Brad & Angelina - “A Mighty Heart” After Party
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attend the A Mighty Heart premiere after-party at NYC’s The Metropolitan Club on Wednesday night.
The premiere and after-party were thrown for Reporters Without Borders, an international group that protects the rights of journalists and photographers. A Mighty Heart is based on a book written by Marianne Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Other pictures include Brad & Angie graciously signing autographs for fans during the film’s premiere.

really is so funny how news outlet has become this day. is it because Angelina does not have PR that is why she always receive the blame. am just wondering.
So Brad bans some reporters from o13 and the only one to have a fit about it is Ted Casablanca, now angelina bans a few people from asking her personal questions and it’s suddenly a big deal. Omg what a ***** she is and Brad is just o so perfect. It was probably his idea.

This report about Angelina Jolie is very disheartening and slightly disgusting.
The actress and humanitarian went to extreme lengths to try and control the media at the premiere of her latest film A Might Heart.
Don’t make us turn on you, Ange!
Jolie’s outlandish behavior included….
- As she promoted a film about freedom of the press, she tried to censor all her interviews.
- Hypocrite Jolie’s lawyer required all journalists to sign a contract before talking to her at the premiere.
- Reporters from most major media outlets balked Wednesday when they were presented with an agreement drawn up by Jolie’s Hollywood lawyer Robert Offer.
- The contract closely dictated the terms of all interviews.
- Reporters were asked to agree to “not ask Ms. Jolie any questions regarding her personal relationships. In the event Interviewer does ask Ms. Jolie any questions regarding her personal relationships, Ms. Jolie will have the right to immediately terminate the interview and leave.”
- The agreement also required that “the interview may only be used to promote the Picture. In no event may Interviewer or Media Outlet be entitled to run all or any portion of the interview in connection with any other story. … The interview will not be used in a manner that is disparaging, demeaning, or derogatory to Ms. Jolie.”
- If that wasn’t enough, Jolie also requires that if any of these things happen, “the tape of the interview will not be released to Interviewer.” Such a violation, the signatory thus agrees, would “cause Jolie irreparable harm” and make it possible for her to sue the interviewer and seek a restraining order.
- USA Today and the Associated Press were among those that canceled interviews, and eventually Jolie scotched all print interviews when she heard the reaction.
- A call to Offer was apparently one that could be refused. He didn’t return calls. An associate, Lindsay Strasberg, said, before hanging up: “You’re a reporter? I can’t talk to reporters. Goodbye.”
- Jolie is famous by now for directing press and selling rights to her photos. She has long been in business with People magazine, orchestrating photo shoots of her children. The money, she says, goes to charity.
- A year ago, on June 8, 2006, about how Jolie and Pitt were responsible for the expulsion of journalists in Namibia where the couple went to have their child, Shiloh. Their bodyguards regularly got into fights with local photographers hoping to make some money from the couple’s colonial residency in their country.
- After Shiloh was born, Jolie and Pitt gave a news conference, but limited it only to Namibian journalists. No reporters from neighboring countries were allowed.

Here is the SIMPLE TRUTH.

She takes all the “blame” again, because he is “so private” (I am sure you remember his experimental merger and his PUBLIC whining and crying). He lets her stroke his EGO in the media, but if she would say something unflattering, he would deny it asap as always (his MO). But, he never tells the TRUTH of the FABRICATED “golden sh$t” nor the REAL reasons for that UGLY divorce (let’s face it, no matter what, he wouldn’t leave the x if not miserable and without any hopes for the future). She loves and admires the father he is to their kids, something that she has NEVER had. What about HER?! She told DS (TGS premiere)that he cared for the girls the morning of the interview-”without asking”. Without asking! It must feel good to have a picture-perfect girl and your baby’s mama to take all the sh$t all the time while you have it smoother and SMOOTHER.
Maybe he should go back to the fake and shallow Hw life where he belongs. Maybe she should get herself a MAN finally, she deserves one. She will never make one out of 44-yr old man. Just look at pathetic, stuck-in-his-20s narcissist Clooney.

YES! Finally a real Angelina fan is here and I agree with you. Brad never even comes to her defense. Even freakin Kylie Minogua did it for her ex… she stood up to the tablies and her fans who were bashing him. Kylie Minogue has bigger balls than Brad Pitt.

