about her family and her lifestyle. Akon’s fault is the type of dance he did. But let us all be honest with ourselves for a minute or two. Had this been a 25 year old female, none of this would be an issue. Let’s look at where the blame should really be. It always goes back to the parents. What parent would let a 14 year old get a tatoo or leave late at night to go sleep over at a friends house. It seems that they do not care.

I think this song is awesome. It doest matter that he says the blame is on them. First he takes blame for all the stupid stuff he’s done. Then takes blame for things that other people have done. That is why he says even though the blames on you. Dont call him an idiot if your going to be one yourself.

there was alot of people to be blamed there. yes he shouldnt have have done that and call it entertainment cos rape isn’t entertainment. But she should never have been tbhere in the first place, the club should have never let her inside, se got in dressed up tring to be something she wasn’t. there is more than just akon to blame here. He is the only one that has tried to apologize for his wrong doing, and he wants the others that should be getting blamed to do the same, like the club, the girl. Why should he get all the blame he didnt no she was 14 when its a 21+ club. give him a break where are the others to apologize. He has given us great music and i think this is the best yet.

Okay so I dont like Akon but still that girl should NOT have been in that club! its a 21+ club!!And yes, its tempting just because you’re not aloud but still the freaking ID checker person should have saw her or something! hey i think that this is a great song akon. i will always support your music. come on people everyone makes mistakes and there is always a time to ask for forgiveness and at least he did not like other singers who just do whatever they want and dont even give a ************ about what they did. it’s the girl’s fault for sneaking into a club when she shouldn’t be there, that’s why he sais ill take the blame for you
