Only thing is — I thought no interviews were done last night about A Mighty Heart because the supposely media walked out. So where is the focus on the movie — where are the reviews?

Everything just seems so one-sided, IMO.

You guys do realize that this interview was done last week and that last night Angie wanted the focus to be on the movie and not what her and Brad did this morning with the kids.

I agree with someone on the last thread that the fans are making this bigger than it actually is. Angelina will get her fair share of negative press but 20x more positive press along with it. You have to take the good with the bad sort of speak.

Angelina Jolie is a hypocrite

In the most hypocritical move ever, Angelina Jolie tried to censor all her interviews yesterday while promoting A MIghty Heart, her new film about freedom of the press. Jolie had her publicists ban FOX News from the red carpet of her premiere, and then had her lawyer require all journalists to sign a contract before talking to her, which basically said nobody could talk about her personal life and that “the interview may only be used to promote the Picture. In no event may Interviewer or Media Outlet be entitled to run all or any portion of the interview in connection with any other story. … The interview will not be used in a manner that is disparaging, demeaning, or derogatory to Ms. Jolie.”

USA Today and the Associated Press canceled their interviews, and eventually Jolie cut off all print interviews when she heard the reaction. And if all this wasn’t hypocritical enough, the premiere was a benefit for the organization Reporters Without Borders and she’s got a tattoo on her back that says “Know your rights.” How did she go from the hottest woman on the planet to the most annoying one? Nobody would even care about this except that she’s running around the world pretending to be better than everybody else. It’s like finding out instead of helping all those starving children in Africa she’s actually been giving them wedgies.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Media Ban Ire: ‘Who Does She Think She Is?’

Angelina Jolie and her non hubby Brad Pitt wowed the crowds at the New York premiere of A Mighty Heart. The pair posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans before heading down the red carpet. The film, produced by Brad’s company Plan B, tells the true story of the of journalist Daniel Pearl and the ordeal faced by his wife Marianne.

They didn’t wow reporters, though. According to reports the pair tried to ban certain media members from the red carpet, they did the same thing to E! _ for a recent premiere in Los Angeles, and asked other to sign off on an agreement on what questions can be asked for interviews.

“I wouldn’t sign it,” a reporter for a major outlet told Fox news. “Who does she think she is?” I’m guessing they are now starting to believe the press clippings and think that Brangelina makes all rules. USA Today and the Associated Press were among those that canceled interviews, and eventually Jolie scotched all print interviews when she heard the reaction, reports Roger Friedman.

The limelight may be taking its toll. Jolie looked like a shell of her former voluptuous self. Brad Pitt just looks old. Stunningly, the film they are promoting is about Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl who was killed pursuing a story. Many are slamming the Jolie-Pitt team as nothing more than hypocrites.