The NY premiere was a pr disaster. I understand what angelina was trying to do but she can’t expect to pull it without getting some negative press. The main problem last night and today morning was trying to control the press in a reporters without borders event.
All the good press that the movie was getting has gone to the toilet. For once I wish angelina could have let reporters do as they please. This movie is really important to both of them and now all the good work she did went to hell.

JOLIE MANHANDLES THE PRESS
Angelina Jolie might be all for freedom for small African children, but not when it comes to the American press. FOX News reports that Jolie banned their TV reporters from the red carpet at the premiere of “A Mighty Heart” last night in New York, and made reporters sign an agreement not to ask questions about her “personal relationships” if they wanted to talk to her. The biggest irony? The premiere was a benefit for the organization Reporters Without Borders.
Well, the AP and USA Today balked at Angelina’s demands and pulled out of interviews, and FOX ended up getting its credentials for the premiere after a “mortified” Paramount staffer found out. The contract stipulated that any tape with offensive questions would be taken away, and she might sue any interviewer who dared to ask a tough question.
Perez is a fair weather friend. If it suits his purposes, he will go with what works for his site. He knows he gets hits by an armyload if fanistons every time he bashes MANISTON, that’s why he does it. So I suggest you not even ATTEMPT to post or visit his website in droves as fans of Angelina, defending her or else he might get the idea to start trashing her regularly. I repeat, DO NOT GO TO PEREZ. Thank you 528 for bringing that here, so we don’t have to go wading around in Perez’s ****.
One other thing you should know about Perez. He plagiarizes a lot of his ’scoops,’ and ‘news,’ he was just set up no less than two weeks ago by X17…they planted a FAKE story about Lindsey Lohan with their overseas mailing list (which Perez is on, and from which he regularly steals from, so X17 says), and true to form he swiped it, and posted it on his site - thinking he would be the first site to run the tidbit. Truth was, it was all a fake, that X17 just set up to show the world how he doesn’t do the work himself. His Angie attack is a perfect example, it looosk like he just regurgitated the Roger Friedman bit and is printing the specifics of the ’signed agreement’ — well, the language of the agreement is nothing new, or special, or particular to Angelina, that’s just how they read.

You must be joking! The interview he gave was a rare one and he did it to defend his love.
The interview was tough, but he came out on top. I remember Lainey doing a bit on that.

Brad is a *****, Lainey says the media ignores him, she’s correct. But he loves being ignored. Last night was likely to blame both of them yet the press only blames angie and Brad keeps his silence.
Actually only Fox has complained. AP nor USA Today have not written anything about it. NY mag wrote somethng totally different than USA Today. They wrote that noone could get near Brad and Angelina but USA Today wrote anyone could go up to them an talk at the after party.

All blogs are bashing her hardcore. The ones who don’t give a **** about fox, are bashing her because of her dress and hair.
It sucks that the movie is getting lost between this childish drama. The good news is that angie has 2 interviews today and will have the chance to reply and try to keep the focus on the movie again.
So what if the media lashes on Angie! It won’t change my mind and I am still going to watch A Mighty Heart.
Pitt was a producer, and RESPONSIBLE.
SO don’t try to “come to his rescue”.
That wasn’t even the issue, you are not
rescuing him at all.
I love how the when the going gets tough (be it India, or Namibia, or this little minor dust-up with Fox), the weak ass true to form fake fans are the first to start throwing Brad and/or Angelina under a bus.
At the end of the day, do you think this is going to make people NOT see their movie? Bahahahaha! To the contrary - they’ll probably get more people than they otherwise would have. Controversy sells tickets, and just as with Mr & Mrs (and that press flack and boohooing over B&A trying to ‘censor’ the press) the film went on to make almost a half BILLION.
It’s funny we get all this crying over Angelina Jolie not permitting personal questions at a film event about a reporter’s murder - these self same reporters went to sleep on 9/11, went to sleep on Pat Tillman, went to sleep on Jessica Lynch, and went to sleep on Daniel Pearl…but they’ll give plenty of ink and broadcast time to getting turned down froms pending a little one on one time with Angelina.
They do have their priorities.
