Gerard Butler, aka King Leonidas in 300, takes to the skies and departs from LAX airport on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The Scottish stud was recognized by fans while waiting on the security line. Friendly as always, he took the time to greet them before passing through the metal detectors.
Gerard, 37, was in Japan earlier this week for a 300 promotional tour. You can check out videos of his appearances here.

No i’m not a friend of his, that’s why i know he’s a jerk, i tried to buy him a drink once in new york, but he said no thanks and bought his own! i was trying to be friendly and he wouldn’t reciprocate. that’s all!
He has explained the the ring on his right hand. It came from his first serious gf a long time ago - they’re still friends - he likes the ring and considers it good luck to his career. Otherwise, its meaningless.
He went out with a B-level “model” named Bianca Christians for about 9 mos last yr. They broke up - he said so. He’s not “spoken for.”
He has said he’s straight. He said this to a gay website that asked him if “300″ made him “feel a little gay.” And even though it was asked in a humorous way, Mr. Butler obviously took the answer seriously when he said in no uncertain terms ‘no [he] didn’t feel that way before and the role didn’t make [him] feel that way after.’
I spent a brief amount of time around him and I know a woman who went out with him several times. Gerard Butler is not gay.
I am so happy to hear that Gerard is not “Gay”. Thank God for this. Today, one never knows who is and who isn’t. I just assumed he wasn’t. Thanks for the update. I’m sure all his women fans will be more than happy. As for the men, Too Bad.
As I said in post 58, I’ve met Gerry a few times and I can tell you that he is NOT a jerk! He’s a nice, sweet and very funny guy. He makes you laugh.
According to the many interviews he’s given, he had a drinking problem that he felt was at epic proportions. He quit any kind of alcohol 9 yrs ago.
That might be why he refused your drink offer, Geeksquad. Maybe he looked like a jerk to you at the time, but things aren’t always what they seem.

These are by far my favorite pictures of him. He just looks so handsome. I guess it’s because this is him untouched. His body is perfect and his smile is so sweet. I hope he’s as humble as he seems. I love it when he comes off as a everyday regular person.
