what is so bad about the song anyway??? it takes a lot of courage to actually appologise in public and make a song about it! i think the song is brilliant and i love it, it is my favourite song! i havent seen the video but it couldnt possibly be that bad and if she thinks she’s SO GROWN UP to go into a 21 AND OVER CLUB than sh’e gotta expect things like this to happen! and if she didnt want it to happen she could’ve pushed him away but thats wot u get for being a ****!

I have looked at the video over and over again trying to see where the young lady in question pushes Akon away…can’t see it….As someone from the Caribbean this kinda thing goes on all the time at clubs and concerts….Girls and guys alike aggressively fight to get up on stage to behave like this….That’s a part of ‘de culture’….EVERYONE is blaming Akon, but who’s blaming her parents, or the club….At age 21 if u wanna go out there and put urself out like that all the power to u….but at age 14 u need ur parents to set boundaries……Akon ought not to be blamed, if any of u have been to any Caribbean island u would know that’s acceptable dancing….does it look like it simulates agressive sex, sure it does but that’s what’s done there….Does that mean we condone rape (thin line between agresssive sex and rape, for it to have been rape she had to say NO!!)), no it does not but like I said, the young gir was not pushing him away….She may have thought since its not a Caribbean soca artiste that he would have been gentler, I don’t know but I’ve seen how some Africans get on in a session and all I can say is I see where we get it from….Ah well to each his own…I personally would never be up on stage grinding with anyone but I have friends who have done it and I know girls vie to be ‘honoured’ to be up on there shaking their stuff…
