Brad & Angelina - “A Mighty Heart” After Party
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attend the A Mighty Heart premiere after-party at NYC’s The Metropolitan Club on Wednesday night.
The premiere and after-party were thrown for Reporters Without Borders, an international group that protects the rights of journalists and photographers. A Mighty Heart is based on a book written by Marianne Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Other pictures include Brad & Angie graciously signing autographs for fans during the film’s premiere.

Usa Today was going to publish a big interview about last night premiere, big one. After the mess Roger did at the event they decided to skip it and only publish a small blurb on the entretaiment section.
Roger got really worked up about freedom of speech last night, expect Bill O’really to give a big negative coverage tonight.
Brad Grey was very upset by the whole thing. He wasn’t expecting most of the reporters to side with fox.
Seriously, does anyone with a brain care what Fox or USA Today has to say? They’re both a joke as far as journalism is concerned. “Fair and balanced” my ass.
Oops, it should say the US Department of State.
I’ll wait to see the rest of the newspapers report on Angelina’s alleged gag on Fox news.

Where exactly did she say that? Really where? She said to stay on the topic at hand, the movie and the interview could only be used to promote the movie. The reporter can say whatever they want to say about her, her life, her children but the can’t use the interview to help them do that. What part of that don’t you get?

The interview, the audio or written interview has nothing to do with the reporter saying anything bad about AJ, two very seperate matters. How can you not get that the reporter can say whatever it is that he wants but he can’t reference the interview to do it. He could have said the movie sucked, he can say Angie is ugly but he can not show the interview while talking about that or he can’t use quotes from the interview to make his point anything else Angie has every said and real and true facts that are out there to support his writings can be used. He can reference the Vogue or Mary Claire mag article if he wants but he can only use this interview to promote the film. Either you are hard to comprehend or you get it you just don’t want to.

Last night was suppose to be about Daniel Pearl. An honest journalist who died doing his job. Instead his fellow journalist are having throwing a hissy fit because they were ask to stay on topic, just for that night.

How true.
Kudos for Paramount vantage for taking the high road and giving notice to all that this important film should be the film. No tabloid stuff. Those who refused to agree were not doing it on principle but because they all know they wanted to ask Angelina what it’s like to kiss Brad Pitt. If that quote from the rep from Doctors without Broders is true, then he’s an idiot. The paparassi are not considered press. Only credentialed photographers with completed background checks are press. These people should be allowed to do their job. Does Reporter Without Borders mean reporters who act without boundaries including breaking into people’s homes, running people over for a story, stealing, peeping onto children’s school and schoolgrounds, then down with that organization.
Paparazzi have no business trying to take business from legit photojournalists. Do you all know what Paparazzi means in Italian? This phrase was deveeloped during the Hollywood Italian heyday with the whole la Dloce Vita era of film with director Fellini. It means annoying little buzzing bugs. How could a legit reporter consider himself like one? Amazing!
Fox News saw that they could get better ratings by going deeper into the gutter, like the did with the Paris Hilton thingy.
So they will use AJ in any form or fashion to keep those ratings.
Fox News doesn’t care about ‘AMH’ or that Daniel Pearl lost his life in the name of getting the truth out in the open or that Mariane and Adam suffer a great lost. It’s all about them and what they want and everything else be d@mned.
I still say that Fox News went there with less than honorable intentions and all this whining proves it!
I am waiting for the JOURNALISTS I trust to give their take on this whole matter. Fox, to me is no legitimate news source, and it’s no secret to anyone.

Paramount allowed fox news crew after the drama. They were at the party but refused to do a interview with angelina and sing the contract.
Brad Grey was the one who let fox news in after jolie said no.
Hmmmm ….
I remember similar incidents happened two years ago when Mr. and Mrs. Smith was to open.
Journalists (according to reports) were also requested to sign agreements that they do not ask personal questions during the press conference. Some (pseudo) journalists complained.
The result? Mr and Mrs. Smith catapulted to a world-wide blockbuster earning close to half billion dollars world wide.
If these are signs of things to come …. then go A Mighty Heart.

AJ did the right thing! I think this move was just a minor up yours, I cant wait for the ultimatum from them though..heheh.
The U.S. media clearly dont kow when theyre askign things out of bounds. The focus should be about the movie and nothing about silly queries just to be twisted by them i.e. that brief piece about Hilton from Showbiz tonight- they freakin implemented Jolie’s Esquire quote to PH and other hw wanna be stars. You see, and that is why a lot of individuals believe what they read from th rag mags or hear from these’poor news shows’ since they clearly dont have ne ideas how these crappy reporters/writers fabricate accounts and decontextualize the real deals(quotes).
The Jolie-Pitt duo should do this more often and hopefully more A-list stars will follow their method so these media can start going back to the drawing board, ask theirselves of what things are essential when interviewing/writing a report.

CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC,etc is not anymore legitamate to me than Fox. Lets face it all of them have gotten tabloidish at times. Todays news by all of them has biaes. There is no no longer unbiased news outlets 100% of the time or even close to it. I prefer Fox over CNN. I can’t stand the discussion here this morning. I don’t know what happened. I happen to think that none of the so called news networks are 100% accurate, 100% non biased or their coverage is strictly 100% news only topics.
Well I glad Angelina is doing LK tonight because we’ll get to hear her side.
